It supports dual data rates of 10Gbps and distances up to 40km with SMF. The transceiver is RoHS-compliant and lead-free. It features a cooled EA-DFB/PIN-PD package, SC Duplex Receptacle connector, and XAUI Electrical Interface with 4 x 3.125 Gb/s Ethernet. The transceiver also provides diagnostics, temperature monitoring, and management and control via the MDIO 2-wire interface.
