There are two types of precautions: Warning and ‘’Caution, and meanings of symbols
used in this manual are as shown below.
This sign is designed to draw attention to items and manipulations that may cause danger.
To prevent injury to the user or other people and property damage, the following
instructions must be followed.

Failure to observe these instructions may result in serious injury

Caution
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must
not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit
that is regularly switched on and o by the utility.
a POWER ON: Touch the POWER button briey.
LEDs are turned on with beep sound.
The unit operates in [AUTO] fan speed when it is
initial operation.
b POWER OFF: Touch the POWER button
briey when operating.
LEDs are turned o with beep sound.
If the air lter has not been installed, it sounds
a beep sound. Please touch the power button
again after air lter installation.
Caution
Do not apply too much force when touching a button. It may cause malfunction.
Make sure that air lter is assembled completely and correctly before turning on the unit.
Notice
POWER button does not work if button lock function is enabled. Try again after disabling lock
function.

Selecting fan speed
Selecting fan speed
Press FAN SPEED button to select the preferred fan speed. The unit oers [Sleep], [Low],
[Hi (High)], [Turbo] and [Auto] speeds.
a Touch the POWER button briey.
The unit operates in [Auto] mode or lately operated mode.
c Touch the FAN SPEED button repeatedly to
select the desired fan speed.
Sleep : The unit will operate quietly at minimal
fan speed.
Low : The unit operates relatively low noise mode,
which works with low pan speed.
Hi (High) : The unit operates at high fan speed.
Select this option when the air condition is
relatively bad.
Turbo : The unit operates at maximum fan speed.
Select this option when air condition is bad.
Auto : The fan speed is automatically switched
depending on the amount of impurities and odor
level.
Notice
For safety reasons, [Turbo] mode will be automatically changed to [Hi] mode after 90 minutes .
When you select the [Auto] fan speed mode, the unit detects impurities for ecient air
purication and switches the fan speed.
Fan speed switching conditions in [Auto] fan speed mode are depending on the amount of
impurities and odor level as below.
[Auto (Dual)] mode : The unit analyze impurities and odor level selects an optimal fan speed.

Press LIGHTING button to turn on or o LED light. The unit check the air conditions using
dust sensor and odor sensor and indicates the current air condition by changing lighting
color.
a Touch and hold the FAN SPEED/LIGHTING
button for 3 seconds when operating.
The LED light is turned on and indicates amount
of impurities in the air with lighting color.
Notice
Lighting color indicates the amount of impurities and odor level as table below. Lighting color
follows more bad condition between Impurities and odor level.

Setting child lock
You can lock the button operations to prevent misuse, malfunction by children.
a Touch and hold the TIMER button for more
than 3 seconds to enable child lock function.
Every button operation except TIMER button will
be restricted with beep sound.
This function is available even when the unit is
turned o.
b Touch and hold the TIMER button for
more than 3 seconds to disable child lock
function.
The child lock function is disabled with beep
sound.
Setting timer
You can set timer to turn o the unit after time you have set.
a Touch the TIMER button when operating.
'1h' appears on the display.
b Press the TIMER button repeatedly to select
the preferred time.

The unit is turned o after time you have set.

Cleaning upper air outlet

Unplug the power cord when you doing maintenance such as parts replacement, cleaning, repair,
etc.
Notice
Cleaning cycle may dier depending on the room environment, usage, and location of the unit.
Cleaning upper air outlet (every week)
a Remove the two air outlet parts as shown in
the gure.
b Wash the air outlet parts in the running
water.
Dry air outlet parts with a dried cloth and put it in
the shade until completely dried.
c Clean the upper air outlet using soft cloth or
cotton swap.
d Assemble the air outlet parts in reverse
order of disassembling.

Cleaning main unit | Cleaning sensor
Cleaning main unit (every 2-4 weeks)
a Clean the surface of the main unit using a
soft cloth dampened with warm water.
b If there is a part having diculties to clean
with soft cloth, use the cotton swab or tooth
brush.
Notice
Do not use detergents. Detergent ingredients may damage the unit.
Do not use volatile uids such as benzene, thinner polishing powder. Those may damage the
surface.
Be careful not to let water inside the product.
Cleaning sensor (every month)
a Grab handles of the lter cover and
pull outside to disassemble the lter
cover.
b Using a cotton swap, wipe the lens
of dust sensor carefully.
The lens is located on the left side of the
inner end.
c Assemble the lter cover in reverse
order of disassembling.
Notice
Nerver use alcohol, thinner, detergent, etc. other than water when cleaning the lens. (This may
cause lens deterioration.)

pull outside to remove the lter
cover.
b Move the lter lever to the 'OPEN'
position.
Be careful of injuries such as ngers and
nails.

d Clean the lter using a soft brush or
vacuum cleaner.
Avoid water for lter.
e Assemble the lter cover in reverse
order of removing, and then move
the lter lever to the 'CLOSE'
position.
f Locate the bottom part of the lter
cover as shown in the gure, and
push the handle to assemble.

Replacing air lter (every year)
a Turn o the power, plug connected.
b Remove the lter cover from the main unit.
c Remove the air lter. Then touch and hold
the TIMER button for more than 3 seconds.
Replacement indication is reset with beep
sound.
d Insert a new air lter. Then assemble the
lter cover.
Notice
Filter lifespan varies depending on the room environment, frequency of use and location of the unit.
Use the Moneual genuine lter for optimum performance. Contact service center or where you
purchase the unit to purchase a new lter.
