REPAIR SERVICE
• Do not set up the appliance near a heat source.
Setting up the appliance in warm rooms, close
to heat sources (heating systems, ovens) or with
exposure to direct sunlight will cause them to
use more power, i.e. to be less economical, so
locations of this nature should be avoided.
• If this is not possible, always maintain the
following minimum distances:
- 30 cm from coal-burning or oil-fired ovens;
- 3 cm from electric and/or gas ovens.
• The spacers (if provided) should be fitted to the
back panel of the condenser on the back of the
appliance.
• Set up the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated
place, and if necessary, adjust the front feet to
get it into a level position.
• Clean the interior.
• Install the accessories.
Electrical connection
• The electrical connections must comply
with local specifications.
• The type plate inside the appliance provides
details of rated voltage and power levels.
• Legislation requires the appliance to be
electrically grounded. The manufacturer is
not liable for any damage or injury to
items, people or domestic pets resulting
from any failure to follow these stipulations.
• If the connector and receptacle are not of the
same type, have the receptacle replaced by a
qualified electrician.
• Never use extension cables or multi-gang
adapters.
Electrical isolation (shut-down)
It must be possible to isolate the appliance
electrically by unplugging its mains power
connector, or by using a front-mounted
(‘upstream’) two-terminal switch.
