2. Intended purpose

The Smoothie-Mixer Pro is intended ...

… for mixing whole-fruit beverages

(smoothies) and chopping ice cubes.

For this purpose, use the blade as-

sembly with the cross blade7.

… for chopping solid foods (e.g. nuts).

For this purpose, use the blade as-

sembly with the flat blade8.

The device is designed for private, domestic

use. The device must only be used indoors.

This device must not be used for commercial

purposes.

must be removed before blending.

used in these operating instructions:

warning may result in minor injury or mate-

Instructions for safe operation

This device must not be used by children.

Children must not play with the device.

The device and the power cable must be kept away from children.

This device can be used by people with restricted physical, sensory

or intellectual abilities or people without adequate experience

and/or understanding if they are supervised or instructed on how

to use this device safely and if they are aware of the resulting risks.

If the mains power cable of this device should become damaged, it

must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's customer

service department or a similarly qualified specialist, in order to

avoid any hazards.

This device is not intended to be operated using an external timer

clock or a separate remote control system.

Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket …

… when it is not supervised,

… before you assemble or disassemble the device, and

… before you clean the device.

Clean the blade assemblies, the blender jugs, the rings and the lids

with warm water and a bit of detergent or in the dish washer.

The blades of the blade assembly are sharp. Please be very careful

when handling them.

DANGER for children

Children must not play with packing mate-

rial. Do not allow children to play with

plastic bags. There is a risk of suffocation.

~ Please ensure that children are not able

to pull the device down from the work

surface with the power cable.

~ Keep the device out of the reach of chil-

dren.

DANGER to and from pets

and livestock

~ Electrical devices can represent a haz-

ard to pets and livestock. In addition,

animals can also cause damage to the

device. For this reason you should keep

animals away from electrical devices at

all times.

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock due to moisture

~ The device must never be operated in

the vicinity of a bathtub, a shower, a

filled hand basin or similar.

~ The motor unit, the power cable and the

mains plug must not be immersed in wa-

ter or other liquids.

~ Protect the motor unit, the power cable

and the mains plug from dampness and

dripping or splashing water.

~ If liquid gets into the motor unit, remove

the mains plug immediately. Have the de-

vice checked before reusing.

~ Never touch the device with wet hands.

~ If the device falls into water, disconnect

the mains plug immediately. Only then

is it safe to retrieve the device.

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock

~ Only plug the mains plug into the wall

socket after the device has been com-

pletely assembled.

~ Only connect the mains plug to a prop-

erly installed and easily accessible wall

socket whose voltage corresponds to

the specifications on the rating plate.

The wall socket must continue to be eas-

ily accessible after the device is

plugged in.

~ Ensure that the power cable cannot be

damaged by sharp edges or hot points.

Do not wrap the power cable around

the device.

~ The device is not fully disconnected from

the power supply, even after it is

switched off. In order to fully disconnect

it, pull out the mains plug.

~ When using the device, ensure that the

power cable cannot be trapped or

crushed.

~ When removing the mains plug from the

wall socket, always pull the plug and

never the cable.

~ Disconnect the mains plug from the wall

socket …

… if there is a fault,

… when you are not using the smoothie

mixer,

… during thunderstorms.

~ Do not use the device if there is visible

damage to the device or the power ca-

ble.

~ To avoid any risk, do not make modifi-

cations to the device.

DANGER! Risk of injury

from cutting

~ The blades of the blade assembly carry

on rotating after the device has been

switched off. Wait until the blades have

come to a standstill before you remove

the blender jug.

~ The blades of the blade assembly are

sharp. Please be very careful when

handling them. When washing manual-

ly, the water should be sufficiently clear

that you can see the blades easily.

Under no circumstances should the de-

vice be operated without the blender jug.

WARNING! Risk of material

damage

~ Do not use the blade assembly with a

flat blade for liquids!

~ Thick or firm peels, (e.g. of citrus fruits,

pineapple), stems and pips of stone

fruits (e.g. cherries, peaches, apricots)

must be removed before blending.

~ Do not put any ingredients with a tem-

perature in excess of 85 °C into the

blender jug.

