Connector Products (CPI) Hot-Stick Stirrup Installation guide

2) Read markings to verify correct wire
range.
1) Separate insert “Interface” from connector.
Do not loose the insert.
5) Flip connector over and position as
pictured. 6) Position connector over main line where
desired.
4) Hold center of bail in the hot-stick.

3) Gently unscrew bolt to full open position.
7) Lower bail into position. 8) Insert interface on Hot-Stick in the same
direction that it will be inserted into the
connection. This will allow easy Hot-Stick
removal.
9) Tighten Hot-Stick on Interface. 10) Slide interface along main wire and into
the connector until it reaches the stop.
11) Release interface from Hot-Stick.

12) Use a universal socket stick and 3/4”
socket to tighten bolt until Hex Head shears
off. The bolt should break off at 110-130
