25 GRIND DEGREES
Grind degree control allows you to vary coffee beans grinding depending on
the variety of coffee, type of roasting and different ways of making coffee: in
espresso coffee machines, drip and geyser coffee makers and French press.
You can select the grind degree to make a drink that best suits your taste.

The set includes 2 brackets for filter holders of various diameters used both in
the professional and consumer coffee makers and coffee machines. With these
brackets, you can grind coffee directly into the filter holder.

SEALED CONTAINTER FOR GROUND
COFFEE
Ground coffee looses its aroma really fast and absorbs moisture. It is
recommended to grind coffee right before making coffee to save its aroma and
flavor. Ground coffee shall be stored in a sealed container.
SAFETY AND COMFORT
Extended opportunities of use, durable millstones and motor protection
from overheat guarantee high safety. Legs with antiskid coating, capacious
transparent container to load coffee beans and removable tray ensure comfort
of use.
STAINLESS STEEL CONE MILLSTONES
You can get uniform grind, which is necessary for making coffee under
pressure, for example, espresso. Thanks to the optimum rotation speed, the
cone millstones do not heat up and burn the coffee, thus preserving its aroma.
SUITABLE FOR GRINDING SPICES
Besides coffee beans, cone blades can grind any spices, giving unforgettable
aroma to your favorite meals.
Use the following dry spices for grinding: mustard seeds, coriander, cumin, salt,
pepper (pea), rosemary, thyme, basil, savory, estragon, fenugreek, as well as
oats, cereals (rice, millet, buckwheat).

OPERATIONOPERATION

For manual grinding press and hold down the
START / CANCEL button or the filter holder switch
until you receive the desired quantity of coffee.
You can adjust the set quantity when the coffee
grinder is on with the help of ADJUST AMOUNT
control.
Adjust the coffee grind degree only when the coffee
grinder is on. Adjustment of the coffee grind degree
when the coffee grinder is off will lead to sticking
of coffee beans between the millstones, additional
operational noise and, as a result, failure of the
appliance.
OPTION OF DIRECT COFFEE GRINDING
IN THE FILTER HOLDER
The set includes 2 brackets for filter holders with
the diameter of (50–54 mm and 58 mm) used both
in professional and consumer coffee makers and
coffee stations.
These brackets give possibility to grind coffee
directly in the filter holder.
Overfilling of the filter holder with ground coffee is
deemed normal.
The volume of uncompacted coffee is 3 times more
than the volume of compacted coffee.
• Place the beans container on the coffee grinder’s
base by connecting the claws.
• Turn the lock control inside the container
through 90° towards LOCK.
• Add coffee beans and close the container with
the lid.
To take off the beans container turn the lock control
towards UNLOCK.
• Set the container for ground coffee in the
necessary brackets of the filter holder.
• Plug in the coffee maker.
• Select the grind degree.
If you have difficulties with setting of the control,
switch on the empty coffee grinder for a short
period of time by pressing the START / CANCEL
button and turn the control.
• Set the desired quantity of coffee for grinding.
The processed quantity will vary depending on the
grind setting.
• To begin grinding press the Start / Cancel button
or the filter holder switch.
Coffee grinding will automatically stop when the set
quantity of coffee is processed.
ENERGY SAVING MODE
If the coffee grinder is not used for 5 minutes, it will
be automatically off.
To resume operation of the coffee grinder in the
energy saving / sleep mode press any button on the
control panel of the coffee grinder.

If you use a double filter, we recommend to make setting 11–20
to receive a coarser grind degree.
If you use a single filter select setting 17–25 within the range of ESPRESSO
settings. COFFEE ADJUSTMENT SUBJECT TO YOUR WISHES (ADJUST AMOUNT)
Adjust amount function allows to increase or
decrease the pre-set value of coffee amount with
the help of the filter holder or the coffee container.
Increase of coffee amount for grinding
In order to increase the pre-set coffee amount
for grinding turn the ADJUST AMOUNT control
clockwise.
One point turn will increase coffee amount for
grinding by 5%, maximum possible increase
comprises 25%.
Decrease of coffee amount for grinding
In order to decrease the pre-set coffee amount
for grinding turn the ADJUST AMOUNT control
counterclockwise. One point turn will decrease
coffee amount for grinding by 5%, maximum
possible decrease comprises 25%.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONSADVICE
• Keep this operating manual.
• Keep the coffee grinder’s casing clean.
• During cleaning observe the instructions
specified in section “Maintenance and Cleaning”.
• Place the coffee grinder only on a dry even
surface.
• Before operation make sure that the coffee
grinder is correctly assembled.
• Do not switch on the coffee grinder until the
beans container and the lid are set in the
required position in the grinding chamber.
• Adjust the coffee grind degree only when the
coffee grinder is on. Adjustment of the coffee
grind degree when the coffee grinder is off will
lead to sticking of coffee beans between the
millstones, additional operational noise and, as
a result, failure of the appliance.
• It is not recommended to operate the coffee
grinder for over 2 minutes, as it can lead to
overheating. After a long period of operation wait
until the coffee grinder cools down during 20
minutes.
• Do not place ground coffee in the container
for beans. The coffee grinder is not meant for
grinding of sticky, oily or very solid products.
• Unplug the coffee grinder after usage, as well
as before assembly, dismantling, cleaning and
storage.
• Upon detection of any damages immediately
suspend operation of the coffee grinder and bring
it to the nearest service center for testing, repair
or replacement.
• For safety reasons all operations on repair
and maintenance of the coffee grinder shall be
performed only by authorized representatives of
BORK certified service centers.
• Store coffee beans in a dark, cool and dry place.
If possible, seal the package.
• After grinding coffee quickly looses its taste
and aroma. Grind coffee beans directly before
brewing to receive the best result.
• Do not store coffee beans in the coffee grinder’s
container for a long period of time.
• Before storage switch on the empty coffee
grinder to grind beans remaining between the
millstones.
• For maximum freshness of beans switch on the
coffee grinder for 2 seconds before each use.
• Periodically clean the beans container and the
cone millstones.
• If you have difficulties with setting of the control,
switch on the empty coffee grinder for a short
period of time by pressing the START / CANCEL
button and turn the control.
