CAUTION!
Burn hazard!
Hot surface!
Parts of this appliance become very hot during
operation. Improper handling may lead to serious injuries.
After the sealing process and opening the lid ap, never come
into contact with the heating element 15 and the pressing bar
12 , to avoid burns.
Prior to initial use, please perform 1 to 2 sealing cycles. Slight
odours and slight smoke development are normal and will
disappear after a short time. Nevertheless, ensure that there is
suffi cient ventilation (e.g. by opening a window).
Consecutive vacuuming/sealing processes are only possible after
a programmed pause of approx. 10 seconds. After 10 consecutive
processes, a 10-minute cool-down break is programmed. During
this time, the device cannot be started.
You can order the original lm from the service address provided
on the guarantee card.

Prepare fi lm
Please note that welding seams, which are applied with the
vacuum sealer do not cross. The open sides to be sealed
must be located opposite each other and not adjacent. Do not cut
off welded seams that are already on the fi lm.
1. First, prepare the required number of bags.
For this, unroll a piece of lm from the lm roll and cut it with
appropriate scissors or cutting bar 7 to the required length.
Please note that due to the sealing, the usable length of
the bag will be slightly shorter than the piece that you
have cut off of the fi lm roll.
2. To use the cutting bar 7, fl ip it open as far as noticeable resist-
ance, see Fig. B.
If you move the cutting bar beyond the resistance, it will
be removed from the device. To reattach it to the device,
see Fig. D.
3. Position the fi lm over the vacuum sealer.
4. Snap shut the cutting bar, let it lock in on the right and slide the
blade button 1 to the left or right, if necessary, into the limit
stop.
If the blade button is not outside of the area of the lm,
no cutting will occur during the cutting process.
5. Press the blade head 1 slightly downwards onto the fi lm,
while sliding it onto the opposite side.
Use
19
Use
Only seal fi lm
1. If necessary, press the release buttons 9 at the same time and
ip open the lid fl ap 2.
2. Position an open side of the lm above the heating element 15 ,
as shown in Fig. C.
As vacuum-sealing will not occur, the end of the lm does
not need to be positioned as far as the fi lm limit stops 11 . It
is suffi cient for the lm to be positioned approx. 1 cm over the
heating element.
3. Flip open the lid ap 2. In doing so, ensure that the fi lm does
not have any folds on the heating element.
4. Press down the lid ap on both sides and at the same time on
the points marked with the hand symbol until both locking
mechanisms audibly lock in.
5. Connect the power plug to the power supply.
6. Press the Seal sealing button 3.
The indicator lamp of the button lights up red during the
sealing process, then it ashes 3 x after the process and sub-
sequently goes out. With this, the sealing process is completed.
With the Stop button 6, the sealing process can also be ended
early.
7. Unlock the release buttons 9 by pressing the lid ap on both
sides and at the same time.
8. Flip open lid fl ap 2.
CAUTION!
Burn hazard!
Hot surface!
The heating element and the pressing bar are
very hot after the sealing process.

Use
Vacuum and seal fi lm
WARNING!
Electric shock hazard!
Liquids (e.g. soup, sauce, meat juice) should not be vacuum-
sealed into the bag. Liquids will be sucked in an end up in the
device. If this should happen, disconnect the power plug and
do not use the device.
Have the device inspected by a qualifi ed engineer or the Ser-
vice Centre.
The fi lm on the roll is tubular, i.e. in order to obtain a closed
bag, the hose must be sealed at both ends.
2 types of vacuuming can be performed with the device, which
are identical in terms of the operating procedure:
With the Soft vacuuming button 4: The sealing process starts
shortly after the start of vacuuming. This prevents sensitive
foods (e.g. vegetables) being crushed. The vacuuming process
will subsequently be briefl y continued without any impact on
the fi lm content, in order to reach switch-off negative pressure.
With the Normal vacuuming button 5: The sealing process
will occur shortly before reaching the switch-off negative pres-
sure. This way, a higher vacuum will be achieved in the bag.
Ensure that the collection tray for liquid 16 is used. If some
liquid escapes during the vacuuming process, it will be col-
lected by the tray. Check the collection tray after every vacuuming
process and remove the moisture residues.
21
Use
1. Fill the bags that are sealed on one side.
In contrast to only sealing”, the lm must be applied as
far as the fi lm limit stops 11, see Fig. C.
Make sure that the fi lm is not covering the suction opening 17 .
3. Flip down the lid fl ap 2. In doing so, ensure that the fi lm does
not have any folds on the heating element.
4. Press down the lid ap on both sides and at the same time on
the points marked with the hand symbol 8 until both locking
mechanisms audibly lock in.
5. Connect the power plug to the power supply.
6. Press the Soft 4 vacuuming button or the Normal 5 vacu-
uming button.
The indicator lamp for the button will light up during the
vacuuming process. After a short time, the welding pro-
cess will occur and indicated by the Seal button 3 lighting up.
Both buttons fl ash 3 x after the process is completed.
With the Stop button 6, the process can also be ended early.
7. Press the release buttons 9 on both sides at the same time, in
order to release the lid fl ap 2.
8. Flip open lid fl ap.
CAUTION!
Burn hazard!
Hot surface!
The heating element 15 and the pressing bar
12 are very hot after the sealing process.

For cleaning the surfaces, only use a dampened soft cloth with a
small amount of washing-up liquid. Never use scouring agents
or scratching brushes and sponges.
Never clean the surfaces with alcohol, petrol or similar fl uids.
Clean the collection tray for liquids 16 in warm water contain-

NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the article can result in damage.
When not using the lid ap, do not lock it in, just fold it down.
This way, damage to the seals is avoided.
Wind the power cable around the cable winder in the cable
compartment 10 (base).
Only store the article in a child-safe, clean, dry place.
The bottom and top seal 13 can be removed for easier
cleaning. You can clean the seals in warm water containing
