SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
- Always read the manual prior to using the equipment and keep it in a place where everyone can read it.
- For indoor use only. Keep away from humidity.
- Keep the packaging so that you can transport the equipment safely.
- If the plug and/or cable and/or cable input of the equipment is damaged it must be repaired by a
professional.
- Always unplug the unit during a thunderstorm, and also when the equipment is not being used for a
longer period of time.
- When unplugging the unit, always pull the plug, never the lead.
- Never use the appliance close to heat sources and/or in direct sunlight.
- Make sure that no small objects or liquids can get in to the appliance.
- Only clean the appliance with a slightly moist dust-free cloth. Do not use cleaning products or
solutions!
- The appliance contains no user replaceable parts. All repairs must be carried out by a qualified
technician.
- If the appliance is defective, it must be repaired by a qualified technician.
- Keep the equipment out of the reach of children.
Do not attempt to repair the equipment yourself or make any changes of any kind; this will invalidate the
guarantee. The guarantee is not applicable if accidents and damages of any form are caused as a result of
improper use and/or disrespect of the warnings in general contained in this manual. The manufacturer cannot be
held responsible for any personal injuries, damages and losses of any form as a consequence of not following
the safety instructions and warnings.
Operation:
The black light tube contains a built-in starter and ballast and can be switched via the switch on the side. Under
normal use, the UV light is harmless. However it is recommended not to stare continuously into the light source.
Warning
The UV light tube is NOT suitable for children! Do not touch the bulb or replace it when in use.
Replacement of the tube
First switch off the appliance before replacing the tube. Fit a new UV black light tube with the correct capacity and
click it securely into position by twisting it a quarter turn to the left or right. The defective lighting tube must be
disposed of as small chemical waste.
If a problem occurs :
- Check if the tube is blown and replace it if necessary.
- Check the fitting of the light tube.

Electric products must not be put into household waste. Please bring them to a recycling centre.
Ask your local authorities or your dealer about the way to proceed.
