SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot
be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating
this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, or the modi cation or
adjustment of any part of the appliance.
Fundamental precautions shall be observed when using the product, including the following:
1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and
that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
2. The outlet must be easy to access after plugging in the device.
3. Do not use an appliance with a damaged cord or plug, that fell or is otherwise damaged or operates
improperly. If the power cord is damaged, immediately unplug the device and have the power cord
replaced by a quali ed service centre.
4. Do not immerse the appliance or power cord into liquids, do not expose to rain or moisture and use only
in accordance with these instructions.
5. The product is intended for household use only, not for outdoor use or commercial use.
6. Do not bend the power cord over the edge of a table or other sharp edges, do not twist them or leave
them in the vicinity of hot surfaces.
7. Do not plug or unplug the power cord with wet hands. Do not pull the cord to unplug.
8. Do not leave a running appliance unattended.
9. Do not immerse the appliance into water or other liquids, not even partially.
10. Do not use a wet or moist slicer, if you have wet hands or are standing on a wet  oor.
11. Use the slicer in its working position in areas where there is no risk of tipping the appliance over, and far
away from heat sources (heater, stove, oven etc.) and moist surfaces (e.g. kitchen sink, bathroom sink
etc.).
12. Only use approved accessories with the appliance. Using other accessories can be dangerous for the
operator.
13. Protect the appliance against climate conditions (sunlight, rain) and freezing temperatures.
14. Use the slicer for processing thawed foods only! Do not slice dry, hard bread and other baked goods,
smoked meats with bones or meats with bones, fruits with hard seeds, food wrapped in aluminum foil
or plastic wrap.
15. Keep your hands away from the blade area. Use the sliding tray to move food towards the blade and the
safety push guard for small pieces.
16. Make sure the blade is well anchored before plugging in the appliance into the electric outlet.
17. After you are  nished using the appliance and prior to any maintenance work, disconnect the appliance
by unplugging the power cable from the electric outlet.
18. Always disconnect the power supply of the appliance when you intend to adjust the slice thickness or
remove the blade.
19. Allow the rotating blade to come to a full stop before removing the food.
20. The blade is very sharp! Be very careful when handling the blade (e.g. removal, cleaning).
21. If the sliced food begins to get caught on the blade, switch o the appliance and clean the blade.
22. Use the appliance only for the purposes described in these instructions. The manufacturer is not liable
for damages caused by the improper use of this appliance and accessories.
23. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and power supply away from children.
The appliance can be used by the physically and mentally impaired or by individuals with insu cient
experience and knowledge, if supervised or trained to use the appliance in a safe manner and understand
potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance.

INSTRUCTIONS
The slicer is intended for slicing the common household amount of food and short-term operation. The
slicing duration should not exceed 10 minutes.
1. Before plugging in the power cord, make sure the on/o switch is o .
2. Turn the control (3) to set the desired slice thickness. Lower numbers represent a thinner slice.
3. Place the food to be sliced on the sliding tray and press (1) to activate the slicer.
4. Rest the food on the back side of the tray and begin to slice.
5. Do not push excessively against the blade. With smooth movements, slide the tray back and forth. The
forward movement (slicing) should last 2 to 3 seconds, the backward movement shall last at least the
same, in any case 3 seconds at the very least.
6. Where possible, with respect to the size and shape of the food, always use the safety push guard.
7. After slicing the food, switch o and unplug the device.
ATTENTION! The cutting blade can continue rotating for a short while after turning the device o . Do
not touch the cutting blade your hands!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the device
To prevent damaging electric components, do not immerse the device into water.
Before cleaning, always unplug the slicer and set the slice thickness control to position 0.
To prevent damaging the  nish of the appliance, do not use abrasive agents for cleaning.
Cleaning the slicing blade
ATTENTION! The slicing blade is very sharp. Be very careful when cleaning, risk of serious injury. Do
not touch the blade when handling the slicing blade!
The slicing blade can be cleaned with a slightly moistened towel.
The area behind the blade occasionally requires cleaning as well. To access this
area, unscrew the centre blade screw with a coin or similar object. Turn clockwise
as the arrow on the screw indicates.
Be very careful when removing the blade. Pay attention to the blade when
cleaning the area behind the slicing blade.
After cleaning the blade, proceed in reverse order to return the blade to its place.
Tighten the screw only slightly, there is no need to tighten with brute force.
Apply the procedure above also when replacing the blade.
Storage
The sharp slicing blade can cause injury. Keep the device away from children.
Set the slice thickness control to position 0.
