Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING: When using product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this product!
1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Check for damaged parts. Before using any product, any part that appears damaged should
be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function.
Check for any broken or damaged parts and any other conditions that may affect its operation.
Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
3. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
Use of any other parts will void the warranty.
4. Always check hardware and assembled parts after assembling. All connections should be
tight and hardware tightened.
5. Keep children away. Children must never play with the Vacuum Vise.
6. Store idle equipment. When not in use always lock up the Vise and keep it out of the reach of
children.
7. Dress properly. Gloves are recommended when using the Vise. Wear restrictive hair covering
to contain long hair.
8. Use eye protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles when using this
product.
9. Maintain products with care. Keep the Vise in a dry location.
10. Use the right Vise for the job. There are certain applications for which this Vise was
designed. Do not modify this Vise and do not use this Vise for a purpose for which it
was not intended.
11. If struck by a striking tool, the jaws may chip, and possibly result in eye or bodily injury.
Always check the Vise before using it. Always replace the jaws if they are damaged.

12. Do not use the Vise if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read warning labels on
prescriptions to determine if your judgement or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If
there is any doubt, do not assemble or use the Vise.
13. Do not rely only on the vacuum to hold the Vise in place-see additional warning in the
Assembly/Operation section. Make certain the Vise is used on a smooth clean surface free
of dust and debris to allow for adequate suction and a solid seal. Never lean on or apply added
weight to the vise. Always be aware of possible failure of the vacuum seal holding the vise in
place.
WARNING: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot
cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by
the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into
this product, but must be supplied by the operator.

Vacuum Vise. Before assembling the Vacuum Vise be sure that you have all parts described in the
Parts List and Assembly Diagram located on the last pages of this manual.

the workpiece and any accessories used.
Grasp the Lever (2), lift and turn it
counterclockwise. Make certain that the vacuum seal is securely holding the Vise in place.

conditions. The operator must use common sense and use additional clamping devices
(such as C-Clamps-not included) if conditions warrant.

Stop Screw (5), tighten it down by turning clockwise.
3. To open the Movable Jaw (9), turn the Adjustment Knob (14) counterclockwise until the jaws
