GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS LIGHTEFFECTS
WARNING: The safety of the unit is only guaranteed if the instructions below are observed. The instructions must therefore be
kept. Not following the cautions cancels the warranty conditions and releases the manufacturer and the seller from any
responsibility in case of accident.
• The unit is not for domestic use and has to be installed indoors by a qualified engineer / technician only.
• The symbol shown on the label indicates that the device is a Class 1 product and it does require an earth connection.
• The symbol on the sticker of the device indicates the minimum distance to be kept between the device and the
lighted object.
• Watch the maximum surrounding temperature (see ‘Ta’ on the sticker of the device).
• The lamp must be replaced if it has been damaged or warped by heat. The lamps are not included.
• Only use lamps which comply with sheet No. 3255-EN60357. With this unit 2x G6.35 120V/250W lamps (ordercode 80508).
• WARNINGS:
- Disconnect the device from the mains before replacing the lamp or fuse (3) (F4A/230V).
- Be carefull, the device is very hot! (see ‘Tc’ on the sticker of the device).
- Keep the device away from moisture and water.
- The unit must be installed on normal inflammable surfaces.
- Only use this device for the purpose of design.

- Capacity: see ‘LAMP’ on the sticker of the device.
INSTALLATION:
Before using the device you should carefully read following instructions:
• Disconnect the device from the mains.
• Install the halogen lamp(s) as follows: - Unscrew the lamp cover (1) and open it.
- Take the halogen lamp out of the packing, but don’t touch the lamp with your
hands.
- Carefully press the lamp into the socket.
- Re-assamble the lamp cover.
• When the device hasn’t been delivered with a fixed mounting bracket (2), you will have to fit the mounting bracket first.
• Rig the device by means of it’s mounting bracket at the place of destiny.
• Now you can use the device by applying 220V power to the device.
OPERATING:
• Music is picked up by a built-in microphone (5) and a electronic circuit. The turning knob (4) serves to adjust the sensitivity
of the device. A clockwise movement increases the sensitivity.
• Consistent breaks during operation is essential to maximize the life span of this device as it is not designed for continious
operation.
• This device needs a proper ventilation. For a good ventilating effect, please clean the fan and venting slots often to get rid of
any dust, etc.
• Only earthed sockets may provide the 220 V mains.
• This device is not dimmable. Don’t attempt to dim this device by means of a dimming pack. Otherwise damage will occur to
the device.
• Be carefull with eventual moving parts of this device. They can cause injuries or defects.
