TURNSPIT
This function allows rotating the food on the spit using the the residual heat inside the oven.
GRILL + TURNSPIT
This type of cooking is ideal for browning food. Leave the oven door open and position the deflector.
In this position, the grill and turnspit are activated.
CENTRAL GRILL
This type of cooking is ideal for rapidly browning food. Leave the oven door open and position the
deflector.
Open the oven door fully.
Gently press the thermostat knob and turn it anti-clockwise to the maximum position.
Press the thermostat knob right in to light the oven and hold it for a few seconds to activate the
safety thermocouple.
Check for oven burner ignition through the slots in front of the oven plate and make sure that the

that the burner is operating correctly with the door closed.
Turn the knob to the desired temperature.
Place the food to be cooked inside the oven.
N.B.
- If your oven does not light or is not provided with electric ignition, proceed as follows:
Ignite the burner with a match or a gas igniter at the central ignition slot at the front of the oven
base.
- The oven burner is equipped with a safety valve that cuts off the gas supply:
if the thermostat knob is turned accidentally and gas is supplied to the oven burner
if the burner flame accidentally goes out
if there is no gas supply.
- The thermostat is equipped with a locking device to prevent the burner from going out when the
oven temperature is changed from maximum to minimum. To switch off the burner when it is set to
the minimum position, gently press the knob and rotate it until the mark on the knob is aligned with
the mark on the panel (•).
Useful cooking tips
For optimum cooking results, pre-heat the oven to the desired temperature before placing the food
inside.
Pre-heating is not necessary for cooking particularly fatty food.
For cooking frozen meat, it is advisable to set the temperature 20°C lower than the normal cooking
temperature and to increase the cooking time by approximately 15 minutes.
