How to Match Remote Handset to Receiver
for GV 60 Valve used on Madrona Stove
April 06
The Maxitrol GV 60 valve and Remote used on the Madrona Stove functions differently
from the GV 34 valve and remote used on our other products. Here are some of the key
differences:
The GV 60 allows you to light the pilot from the remote handset;
The GV 60 communicates using radio frequency rather than ultrasound as the GV 34;
The GV 60 allows two different temperature settings in the program mode;
The GV 60 allows you to match the remote handset to a specic receiver.
To match the handset to the receiver in situations where
there are multiple units in the same vicinity or where a
handset has been replaced, follow the instructions below.
Where there are multiple handsets, ip any combination of the 4 DIP switches
“up” or “down” using a sharp pen or tool to produce a unique combination for each
handset;
To match a handset to receiver, press and hold the receivers’ “reset” button until you
hear 2 acoustic signals. After the second longer acoustic signal, release the reset
button;
Within the next 20 seconds, press the ▼ (down arrow) on the remote handset until
you hear an additional long acoustic signal conrming the new code is set.