~ In order to prevent damage to the de-

vice, interrupt the blending process im-

mediately if the blades of the blade

assembly rotate with difficulty or not at

all. Pull out the mains plug and investi-

gate whether there is an obstruction in

the blender jug or whether the contents

are too viscous. Also check whether the

device is assembled correctly.

~ Do not operate the device with empty

blender jugs, as this causes the motor to

overheat and may result in it being

damaged.

Only operate the device when a blade as-

sembly is screwed onto the blender jug.

~ The device is designed for a maximum

operating time of 60 seconds without in-

terruption. After this, the device must re-

main switched off until it has cooled

down to room temperature.

~ Only use the original accessories.

~ The device (base unit, power cable with

mains plug) is not dishwasher-safe.

~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive

cleaning agents.

~ The device is fitted with non-slip plastic

bases. As furniture is coated with a

wide array of varnishes and synthetics,

and is also treated with different care

products, it cannot be fully ruled out that

some of these materials contain ingredi-

ents that could attack and soften the

non-slip plastic bases. If necessary,

place a non-slip mat under the device.

Unpacking

1. Remove all parts from the packaging.

2. Check that all parts are present and in-

tact.

5. How to use

• Remove all packing material.

• Check to ensure that all parts are pres-

ent and undamaged.

• Clean the device prior to its first

use! (see “Cleaning” on page 8)

• Unwind the desired length of cable from

the cable spool3 on the underside of

the device.

• Place the device on a dry, level, non-slip

surface.

6. Operation

smoothie mixer is completely assem-

bled.

~ Under no circumstances should the de-

vice be operated without the blender

jug5/6.

6.1 Uses

Use the blade assembly with a flat blade8

for chopping solid food (e. g. nuts).

NOTE:

with an operating time of approx.

8-10 seconds, use no more than 50 g when

chopping nuts.

6.2 Preparing food

WARNING! Risk of material damage!

~ Thick or firm peels, (e.g. of citrus fruits,

pineapple), stems and pips of stone

fruits (e.g. cherries, peaches, apricots)

must be removed before blending.

• Rinse or wash the fruits.

• Cut the fruit into rough pieces (approx.

3-4 cm edge length).

• For smoothies: use a sufficient amount

of liquid (mineral water, juice, milk, yo-

ghurt). We recommend a mixing ratio

of 1:1.

6.3 Mixing/Chopping

CAUTION: mind the marking MAX for the

maximum filling quantity.

NOTE: if the smoothie is too thick, add a lit-

tle mineral water, fruit juice, milk or yoghurt

to suit your taste.

1. Connect the mains plug4 with the wall

socket.

2. Place the fruit pieces and any other in-

gredients into the blender jug5/6 as

desired. Mind the marking MAX for

the maximum filling quantity.

Ensure that the blade assembly is tightly

screwed to the blender jug.

4. Figure B: turn the blender jug5/6

around and place it on the base unit1.

The small noses11 on the edge of the

blender jug fit into the recesses at the

head of the base unit1.

5. A slight clockwise turn of the blender

jug5/6 switches the device on.

Let the device run for no more than

60seconds.

6. A slight anticlockwise turn of the blend-

er jug5/6 switches the device off.

Wait until the blade7/8 has come to a

standstill.

7. Remove the blender jug5/6 from the

base unit1 and turn it around.

8. Unscrew the blade assembly7/8 and

ensure that the liquid drips into the

blender jug5/6.

9. Before using it again and if necessary,

rinse the blade assembly7/8 briefly

under running water.

10. Disconnect the mains plug4 from the

wall socket.

11. Clean the device as soon as possible

after use.

6.4 Drink immediately

• Figure C: in order to drink the fresh

smoothie directly from the blender

jug5/6, place the ring10 on the edge

of the blender jug5/6. This is more

pleasant because the thread of the

blender jug5/6 will thus not come in

contact with your lips. Both rings fit onto

all blender jugs5/6.

• Remove it by simply pulling the ring10

off upwards.

6.5 Storage

•

put the smoothie in the refrigerator. Both

• Remove the lid9 by unscrewing it.

6.6 Overheating protection

The device has an overheating protection

system. If the device has been in operation

for too long thus causing the device to be-

come too hot, it automatically switches off.

• In this case, pull out the mains plug and

allow the device to cool.

• You may then put the device back into

operation.

