8. Montieren Sie nun den Verriegelungsgummi in die dreieckig geformte Rille, welche nicht
gefüllt ist. Verwenden Sie einen Schlitzschraubenzieher um den Verriegelungsgummi
in die Rille zu drücken. Dieser ist erforderlich um das Acrylfenster zu fixieren. Bringen
Sie nun Sekundenkleber an den Kanten zwischen Formgummi und Gehäuse an, um eine
bessere Haftung zu gewährleisten.

Installation instructions:
1.Determine where you would like to install the window in the case.
2.Continue by laying the acrylic window on the case panel
(which has been removed from the rest of the case) and
determine the final position. Make sure to leave enough
distance between any obstacles that could stand in the
way of the case cutout.
3.Lay the supplied washer against the edge of the window
and place the pencil tip inside the washer. Keeping your
pencil tip inside the washer, trace a line around the acrylic
window. This will serve as a stencil for cutting. Please
make sure that you have traced exactly around the window
and that you are sure that this is where you would like to
install the window.
4.Cover the cutting surface with masking tape to prevent any scratches that could occur
during cutting.
5.Use a Dremel or a compass saw (recommended) to cut exactly along the line you traced
in step 3.
6.Once you have finished cutting, lay the seal along the edge of the cutout in the case. If
you look at a cross section of the strip, you will see that one groove is smaller than the
other. Use the smaller groove and remove the excess with a blade if the strip is too long.
7.Once you have correctly pressed the strip into the cutout in the case panel, place the acrylic
window into the inner side of the groove (wide groove). Press the window all the
way into the groove.
8.Insert the locking strip in the triangle-shaped groove, which has not been filled. Use a
flat-head screwdriver to press the locking strip into the groove. You must do this to keep
the acrylic window in place. Next glue the seal to the case at the corners using super glue
to improve adhesion between the seal and the case.

Diese Scheibe ist ausschließlich für Ausstellungszwecke, Showzwecke oder für Designobjek-

- es besteht erhöhte Verletzungsgefahr durch Benutzung von Werkzeugen, scharfe Kanten
- Netzstecker ziehen, Spannungsfreiheit sicherstellen der Einbau darf nur im spannungslosen
Zustand des Computers durchgeführt wer den ansonsten besteht die Gefahr eines
Stromschlages (Lebensgefahr!)
Die Hama GmbH & Co KG schließt jegliche Haftung für Schäden und Folgeschäden
(Personenschäden und Sachschäden), die während des Einbaus oder durch den Einbau
entstehen, soweit dies rechtlich zulässig ist, aus. Ebenso werden Schäden, die aufgrund von
EMV-Störstrahlung entstehen nicht erstattet.
Attention!
This acrylic window kit is designed solely for exhibition purposes, show purposes or design
objects. If the computer is operated in spite of the fact that the acrylic window kit is built in,
this can cause increased EMC interferences!
After the building-in of the acrylic window kit, it is prohibited to operate the computer, unless
the operator can ensure that other devices are not disturbed by the operation, and if the
operation does not violate any regulations by law about EMC interferences.
Please be extremely careful during the building in of the window kit.
- The risk of injury is increased by the use of tools,sharp edges.
- Take out the power plug, make sure that the computer is disconnected from the power
supply – it is only allowed to build in the acrylic window kit when the computer is
disconnected otherwise there is the risk of an electric shock (danger to life!) .
The Hama GmbH & Co KG disclaims every liability for damages and consequential damages
(personal injury and injury to property) which are caused during the building in or by the
building in, as far as this is legally allowed. Injuries which are caused by EMC interference are
not reimbursed either.
