The operating instructions are a part of this product. They con-
tain important information about safety, use and disposal. Before
using the product, familiarize yourself with all operating and
safety instructions. Use this product only as described and only
for the specified areas of application. Please also pass these
operating instructions on to any future owner(s).

The following warning types are used in these operating instructions:
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you to
potential injury hazards. Obey all safety messages that
follow this symbol to avoid possible injury and death.
DANGER indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoid-
ed, will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoid-
ed, could result in minor or moderate injury.

Safety instructions
This section contains important safety instructions for using the
appliance. This appliance complies with statutory safety regu-
lations. Improper use may result in personal injury and material
damage.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
2. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord,
plugs or the appliance in water or other liquid.
3. This appliance should not be used by children and care
should be taken when used near children.
4. Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use, before
attaching or removing parts, and before cleaning.
Allow the appliance to cool and unplug it before attaching
or removing parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
5. Avoid contact with moving parts.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug
or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged
in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair or electrical/mechanical
adjustment.
7. The use of attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to
persons.

10. Do not allow for the cord to come into contact with hot
surface, including the stove.
11. When mixing liquids, especially hot liquids, use a tall container
or process small quantities at a time to reduce spillage.
12. Keeps hands and utensils out of the container while blend-
ing to prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons or
damage to the unit. A scraper may be used but only when
the unit is not running.
13. Blades are sharp. Handle with caution.
14. Keep hands and utensils away from the cutting blade while
chopping food to avoid the risk of severe injury to persons
or damage to the food chopper. A scraper may be used but
only when the food chopper is not running.
15. To reduce risk of injury, never place cutting blade on base
without first putting bowl properly in place.
16. Never add to container while appliance is operating.
17. Container must be properly in place before operating
appliance.
18. Make sure that the cover of the chopper is securely locked
in place before operating appliance.
19. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
20. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
21. To disconnect the appliance, turn all controls to off, then
remove plug from wall outlet.
22. Do not use appliance for anything other than the intended
use.

23. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
24. This appliance is for household use only.
25. This hand mixer is the multipurpose appliance, blender
create maximum rating. Other recommended attachments
my draw significantly less power.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Do not expose the appliance to humidity or use it outdoors.
Never immerse the hand blender’s motor unit in liquids,
or allow liquids to get into the motor unit housing.
If any liquid gets into the housing, unplug the appliance imme-
diately and have it repaired by a qualified technician.
Do not attempt to open the hand blender’s motor casing.
This is unsafe and invalidates the warranty.
Unplug the appliance if it malfunctions and before cleaning it.
Before changing any accessories or additional parts that
move during operation, the appliance must be switched off
and unplugged.
Always unplug the appliance,...
when the appliance is unsupervised,
when you are cleaning the appliance,
when you are assembling or dismantling it.
This appliance should not be used by children.
Children must not play with the appliance.
The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away
from children.

care.

This product contains chemicals known to the State of Califor-
nia to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive
harm.
Important cord information
This appliance has a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, there is only one way
this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet. If the plug does
not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord)
should be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extensions cords are
available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is
used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance;

2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape
over the countertop or table where it can be pulled on
by children or tripped over unintentionally; and
3) If the appliance has a grounded plug, the cord set or
extension cord should also be a grounded 3-wire cord.
Arrange for damaged power cords and/or plugs
to be replaced as soon as possible by a qualified
specialist or by customer service.
Proper use
This appliance is only intended for kneading dough, mixing liquids
(e.g. fruit juice), whipping cream and pureeing fruit. It is only
suitable for processing food. Do not use the mixer to purée boiling
food (e.g. soups). This appliance is only intended for use in do-
mestic households. Not to be used for commercial purposes.

CO time
The CO time (continuous operation time) is the amount of time an
appliance can be operated without the motor overheating and
becoming damaged. After the appliance has been operated for
this duration of time, turn it off until the motor has cooled down.
Unpacking
Remove all components from the packaging.
Remove all packaging materials and transport restraints.
Check that all of the items listed are present and undamaged.
Clean all of the components as described in the "Cleaning"
section.

Only usable in combination with the turbo button 3.
0 Appliance is turned off.
1Good starting speed for mixing "soft" ingredients such
as flour, butter, etc.
2 For blending liquid ingredients.
3 For mixing cake and bread doughs.
4 For whipping butter, sugar, for desserts etc.
5 For beating meringue, icing, whipped cream, etc.
Turbo button 3: This button allows you to switch the appliance
to full power immediately.

Operation
Kneading and whisking
Never use containers made from glass or other easily breakable
materials. These containers may be damaged and cause injuries.
Do not operate the mixer continuously for longer than 10
minutes. After 10 minutes, take a break in order to allow the
appliance to cool down.
The measuring cup q can be used to measure up to 28 oz
of liquid.
Do not fill the measuring cup q to more than the maximum
fill level of 12 oz when processing food, otherwise liquids
could overflow/splash.
Place the attachments inside the food to be beaten/ whisked/
kneaded before turning on the appliance.
1) Clean the attachments (8, 9) before using them for the first
time.

batter or whipping
cream.
Blender 0 for blending
fruits / vegetables, e.g.
apples.
2) Push the whisks 8 or the kneading hooks 9 into the slots 7
until they click audibly into place and are secure.