7. Cleaning

Clean the device prior to its first use!

DANGER! Risk of electric

~ Pull the mains plug4 out of the wall

socket before you clean the smoothie

maker.

~ The base unit1 and the power cable

with the mains plug4 must not be im-

mersed in water or other liquids.

DANGER! Risk of injury from

cutting!

~ When washing manually, the water

should be sufficiently clear for you to

see the blade assembly7/8 easily.

WARNING! Risk of material damage!

~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive

cleaning agents.

After every use

• Clean the device and all individual

parts used after each use and remove

all food residues.

• Prior to cleaning, all parts must be sepa-

rated (e.g. remove the ring10 from the

blender jug5/6).

Base unit

Wipe off the base unit1 and the power ca-

ble4, using a lightly moistened cloth. Dry

with a dry cloth.

Manual cleaning

1. The accessories (blade assemblies

blender jugs

, the lids

and

rings

) can be cleaned with warm

water and some detergent.

2. Afterwards, rinse all parts with clean

water.

3. Allow all parts to dry completely before

you put them away or use the device

again.

Dishwasher

The following parts can be cleaned in the

dishwasher:

- the blade assemblies7/8

- the blender jugs5/6

- the lids9 and

- the rings10

8. Storage

DANGER for children!

~ Keep the device out of the reach of chil-

dren.

DANGER!

~ In order to avoid accidents, the mains

plug4 must never be connected to a

wall socket while in storage.

side of the device.

• Select a location where neither high

temperatures nor moisture can affect the

device.

9. Disposal

The symbol showing a

wheelie bin crossed through

indicates that the product re-

quires separate refuse collec-

tion in the European Union.

This applies to the product

and all accessories marked with this symbol.

Products identified with this symbol may not

be discarded with normal household waste,

but must be taken to a collection point for re-

cycling electric and electronic appliances.

Recycling helps to reduce the consumption

of raw materials and protect the environ-

ment.

Packaging

When disposing of the packaging, make

sure you comply with the environmental reg-

ulations applicable in your country.

10. Troubleshooting

If your device fails to function as required,

please try this checklist first. Perhaps there is

only a minor problem, and you can solve it

yourself.

CAUTION: depending on the hardness

and consistency of the ingredients in the

blender jug5/6, do not fill it to the maxi-

mum; otherwise the blade assembly7/8

could become clogged.

Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 handful of fresh leaf spinach

½ mango

½ banana (peeled)

1 pineapple slice

Juice from ½ lime

200 ml water

2 ice cubes

• Put all ingredients into the blender

jug5/6 and mix until the desired con-

sistency is reached (max. 1 minute).

Tropical Smoothie

Ingredients:

100 g pineapple

½ banana (peeled)

1 kiwi (peeled)

100 ml orange juice

1 handful of spinach

• Put all ingredients into the blender

jug5/6 and mix until the desired con-

sistency is reached (max. 1 minute).

Eye-Openers

Ingredients:

1 banana (peeled)

½ mango

1 handful of leaf spinach

½ tsp oil (e.g. sunflower oil)

100 ml apple juice

100 ml water

• Put all ingredients into the blender

jug5/6 and mix until the desired con-

sistency is reached (max. 1 minute).

Honey Flip

Ingredients:

400 ml milk

4 cl black currant juice

2 tbs honey

2 egg yolks

2 ice cubes

• Put all ingredients into the blender

jug5/6 and mix until the desired con-

sistency is reached (max. 1 minute).

Strawberry Banana Shake

Ingredients:

1 banana (peeled)

150 g strawberries

1 packet of vanilla sugar

200 ml milk

• Put all ingredients into the blender

jug5/6 and mix until the desired con-

sistency is reached (max. 1 minute).

Berry Dream

Ingredients:

50 g blueberries

75 g raspberries

75 g strawberries

½ banana (peeled)

75 g natural yoghurt

1.5 tbs oatmeal

75 ml milk

Honey to taste

• Put all ingredients into the blender

jug5/6 and mix until the desired con-

sistency is reached (max. 1 minute).

Good Night Smoothie

Ingredients:

½ banana (peeled)

½ apple

1 tbs lemon juice

1 tbs honey

1 small handful of spinach

200 ml water

jug5/6 and mix until the desired con-

sistency is reached (max. 1 minute).

