NOTE: Before cutting holes, make sure that there is adequate clearance under the counter for the
motor. The motor will extend about 5-2/3" (14.4 cm) below the counter but it is best to allow at least
10" (25.4 cm) from the under-counter to shelves or any other equipment under the counter.
After cutting the hole and before installing the unit, install the enclosed foam gasket. Follow
the instructions provided: Vita-Mix Touch and Go Blending Station In-Counter Gasket Installation
(Form XTG000)
The (On/Off) power switch will be located under the counter when the machine is installed. Run a
multiple power outlet with easy access to turn unit(s) on or off. Or leave the power on.
IMPORTANT: The area below the counter must have adequate ventilation to provide air
circulation around each motor. This will prolong the life of your Blending Station. If storing
powders, mixes, sugars, etc. make sure containers are tightly sealed. The intake and exhaust
air, caused by the Blending Station, will pick up and disperse any loose products within the
cabinet and unit.
If installing unit into a closed cabinet, including cabinets with a curtain or extended skirt, a
4” dia. (10.1 cm) flexible vinyl duct (dryer hose) must be used to vent exhaust. Attach the vinyl
duct to the bottom exhaust by forcing the end of the hose over the bell mouth of the unit. Run the
vinyl duct out of the cabinet for proper ventilation. Do not vent hose into a wall, ceiling, or a
concealed space of a building. Closed cabinet doors must be propped open about 1” (2.54 cm) to
allow the intake of fresh air. Multiple In-Counter units should not vent to a common manifold unit
but to separate places with separate vent ducts.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• 120 VAC
• 50/60 Hz
• 11.2 amps
All Blending Stations are built using
a U.S. 3-prong grounded cord and
require one 20 amp outlet per
machine.

as possible.
•6” from counter hole to rear wall for cover
door clearance.
**An extra 6.5” (16.5 cm) of open space above the top of the cover will be
needed for removal of the machine to install any custom programming.
Carefully tear at perforation to separate! Keep for your records.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
Place Blenders 12” (30.48 cm) away from each
other. The distance of 12” (30.48 cm) is measured
from one edge of the blender to another. If 12”
(30.48 cm) spacings are not possible, then space
them as far apart as possible and strictly follow
venting procedures.
1
Make sure the vent hose is securely placed over the
machines exhaust. Also make sure the vent hose is
pulled taut and extends to the end of the cabinet.
This is will properly eject hot exhaust air and prevent
recirculation.
2
If the machine cannot be vented out the front of the
cabinet. (See photo 1 and 2) Run the vent hose
through side wall of the cabinet, keeping the length
of the vent hose under 5’ (1.52 meters) if at all
possible.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT vent the machine into
a wall or closed space.
3
Even if the machine is vented to the outside of the
cabinet, the cabinet door should be propped open.
When venting the machine do not vent the machine
into a closed space such as a wall; make sure the
vent is free and clear of obstructions.
4
DO NOT let the vent hose hang freely inside the
cabinet even if the cabinet is open. Be sure to
stretch the vent hose taut to the edge of the cabinet
area and direct the vent end away from the cabinet.
