Pleasefollowinstructionsbelowtoassemblethisellipticaltrainer.Note:Forbrevity,
throughoutthismanual,theword"screws"isusedwherescrews,washers,andother
hardwaremaybeinvolved.Also,thewords"left"and"right"areusedinreferenceto
theproductanditsparts.Notethat,assuch,thesedesignationscorrespondtothe
leftandrightsidesofapersoninpositiontoworkoutontheproduct.Alsonotethat
somepartsaremarked"L"forleftor"R"forright.
Pleasefollowsteps(a-b)tosecurethepedestal.
(a)Liftthepedestal(A1).
(b)Secureallscrews(10)insequence.SecurescrewsinareaA,followedbythosein
areaB.ThensecurescrewsinareaC,followedbythoseinareaD.
STEP2 AssembleMovingParts
Followsteps(a-d)toassemblethemovingparts.
(a)Removescrewsthataresecuredinthestridearmattachedtothemainframe(A1).
(b)InsertthegliderailintoareaA,thenintoareaB.
(c)Separatetherollercovers(A7).Snapthemtogetherinplaceontheproduct.
Thensecurethemwiththescrews.
(d)Removethescrew(22)fromthestrideadjustmentlinkage.Placethestride
adjustmentlinkageinplaceonthebushing,andusethescrewtosecureitinto
place.Pressthestrideadjustmentlinkagecover(11)intoplace.Followthesame
procedureontheothersideaswell.

STEP3 InstalltheSupportTubes
Followsteps(a-b)tosecuretheleftandrightsupporttubesintoplace.
(a)Removesupporttubescrews(23)(24)fromthemainframe(A1).
(b)Insertleftandrightsupporttubes(A8,A9)ontotheaxleandbase,andloosely
securetheminplacewiththescrews(23,24).

STEP4 InstalltheStationaryHandlebar
Followsteps(a-c)toinstallthestationaryhandlebar.
(a)Removescrews(25)fromtheleftandrightsupporttubes(A8,A9).Insertthe
stationaryhandlebars(A2)inplace.Usescrews(25)tosecurethem.Fullysecure
screwsinareaA.
(b)Removescrews(26)fromthesidesoftheleftandrightsupporttubes(A8,A9).
Snapaxlecovers(A4,A5)intoplaceonleftandrightsides.Andusescrews(A6)
tosecurethem.
(c)AftersecuringscrewsinareaB,slidesupporttubecoversdownontothebase.

STEP5 InstallStoppersandCovers
Followssteps(a-c)toinstallgliderailstoppers.
(a)Screwstoppers(12)intoplaceonbothgliderails.
(b)Removescrews(27)fromtheframe(A1).
(c)Snappedestalcovers(A3)togetherontheunit.Looselysecurescrews(27),
followedbyscrews(13).Afterallscrewsareinplace,securethem.

STEP6 InstalltheFootplate
Followsteps(a-c)toinstallthefootplate.
(a)Removescrews(28)fromthepedalcarriageasshown.
(b)Pushupwardonthenibsinthecushion,andliftthefrontandbackpartofthe
cushiontoexposefourscrewholes.(Note:Maintaintheconnectionatpivotpoint
A.)Usescrews(28)tosecurethefootplatetoitsmountonthepedalcarriage.
FirstsecureareaB,thensecureareaC.Insertthenibsonthecushionintothe
Holesonthefootplateonthepedalcarriage(A10).

STEP7 MovetheProductintoPlace
(a)Foroneperson:Gripthefrontbaseoftheproductandliftupward,thenpushthe
productintolocationforuse.Becarefultoavoidpinchingfingerswhensettingthe
productdown.
(b)Fortwopeople:Haveonepersongripthefrontbaseoftheproductwhilethe
otherpersongripsthesupporttubes(A8,A9).Withbothpeopleliftingand
stabilizingtheunit,rollitintoplaceforuse.Becarefultoavoidpinchingfingers
whensettingtheproductdown.

STEP8 LeveltheProduct
Fortheuser'ssafetyandtheproduct'sproperfunctioning,thisellipticaltrainermust
sitlevelonaflatfloor.Ifnecessary,pleaseadjustproductlevelersbyfollowingsteps
(a-c).
(a)Loosenthelevelernut.
(b)Rotatethelevelerfootdownwardsoitfirmlytouchesthefloor.
(c)Tosecurethisposition,securethelevelernutupwardagainsttheproductframe.

standards.ThegroundwireisnotrequiredbyNorthAmericansafetystandards.
Toavoidelectricshockandcurrentleakage,thisproducthasanexteriorgroundwire.
Foryoursafety,connectthisgroundwiretotheunitandtothebuildingground.
Installationinstructions:Pleaseusescrewsandwasherstosecureoneendofthe
groundwiretotheproductframeasshownandtheotherendtothebuilding
electricalground.