Mango Shake

Ingredients:

250 g mango

250 ml milk

• Put all ingredients into the blender

Raspberry Pear Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 ripe pear

150 g raspberries

200 ml water

Honey to taste

• Put all ingredients into the blender

jug5/6 and mix until the desired con-

sistency is reached (max. 1 minute).

Peach Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 banana (peeled)

2 peaches (peeled and cored)

100 ml grapefruit juice

1 squirt of lemon juice

• Put all ingredients into the blender

jug5/6 and mix until the desired con-

Dear Customer,

your device is provided with a 3 year war-

ranty starting with the purchase date. In the

event of product defects, you are entitled to

statutory rights against the vendor. These

statutory rights are not restricted by our war-

ranty presented in the following.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period starts with the purchase

date. Please keep the original purchase re-

ceipt in a safe place. This document is re-

quired to verify the purchase.

If within three years from the purchase date

of this product a material or factory defect

occurs, the product will be repaired or re-

placed by us – at our discretion – free of

charge to you. This warranty implies that

within the period of three years the defective

device and the purchase receipt are present-

ed, including a brief written description of

the defect and the time it occurred.

If the defect is covered by our warranty, the

repaired or a new product will be returned

to you. No new warranty period starts with

a repair or replacement of the product.

Warranty period and statutory

claims for defects

The warranty period is not extended when

the warranty has been claimed. This also ap-

plies to replaced and repaired parts. Any

damages and defects already existing at the

time of purchase must be reported immedi-

ately upon unpacking. Repairs arising after

the expiration of the warranty period are

subject to a charge.

2. Määräystenmukainen

käyttö

Pro-juomasekoitin on…

… tarkoitettu täyshedelmäjuomien

(smoothieiden) sekoittamiseen ja jää-

palojen hienontamiseen. Käytä tätä

varten teräosaa ristiterällä7.

… tarkoitettu kiinteiden elintarvikkeiden

(esim. pähkinöiden) hienontami-

seen. Käytä tätä varten teräosaa ma-

talalla terällä8.

Laite on tarkoitettu vain yksityistalouksien

käyttöön. Laitetta saa käyttää vain sisätilois-

sa.

Laitetta ei saa käyttää kaupallisiin tarkoituk-

siin.

Ennakoitava väärinkäyttö

VAROITUS aineellisista vahingoista!

Paksut tai kovat kuoret (esim. sitrushedel-

mien, ananaksen), luumarjojen varret ja

kivet (esim. kirsikoiden, persikoiden, apri-

koosien) on poistettava ennen sekoitusta.

~ Laitetta ei saa käyttää erityisen kovien

elintarvikkeiden, kuten esim. luiden ja

muskottipähkinöiden hienontamiseen.

3. Turvaohjeita

Varoituksiin liittyvää

Tarpeen mukaan käytetään tässä käyttöoh-

jeessa seuraavia varoitusmerkintöjä:

VAARA! Suuri riski: Varoituksen

laiminlyönnistä voi aiheutua tapa-

turman vaara.

VAROITUS! Keskimääräinen riski: Varoi-

tuksen huomiotta jättämisestä voi seurata

loukkaantumisia tai vakavia aineellisia va-

hinkoja.

VARO: Alhainen riski: Varoituksen huomiot-

ta jättämisestä voi seurata lieviä loukkaantu-

misia tai aineellisia vahinkoja.

OHJE: seikkoja ja erityiskohtia, jotka on

huomioitava laitteen käytön yhteydessä.

Ohjeita turvallista käyttöä varten

Lapset eivät saa käyttää tätä laitetta.

Lapset eivät saa leikkiä laitteella.

Laite ja sen liitosjohto on pidettävä lasten ulottumattomissa.

Tätä laitetta voivat käyttää sellaiset henkilöt, joiden fyysiset, sensori-

set tai henkiset kyvyt tai kokemus ja/tai tiedot ovat riittämättömät,

jos heitä valvotaan tai mikäli heidät on opastettu käyttämään laitet-

ta turvallisesti ja ymmärtämään sen käyttöön liittyvät vaarat.

Jos laitteen verkkoliitosjohto vaurioituu, on se vaihdettava valmista-

jan tai tämän asiakaspalvelun tai vastaavasti pätevän henkilön toi-

mesta vaaratilanteiden välttämiseksi.

