According to the laws governing product liability, the manufacturer and dealer are obliged to hand the
operating manual to the customer at the time of sale, and to instruct them in the recommended operating,
safety, and maintenance regulations. Conrmation is necessary to prove that the machine and operating
manual have been handed over accordingly.
For this purpose,
- document A is to be signed and sent to Pöttinger,
- document B remains with the dealer supplying the machine,
- and the customer receives document C.
In accordance with the laws of product liability, every farmer is an entrepreneur.
According to the laws of product liability, property damage is damage caused by a machine and not to
it. An excess of Euro 500 is provided for such a liabilioty.
In accordance with the laws of product liability, entrepreneurial property damages are excluded from
the liability.
Attention! Should the customer resell the machine at a later date, the operating manual must be given
to the new owner who must then be instructed in the recommended regulations referred to herein.

Dear Customer,
You have purchased a Pöttinger manure spreader and
we would like to thank you again for your confidence in
our products.
This operating manual also outlines special equipment in
cases where its operation requires an explanation. Because
the scope of the delivery depends on the order, there is a
chance that the design / realisation of your machine might
differ from some outlines and diagrams.
We are working continuously on the further development
of our machines. We hope you will understand that we
must reserve the right to make modifications in form, outfit
and technical features. For this reason, we cannot assume
liability for all of the details, illustrations and descriptions
in this operating manual.
Please do not lay this operating manual aside unread. It
contains several essential instructions and remarks that
are intended to simplify operation for you.
If your machine has fittings which are not illustrated or
outlined in this operating manual, your technical repair
shop will gladly provide you with information on proper
operation and servicing.
The staff of Pöttinger Ges.m.b.H wish you the best success
with your new manure spreader.
Safety instructions
Before operating the machine for the first time, the operating manual
must be read through WITHOUT FAIL !
The machine is only permitted to be used, serviced and repaired
by persons who are familiar with these operations and have been
instructed on the dangers. All persons from whom operation fully
in line with requirements cannot be expected (children etc.) must
not operate the machine.
The operating manual must read and complied with by all persons
who use, service or repair this machine.
The warning and instruction plates attached to the machine provide
important instructions for its safe operation.
The machine is only permitted to be used in compliance with its
intended purpose, for normal deployment in agricultural work, and
in line with requirements. Otherwise, any kind of liability on the part
of the manufacturer is ruled out. PÖTTINGER original spare parts
and accessories are designed and developed specifically for our
machines. We explicitly call attention to the fact that spare parts
and accessories not supplied by us are also not tested, verified or
cleared by us. It is possible that the installation and utilisation of
such products might adversely alter and impair specified features of
the device. Any liability of the manufacturer for damage(s) arising on
account of the employment of non-original parts is ruled out.
Unauthorised modifications to the machine using add-on parts etc.
exclude the possibility of a liability on the part of the manufacturer.
The device is constructed in such a way that the highest possible
working safety is the case. However, that does not exclude the
possibility of accidents due to improper operation.
The accident-prevention regulations and the otherwise generally
recognised technical safety-related and traffic regulations must be
complied with!
All protective facilities must be installed on the machine and must be
in a state which is in line with requirements. Worn-out or damaged
coverings must be upgraded on time.
Prior to starting work, the user must be familiar with all operation
mechanisms and their function.
Only use the supplied driveshaft with motionless coverings. By means
of a chain, the protective tube of the driveshaft must be secured
against rotating along with the driveshaft !! The use of different
driveshafts is not permitted. The protective tube and protective
funnel of the driveshaft and also the power-take-off protection
must be mounted.
The mounting and de-mounting of the driveshaft must only be
performed when the engine is switched off - wait until the driveshaft
has come to a standstill !
Before switching on the driveshaft, make sure that the turning direction
and the power-take-off rotary speed of the tractor correspond with
that of the device. When switching on and working with the power-
take-off, no persons are permitted to be situated in the danger area
of the power-take-off and of the device.
When working on the machine, it must be made sure WITHOUT FAIL
that the engine is switched off and the driveshaft disconnected !
Wait until the driveshaft is at a standstill ! Never carry out repairs
on a running machine - DANGER OF INJURY.
When driving on public traffic routes, the provisions of the traffic
regulations are applicable in accordance with the directives of the
relevant country.
Lights, protective equipment and markings must be attached in
accordance with the traffic regulations. All required licence documents
must be brought along.