Always insert the kneading hook 9 or the whisk 8
without the ring into the intended slot on the appli-
ance (labeled with an icon).

3) Insert the plug 4 into a power socket.
4) To start operating the appliance, move the speed switch 2 to
the desired speed setting. You can select between 5 speed
settings and also use the Turbo button 3 (see “Speed levels”
section).
5) Press the tool release button 1 to release the whisks 8 or
the kneading hooks 9.
For safety reasons, the whisks 8 and kneading hooks 9 can
only be released if the speed switch 2 is set to position "0".
Pureeing
Never use containers made from glass or other easily breakable
materials. These containers may be damaged and cause injuries.
Never use the blender 0 for hard food items such as: coffee
beans, ice cubes, sugar, cereals, chocolate, raw/hard vegeta-
bles etc. This could result in serious damage to the appliance.
Do not use blender 0 to purée boiling food (e.g. soups).
Remove the pot from the hotplate before puréeing.
1) Open the fixture with the safety cover 5 and hold the safety
cover firmly.

The blender 0 can only be used if the whisks 8 or the
kneading hooks 9 are not attached.
2) Push the blender 0 into the fixture 5, push it down and
tighten it by turning it firmly several times in the direction of
the arrow .
3) To avoid overflowing, the container used for blending should
only be filled to about 2/3 of its capacity. Select a suitably
large container or use the supplied measuring cup q.
In order to ensure that the ingredients are properly mixed, the
food that is being processed should cover at least the lower
part of the blender 0.
Do not turn the hand mixer on until the blender 0 has been
inserted into the ingredients to be blended.
4) Move the speed switch 2 to the "Blender" setting (see
"Speed levels" section) and press the Turbo button 3. Keep
the Turbo button 3 pressed during the whole procedure.
The appliance stops as soon as it is released.
Do not operate the blender 0 continuously for longer than 1
minute. After one minute of use, allow the appliance to cool
down fully.
5) When you have finished working with the blender 0, move
the speed switch 2 back to the "0" position and disconnect
the plug 4 from the wall power socket.

Only clean the lower part of the blender 0 under running
water. Do not allow water to get inside the blender 0. This
could result in damage to the appliance.
6) To clean the blender 0, remove it from the fixture 5 by
turning it.
Cleaning
Always disconnect the plug 4 from the power socket before
cleaning the appliance! Risk of electric shock!
NEVER submerge the hand element 6 in water or
other liquids!
Proceed cautiously when cleaning the blender 0! The blade
is extremely sharp!
Never submerge the blender 0 completely
under water. If necessary, clean the lower part with the
blade under running water. Otherwise, the appliance
could be irreparably damaged.
Only clean the hand element 6 containing the motor with a
damp cloth and, if necessary, with a mild detergent.
The whisks 8 and the kneading hooks 9 can be cleaned
under running water or in warm water with detergent. Dry
everything well after cleaning.
We recommend cleaning the attachments directly after use.
This removes food residue and reduces the risk of bacterial
contamination.

Clean the lower part of the blender 0 in warm water with a
little detergent or under running water. Wipe the upper part
with a damp cloth. If necessary, add a little mild detergent
onto the cloth. Afterwards, wipe it with a cloth and water to
ensure that no detergent remains on the appliance.
Only clean the lower part of the blender 0 under running
water. Do not allow water to get inside the blender 0. This
could result in damage to the appliance.
Clean the measuring cup q in warm water containing a mild
detergent.
The measuring cup q, the whisks 8 and the kneading hooks
9 can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Storage
Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free and dry
location.
Disposal
Electrical devices may not be thrown away as part of normal
household trash. If you can no longer use your electrical device,
dispose of it in accordance with the legal provisions applicable
in your state. This will allow you to ensure that old electrical
devices are recycled and environmental pollution is kept to a
minimum. Further information about disposal is available on the
Internet at www.epa.gov.
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materi-
als which can be disposed at your local recycling centre.

Warranty
What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
Damage, breakage, or inoperability due to defect.
Damage not accounted by normal wear and tear or following
the safety and maintenance instructions provided in the user
manual.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts
(such as switches, glass, etc.);
Improper use or transport;
Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
Accidents or acts of nature (eg., lightening, fire, water, etc.).
Tampering with the product (such as removing cover, unscrew-
ing screws etc.)
What is the period of coverage and warranty
resolution?
The warranty is for 3 years from the date of purchase. At our
discretion, product will either be refunded or replaced.
What will we not do?
We will not:
Start a new warranty period upon product exchange;
We will not repair product.