Tätä laitetta ei ole tarkoitettu käytettäväksi ulkoisen ajastinkellon tai

erillisen kauko-ohjauksen kautta.

Irrota verkkopistoke pistorasiasta, …

… jos valvojaa ei ole,

… ennen laitteen kokoamista tai purkamista ja

… ennen kuin puhdistat laitteen.

Puhdista teräosat, mukit, renkaat ja kannet lämpimällä vedellä, jo-

hon on lisätty hieman astianpesuainetta, tai astianpesukoneessa.

Teräosan terät ovat teräviä. Käytä niitä varovasti.

VAARA lapsille

~ Pakkausmateriaali ei kuulu lasten leik-

keihin. Lasten ei pidä antaa leikkiä muo-

vipusseilla. Niistä voi aiheutua

tukehtumisvaara.

~ Pidä huolta siitä, etteivät lapset pääse

vetämään laitetta liitosjohdosta alas työ-

pöydältä.

~ Säilytä laitetta lasten ulottumattomissa.

VAARA koti- ja hyötyeläi-

mille ja niiden kautta

~ Sähkölaitteista voi aiheutua vaaraa koti-

ja hyötyeläimille. Lisäksi eläimet voivat

myös vaurioittaa laitetta. Siksi eläimet

on periaatteessa pidettävä loitolla säh-

kölaitteista.

VAARA sähköiskusta

kosteuden takia

~ Laitetta ei saa koskaan käyttää kylpyam-

meen, suihkun, täyden pesualtaan tai

vastaavan lähettyvillä.

~ Moottoriyksikköä, liitosjohtoa ja verkko-

pistoketta ei saa upottaa veteen tai mui-

hin nesteisiin.

~ Suojaa moottoriyksikkö, liitosjohto ja

verkkopistoke kosteudelta, tippu- ja rois-

kevedeltä.

Jos moottoriyksikköön pääsee nestettä, on

verkkopistoke irrotettava välittömästi. Sen

jälkeen laite on annettava tarkastaa, en-

nen kuin se otetaan uudelleen käyttöön.

~ Älä käytä laitetta kostein käsin.

~ Jos laite on pudonnut veteen, on verkko-

pistoke irrotettava välittömästi. Vasta sit-

ten laite otetaan pois vedestä.

VAARA sähköiskusta

~ Aseta verkkopistoke pistorasiaan vasta

sitten, kun laite on kokonaan koottu.

~ Liitä verkkopistoke vain säännönmukai-

sesti asennettuun ja helposti saavutetta-

vaan pistorasiaan, jonka jännite vastaa

tyyppikilvessä olevaa arvoa. Pistorasian

on oltava myös liittämisen jälkeen hel-

posti saavutettava.

~ Pidä huolta siitä, ettei liitosjohto pääse

vaurioitumaan terävien kulmien tai kuu-

mien paikkojen takia. Älä kierrä liitos-

johtoa laitteen ympärille.

~ Laite ei ole vielä sammutuksen jälkeen-

kään täysin irti verkosta. Tätä varten on

irrotettava verkkopistoke.

Pidä laitetta käyttäessäsi huolta siitä, ettei

liitosjohto joudu puristuksiin tai litistetyksi.

~ Irrottaaksesi verkkopistokkeen pisto-

rasiasta, vedä aina pistokkeesta, äläkä

koskaan johdosta.

~ Irrota verkkopistoke pistorasiasta, …

… jos sattuu häiriö,

… kun juomasekoitin ei ole käytössä,

… aina ukonilmalla.

~ Laitetta ei pidä käyttää, jos laitteessa tai

liitosjohdossa on näkyviä vaurioita.

~ Turvateknisistä syistä laitteen rakentee-

seen ei saa tehdä muutoksia.

loukkaantumisesta

~ Teräosan terät pyörivät vielä sammutta-

misen jälkeenkin. Odota niiden pysähty-

minen, ennen kuin poistat mukin.

~ Teräosan terät ovat teräviä. Käytä niitä

varovasti. Käsin pestessä tulisi veden

olla niin kirkasta, että terät ovat hyvin

näkyvissä.

