When the equipment is installed in a cabinet or on

sides to allow for ventilation (10 cm (3-15/16") or
more on both sides on top and at the rear).

inserting an SD Card
Insert a commercially available SD card before recording. (GZ-HM30)
When acommercially available SD card is inserted, recordings can still be made to the card without
stopping when the remaining recording time on the built-in memory runs out. (GZ-HM50)

Backing Up All Files
Before making backup, make sure that there
is enough free space in the PC's HDD.
Close the LCD monitor to turn off the
camcorder. Disconnect the power supply.
To select/move cursor towards up/left
or down/right, press the button UP/< or
DOWN/>.
l e The provided software Everio
MediaBrowser starts up on the PC.
The subsequent operations are to be
performed on the PC.
Select the volume.
Open the LCD monitor.
Connect the USB cable and the AC
adapter.
Be sure to use the supplied AC adapter.

After backup is complete, click "OK".