1. The spreader is only permitted to be used by persons
who are familiar with the operating manual and the
safety regulations.
2. During operation, it must be ensured that no persons
are situated in the working area of the machine (off-
limit distance of min. 50 metres).
3. When carrying out servicing work, always make sure
that the engine of the tractor is switched off and that
the driveshaft is disconnected !
4. During operation, all protective devices must be
mounted (use original parts only).
5. Check all screws and safety elements on a regular
basis (this applies particularly following the initial hours
of operation).
6. During operation, no persons are permitted to be
present on the manure spreader, and especially not
on the scraper floor or in the immediate vicinity of the
spreading mechanism !
7. The cleaning and lubrication of the machine is only
permitted to be performed when the driveshaft is
disconnected.
8. Please verify whether the power-take-off rotary speed
and the turning direction of the tractor correspond with
that of the spreader.
9. Only use driveshafts with original and soundly
functioning protective devices. Using chains,
secure the protective tube of the driveshaft against
rotating.
10. When driving on public roads, the provisions of the
relevant traffic regulations are applicable in accordance
with the statutes of the relevant country.
11. During operation, the user is obliged to make sure
that the possibility of personal or material damage is
ruled out.
12. Servicing work and repairs are only permitted to be
carried out by suitably trained personnel.
13. CAUTION ! The carrying wheel is only suitable for
supporting the spreader and must not be used when
driving.
14. Regularly check the tyres, the air pressure and that
the wheel nuts are positioned correctly.
15. Where an electric lighting unit is being used, it must
be verified by means of a short light test that it is
functioning soundly.
16. Prior to operation, it is vital to check that the spreading
mechanism is attached properly.
17. Where a spreading-mechanism protection is being
used, it must be checked before operation.
18. It is very strictly forbidden to transport persons on the
device while it is operating.
19. When connecting, please make sure that the spreader
is connected in accordance with the instructions and
that the trailer bolt is secured.
20. Prior to operating it, check the braking capability of
the machine.
21. It must be ensured that no persons are situated between
the tractor and the spreader without the vehicle being
secured against rolling away.
22. In the course of cleaning work, repairs and when the
scraper floor is stood on, the engine of the tractor must
be switched off and the driveshaft disconnected.
23. If the spreading mechanism becomes blocked during
the spreading process, then the advancing mechanism
of the scraper floor must be switched off immediately.
Switch off the engine of the tractor and disconnect the
driveshaft. After that, remove grit and foreign matter
from the spreader cylinders.
24. Please make sure that the manoeuvrability of the tractor
cannot be affected by the loading of the spreader.
Furthermore, it is possible that the equilibrium of the
spreader can be impacted if it is partially loaded. For
this reason, it should be driven with caution.
Important instructions and remarks:
- Do not drive tight curves when the power-take-off is
switched on!
- Always drive with a driveshaft having a shearing
safety mechanism and the stipulated shearing pin
! Otherwise the spreading mechanism or the drive
might get damaged. In such cases, a warranty liability
cannot be assumed by the manufacturer !
- When spreading, always start with the minimum speed
of the scraper-floor advancing mechanism !
- Before switching on the scraper-floor advancing
mechanism, open the hydraulic back-plate (special
equipment) !
- The advancing mechanism should never be adjusted
when at a standstill! (Start spreading with advancing
mechanism 0 - stop spreading with advancing
mechanism 0)

Basic rules for safety
Always use the driveshaft with its accident-protection
mechanism and always use a driveshaft of a design
suitable to the machine.
Before operating the machines, please ensure that the
driveshaft is properly attached to the machine and the
tractor.
Do not go into the working area of the driveshaft. Contact
with rotary parts can cause serious accidents.
Switch off the engine and remove the key before carrying
out servicing work. Use original spare parts only.
Check that the accident-protection, and in particular the
solid support chain, is functioning in line with requirements
and for the most extreme of operating conditions. Replace
possibly damaged parts immediately.
Length: Check the length of the driveshaft for the minimum
and maximum operating conditions. The profile-tube
covering must be at least 1 / 3 of the relevant length.
Operating curves: Please work with small and uniform
curvature (max. 35 degrees). Switch off the power-take-
off for operations in which the non-homo-kinetic joints
operate with a high curvature (drive in the steering, raise
the centre of rotation etc.).
Connections: Check that the driveshaft is correctly
attached to the power-take-offs. Check the starting torque
of the pins.
Service life: Protect the driveshaft from weather effects.
When commencing operation again, the operability of the
driveshaft must be checked and it must be lubricated in
accordance with the lubrication plan.

machine parts!
Do not open or remove protective
mechanisms while the engine is
running.
Do not step on the loading platform if
PTO is connected to the tractor and
the engine is running.
Danger from parts which can be
thrown forward while the engine
is running. Adhere to the safety
distance !
Turn engine off when adjustment,
servicing and repair work is to be
performed.