~ Laitetta ei saa missään tapauksessa

käyttää ilman mukia.

VAROITUS aineellisista

vahingoista

~ Matalalla terällä varustettua teräosaa ei

saa käyttää nesteille!

~ Paksut tai kovat kuoret (esim. sitrushe-

delmien, ananaksen), luumarjojen var-

ret ja kivet (esim. kirsikoiden,

persikoiden, aprikoosien) on poistettava

ennen sekoitusta.

~ Älä laita mukiin aineksia, jotka ovat

kuumempia kuin 85 °C.

~ Laitevaurion välttämiseksi on sekoittami-

nen keskeytettävä heti, kun teräosan te-

rät eivät pyöri tai pyörivät vain

vaivalloisesti. Irrota verkkopistoke ja tar-

kasta, onko mukissa este tai ovatko ai-

nekset liian sitkeitä. Tarkasta myös, että

laite on oikein koottu.

~ Älä käytä laitetta tyhjillä mukeilla, koska

tällöin moottori voi kuumentua ja vauri-

oitua.

~ Käytä laitetta vain silloin, kun teräosa

on kiinnitetty mukiin.

~ Laitteen käyttöaika on korkeintaan

60sekuntia ilman keskeytystä. Sen jäl-

keen laitteen on oltava poiskytkettynä,

kunnes se on jäähtynyt huoneenlämpöti-

laan.

~ Käytä vain alkuperäisiä varusteita.

~ Laitetta (perusyksikkö, liitosjohto verkko-

pistokkeella) ei saa pestä astianpesuko-

neessa.

~ Väkeviä tai hankaavia puhdistusaineita

ei saa käyttää.

~ Laite on varustettu pitävillä muovisilla

imujaloilla. Koska huonekaluja pinnoite-

taan monilla eri maaleilla ja muoveilla

ja käsitellään erilaisilla hoitoaineilla, ei

ole täysin poissuljettavissa, että joissa-

kin näistä aineista on ainesosia, jotka

vahingoittavat ja pehmentävät muovi-

sia imujalkoja. Aseta laitteen alle tarvit-

taessa pitävä alusta.

Pakkauksen purkaminen

1. Ota kaikki osat pakkauksesta.

2. Tarkasta, että kaikki osat ovat mukana

ja virheettömiä.

5. Käyttöönotto

• Poista kaikki pakkausmateriaalit laittees-

ta.

• Tarkasta, että kaikki osat ovat mukana

ja vauriottomia.

• Puhdista laite ennen ensimmäis-

tä käyttöä! (katso “Puhdistus”

sivulla 20)

• Kierrä haluttu johdon pituus irti johtoke-

lalta3 laitteen alapuolella.

• Aseta laite kuivalle, tasaiselle ja pitäväl-

le alustalle.

6. Käyttö

VAARA sähköiskusta!

Aseta verkkopistoke4 vasta sitten

pistorasiaan, kun juomasekoitin on

kokonaan koottu.

VAARA loukkaantumisesta

leikkaamalla!

~ Laitetta ei saa missään tapauksessa

käyttää ilman mukia5/6.

Teräosien

terät ovat teräviä. Käytä nii-

tä varovasti.

~ Teräosan7/8 terät pyörivät vielä sam-

muttamisen jälkeenkin. Odota niiden

pysähtyminen, ennen kuin käännät mu-

kin5/6 ja irrotat teräosan.

VAROITUS aineellisista vahingoista!

~ Laitevaurion välttämiseksi on sekoitustoi-

minto keskeytettävä heti, kun terä-

osien7/8 terät eivät pyöri tai pyörivät

vain vaivalloisesti. Irrota tässä tapauk-

sessa verkkopistoke4

ja tarkasta, onko

mukissa

6.1 Käyttöalueet

Käytä teräosaa ristiterällä7 täyshedelmä-

juomien (smoothieiden) sekoittamiseen ja

~ Matalalla terällä varustettua terä-

osaa8 ei saa käyttää nesteille!

Käytä teräosaa matalalla terällä8 kiintei-

den elintarvikkeiden (esim. pähkinöiden)

hienontamiseen.

OHJE: käytä pähkinöiden hienontamisessa

kork. 50 g määrää n. 8-10 sekunnin käyttö-

aikana.
