1. INTRODUCTION
This addendum brings information about the APW11 inverters, which are composed by standard
CFW-11 models of frame sizes E, F and G, mounted in self-portable cabinets. This document only presents
the differences compared to the standard product with IP20 protection degree. The other information
about the IP20 standard models presented in the user's manuals is also valid for APW11 models.
Inverters of the APW11 line can be supplied as completely mounted products, with disconnect switch
and fuses, or as assembling kits without the CFW-11 inverter, the disconnect switch and the fuses.

Notes:
- The APW11 smart code follows the structure of the CFW-11 smart code.
- The model prefix refers to the market, being BR (Brazil), EU (Europe), MS (Mercosul), NA (North America) and SA (South Africa).
- The end of the code defines whether the product is standard (SZ) or with options. The available APW11 options are:
- Dynamic Braking (DB) – available only for the frame size E;
- Safety Stop (Y) – Available for all the frame sizes;
- 24 Vdc External Control Power Supply (W) – Available for all the frame sizes.
- Example: EUAPW110242T4SZ.
NOTE!
- The current and switching frequency values, as well as other data informed in the user's
manuals are valid, except for the APW11 surrounding environment temperature, which is
presented in the section 3.1.1 of this addendum.

3. INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION
3.1 Mechanical Installation
3.1.1 Environmental Conditions
Temperature:
-10 °C (14 °F) to 40 °C (104 °F). It is possible to operate this inverter in environments with surrounding
air temperature up to 50 °C (122 °F) if a current derating of 2 % for each °C above 40 °C (104 °F).
This current reduction is valid for all the switching frequencies.

3.2 Electrical Installation
ATTENTION!
The RSW disconnect switches that equip the BRAPW110242T4SZ …BRAPW110601T4SZ
models cannot be operated with load.
The power supply cables must be connected directly to the disconnect switch.
