5V-HPK - Hardwired Power Adapter

for Satellite Radio Receivers

The 5V-HPK is designed to work with any SIRIUS, XM or SiriusXM™ Dock and Play receiver. The kit is

packaged with 2 interchangeable cables that allow you to use the same power adapter with a legacy

receiver or a new PowerConnect™ SiriusXM™ receiver.

Step 3) Connect the adapter to power and ground in the vehicle. Wire the red wire (posive) to the

vehicle power and the black wire (negave) to a ground on the vehicle.

Note: If you experience “engine noise” when you press the gas pedal you may need to wire to a

beer grounding locaon.

Step 1) Select the cable that matches up with the satellite radio receiver. Typically PowerConnect™

docking cradles have a red circle around the power port or the words PWR in red.

Step 2) Connect the cable with the male connector on the power adapter as shown below.
