PLA1327 Replacement Filter
Remove the replacement filter from its packaging,
place in a bowl or sink and fully cover the filter with
water.
Soak the filter for at least 30 minutes and then rinse
off with cold clean running water.
2: CHECK THE RUBBER STOPPER
Ensure the rubber stopper as shown in Fig. A is
inserted correctly as shown in Fig. B
3: ASSEMBLE THE CHILLER UNIT
Insert filter into the upper water tank and ensure that
it is fully seated. Place the Base water tank and the
Upper water tank onto the Chiller unit.
Fill the Upper water tank with cold clean water.
Operate the taps to circulate the water and to flush it
through the system to remove any black carbon dust,
repeat as many times as necessary.
NOTE: The discarded water can be used on plants
without harm.
Fill the Upper water tank with cold clean water again
and switch the Chiller “ON” at the back of the unit.
Both the “COLD” indicator (Blue) and “POWER”
indicator (Yellow) will illuminate.
Allow approximately 30-40 minutes for the water to
chill.
When the “Cold” indicator turns off the water in the
internal tank is fully chilled.
PLEASE NOTE: You may notice some fine black carbon dust coming out or the water
filter. These are actually activated carbon from the filter which are used to purify the
tap water. The black carbon dust in the water is non-toxic and will happen on all new
filters and when the water is flushed through the first couple of times.
