PROCEDURE

Insert Wide Range

pH Octa-Slide 2

Bar (2193-01) or

(2196-01) or Cresol

Red Salt Water

Octa-Slide 2 Bar

(2165-02) into the

Octa-Slide 2 Viewer

(1101).

Fill a test tube

(0106) to the

10 mL line with

sample water.

Add 10 drops

of *Wide Range

pH Indicator

(2218) or 8 drops

of Cresol Red

Indicator (2212).

Cap and mix.

Insert test

tube into

Octa-Slide

2 Viewer

(1101).

Hold the Viewer

so that non-

direct light

enters through

the back.

Match sample

color to a color

standard.

Record as pH.
