Introduction

The BE1188 Electronic Powder Scale features a

100g capacity, an accuracy of 0.001g, and multiple

functions including calibration, background light,

zero tracker, and unit weight conversion. The

Powder Scale operates on 6 AAA battery power

(not included) or 120V AC.

Prior to operation, ensure Powder Scale is placed

on a level, stable platform away from vibration,

strong airflow, fluorescent lights, thermal radiation,

and electromagnetic fields. Adjust the foot pads

so the scale is stable and the bubble in the bull's

eye level is centered. Working temperature is

32°F–104°F. Only operate scale in accordance

with these instructions.

TURN ON: Remove any load from the scale pan.

Turn on the power switch, "999999" ~ "000000"

will display. When "0.000" appears, the scale is

ready for operation.

Procedure

Background Light Function: Press "UNIT" and

hold for 3 seconds. Press "TARE" until display

reads "F1". Enter background light setting: Press

"PCS" to select 0–Turn off, 1–Turn on once

loaded, 2–Turn on all the time.

Zero Tracking Function: Selects display

resolution. Press "UNIT" and hold for 3 seconds.

Press "TARE" until display reads "F2". Press

"PCS" to select from 0, 1–0.5d, 2–1d, 3–1.5d,

4–2d.

Filtering Parameters: Press "UNIT" and hold

for 3 seconds. Press "TARE" until display reads

"F3". Press "PCS" to select. Press "TARE" again

to exit.

Unit Function: Press "UNIT" to select units: g, ct,

gn, dwt, oz, ozt.

Setting Functions

CALIBRATION: Before calibration, turn scale on

and wait at least 5 minutes for scale to stabilize.

Press "TARE" to set to zero. Press and hold

"UNIT" for 3 seconds. "F0" will display. Press

"PCS". "LOAD" and "100g" will alternately flash.

Set the 100g weight on the scale. After stable

(about 5-6 seconds), 100.000 will display.

OVERLOAD: If overloaded, "HHHHHH" will

display.

TARE: Press "TARE" to set to zero if necessary.

COUNTING: Place sample on scale pan. Sample

weight will display. Press "PCS" to select the

number of pieces, i.e.: "10PCS", "20PCS",

"50PCS", and "100PCS". To exit "PCS", press

"PCS" button until "PCS" selection does not

appear.
