charger;localregulationsmayrestricttheageoftheoperator.
II.Preparation
1.Useappliancesonlywithspecicallydesignatedbatterypacks.
Usingothertypesofbatterypacksmaycreateariskofinjuryand/or
re.
2.Donotuseadamagedormodiedbatterypackorbatterycharger.
Itmayexhibitunpredictablebehavior,resultinginre,explosion,
orriskofinjury.
3.Ifthesupplycordtothebatterychargerisdamaged,contactan
AuthorizedServiceDealertoreplaceit.
III.Operation
1.Donotusenon-rechargeablebatteries.
2.Chargethebatterypackwithonlythebatterychargerspeciedby
Toro.Achargersuitablefor1typeofbatterypackmaycreatearisk
ofrewhenusedwithanotherbatterypack.
3.Chargethebatterypackinawell-ventilatedareaonly.
4.Donotexposeabatterypackorbatterychargertoreorto
temperatureshigherthan100°C(212°F).
5.Followallcharginginstructionsanddonotchargethebatterypack
outsideofthetemperaturerangespeciedintheinstructions.

Otherwise,youmaydamagethebatterypackandincreasetherisk
ofre.
6.Underabusiveconditions,thebatterypackmayejectliquid;avoid
contact.Ifyouaccidentlycomeintocontactwiththeliquid,ushwith
water.Iftheliquidcontactsyoureyes,seekmedicalhelp.Liquid
ejectedfromthebatterypackmaycauseirritationorburns.
IV.MaintenanceandStorage
1.Donotallowchildrentocleanormaintainthebatterychargerwithout
supervision.
2.Whenthebatterypackisnotinuse,keepitawayfrommetalobjects
suchaspaperclips,coins,keys,nails,andscrewsthatcanmakea
connectionfrom1terminaltoanother.Shortingthebatteryterminals
maycauseburnsorare.
3.Donotattempttorepairthebatterypackorbatterycharger.Have
anAuthorizedServiceDealerperformserviceonthebatterypack
orbatterychargerusingidenticalreplacementpartstoensurethat
theproductissafelymaintained.
4.Donotdisposeofthebatteryinare.Thecellmayexplode.Check
withlocalcodesforpossiblespecialdisposalinstructions.
