MONESSEN Log Placement Owner's manual

  • Hello! I have reviewed the Log Placement Instructions for the Hearth & Home Technologies AVFL42(N/P)TSC and AVFL36 Log Sets. This document provides detailed steps for installing the ceramic fiber driftwood logs with bracket support and proper alignment. It also includes diagrams and important safety information such as wearing gloves when handling the logs. Log Placement Instructions
Model: AVFL42(N/P)TSC
WARNING: Turn off replace and allow to cool complete-
ly before beginning installation.
Kit Contents:
• Two(2)ceramicberdriftwoodlogs
• Four(4)logsupportpinbrackets
• Eight(8)#8bracketmountingscrews
NOTE —Donothandlelogswithyourbarehands.Always
wear gloves to prevent skin irritation from ceramic bers.
Afterhandlingthelogs,washyourhandswithsoapandwater
toremoveanytracesofbers.
NOTE:Priortoinstallingthelogset,youmustrstinstall
thepinbracketsontheburner.Theairdeectionglassand
reglassshouldonlybeinstalledafterthepinbracketsare
inplace.Theairdeectionglassshouldbeinstalledpriorto
placingandreglassontheburner.Thelogsmustthenbe
placedintheunitafterthereglassandairdeectionglass.If
theoptionallogsareaddedaftertheairdeectionglassand
reglassareinuse,movethereglassawayfromtheareas
in Figure 1andinstallthesupportbrackets,thenarrange
reglassevenlyacrossburneragain.

1. Mountthefourlogsupportpinbracketsusingmounting
holes and screws provided in locations indicated in
Figure 2.Notethatthefrontlogcanbemountedintwo
differentpositions.Thepinbracketscanbemovedto
accommodatethepreferredlogplacement.
2. Placethelargerearlog(#1)byaligningtheholesinthe
bottomofthe log withthetwopins at thebackofthe
burner.Figure 3.
3. Placethefrontlog(#2)byaligningtheholesinthebot-
tomofthelogwiththetwopinsatthefrontoftheburner.
Thefrontlogmaybeplacedinoneoftwopositionson
theburnerdependingonwhichtwopinsetlocationsare
used.
