WARNING: Due to the extreme heat capabilities of this comb, care should
be taken when using. Do not allow hot comb to contact skin areas. Do not
touch hot comb with fingertips
IMPORTANT: This comb has been coated with a special oil to temper the
metal and protect it during shipping. When heating for the first time,
preheat iron 4 to 5 minutes. You will notice some smoke and a slight odor.
This is normal and will quickly disappear.
TO USE: Insert comb into heater stove and heat for 1 to 3 minutes. For a
complete styling, hair should be clean, dry and free from dirt, hair spray,
creams etc.
CAUTION: After initial heating to remove oil, do not allow comb to heat for
more than 3 minutes. The extreme heat may damage hair. If comb is heated
for more than 3 minutes, do not use; remove and let it cool. (Time may vary
due to number of irons heated at one time. Test comb on a small section of
hair before using.)
STYLING: This comb is designed for straightening hair. Start by sectioning
hair into strands of not more than 1 inch deep and 2 inches wide. Taking
one section at a time, not touching scalp, slowly and evenly move comb
through hair toward the ends.
