How does my Circo know where it is?
Your Circo has a number of advanced radios and sensors to determine its location. Data
from these sensors are sent to Athentek’s cloud-based applications, where the estimates
are refined using highly-detailed maps which learn from the places your Circo goes.
Sometimes, if the radios are not able to make good measurements, then the accuracy of
Circo’s location may be lower. For example, if you’re indoors in a place that Circo does not
know well, then the self-learning algorithms may not work as well.
How does my Circo know when it has entered or left a Safe Zone?
The Host of a Circo device sets places as “Safe Zones.” When Circo senses that its entering
a Safe Zone, a notification is sent to all of its Followers; the same thing happens when Circo
leaves a Safe Zone.
Due to cellular network coverage, there might be a few moments delay before the
notification arrives to Circo’s Followers. This small delay is normal.