Hitching to the tractor
* Prior to hitching, the spreader must be secured
against rolling way by means of a blocking wedge or
the parking brake.
* The hitch of the manure spreader must be set in such
a way that the machine is in as horizontal a position
as possible. Above all in the case of spreaders having
a tandem axle, this must be ensured that the tandem
unit cannot swing out to both sides when the ground
is uneven (see Figure 1).
Caution !
A danger of injury exists in the area of the
shaft on account of crushing points. For this
reason, special caution must be exercised
when hitching!
* If stipulated, the trailer safety rope must be attached
to the trailer coupler.
* After the hitching of the carrying wheel, crank it up to
its uppermost limit and raise it using your foot (see
Figure 2).
* If the spreader is fitted with a hydraulic support leg,
connect the hydraulic lead (paying attention to the
tractor’s operating manual) and drive the support leg
to its upper limit stop. After that, remove the safety pin
(position 1) and fold in the lower part of the support
leg (position 2). Before switching off, the lower part
of the support leg must be folded down and again
secured with the safety pin ! (See Figure 3)
* If the spreader is fitted with a compressed-air or oil-
hydraulic brake, connect the connection leads to the
tractor in accordance with the instructions (which can
be found in the tractor’s operating manual).
Caution !
It is absolutely essential to pre-connect
a load-adjustment valve of the hydraulic
braking lead. This valve is integrated in
most tractors as a standard feature (you can
find more details in the tractor’s operating
manual). If no valve is present on the tractor,
then a valve must be built into the braking
lead on the manure spreader.
* In conclusion, connect the hydraulic leads (forward and
back lead) of the scraper-floor advancing mechanism
to the tractor (paying attention to tractor’s operating
manual).

Calculations specific to spreading tables
The values specified in the spreading tables are typical
values which can vary in practice from the listed quantities.
The tables are calculated uniformly for a spreading width
of 6 metres and a grit weight of 700 kg/m3.
The following calculation examples are intended for
obtaining a typical value in the case of abnormal conditions
of use (e.g. use of spreading mechanisms having wide
spreading, use of lighter or heavier grit).
1. Deviation of the spreading width

General maintenance hints
In order to keep the implement in
good condition after long periods
of operation, please observe the
following points:
- Tighten all screws after the first
hours of operation.
In particular check:
- blade screws on the mowers
- tine screws on the swather and tedder.
Spare part
a. The original components and accessories have
been designed especially for these machines and
appliances.
b. We want to make it quite clear that components and
accesories that have not been supplied by us have
not been tested by us.
c. The installation and/or use of such products can,
therefore, negatively change or influence the
construction characteristics of the appliance. We are
not liable for damages caused by the use of components
and accessories that have not been supplied by us.
d. Alterations and the use of auxiliary parts that are
not permitted by the manufacturer render all liability
invalid.
Cleaning of machine parts
Attention! Do not use high-pressure washers for the
cleaning of bearing- and hydraulic parts.
- Danger of rust!
- After cleaning, grease the machine according to the
lubrication chart and carry out a short test run.
- Cleaning with too high pressure may do damage to
varnish.
Safety point
Turn engine off when adjustment, service and repair
work is to be done.
Hydraulic unit
Caution! Danger of injury or infection!
Under high pressure, escaping fluids can penetrate
the skin. Therefore seek immediate medical help!
After the first 10 operating hours and then every
consecutive 50 operating hours
- Check the hydraulic unit and lines for tightness and
retighten screw connections if necessary.
Before operation
- Check hydraulic hoses for wear.
Replace worn or damaged hydraulic hoses immediately.
The replacement hoses must meet the manufacturer’s
technical requirements.
Hose lines are subject to natural ageing. The period of
use should not exceed 5 – 6 years.
Winter storage
- Thoroughly clean machine before storage.
- Put up protection against weather.
- Change or replenish gear oil.
- Protect exposed parts from rust.
- Lubricate all greasing points according to lubrication
chart.

Checking the braking impact
- Check the functional compliance of the brakes by
means of a braking test.
- If the brake pads are too worn-out to achieve an
adequate braking impact, then the braking blocks must
be realigned. That takes place by repositioning the
turnbuckles or the clasp nuts. In the process, it must
be ensured that when the brake is applied, a sufficient
adjustment distance on the braking lever is still free.
- If the adjustment distance on the braking lever is no
longer adequate, then the position of the levers on the
axle must be corrected with the aid of the serration (see
Figure 4).
- Check the brake blocks from time to time in order to
ascertain the state of wearing of the brake pad.
Tyres and tyre pressure
Caution! Following the initial hours of
operation, retighten the wheel nuts and
check them regularly !
- It is only permitted to perform wheel changes when
the spreader is connected to the tractor. The tractor
and the spreader must be secured against rolling away
(blocking wedge, parking brake).
- The air pressure must be checked on a regular basis.
Under no circumstances is the air pressure permitted
to be greater than the permissible tyre pressure.
Lighting unit
- Connect the cable connector to the socket outlet of
the tractor (paying attention to the tractor’s operating
manual) and, by means of a short light test, check that
it is working.

Driveshaft
- Only use the driveshaft supplied. If you use a different
driveshaft, that will invalidate the warranty.
- Please ensure that the coupling pins on the power-
take-off snap in completely and that the coupler is
thus fixated.
- Check the length of the driveshaft as to whether:
1. the tube is still sufficiently covered at the longest
position of the driveshaft.
2. the driveshaft is still telescopic at the shortest
position of the driveshaft (travelling a curve). If
necessary, length corrections must be performed
(see supplementary sheet).
- The standard driveshafts supplied have a shearing
safety mechanism against overloading. Check whether
the nut of the shearing pin is fixed properly. Reserve
shearing pins are included with every spreader and are
located in the moulded tube of the setting lever of the
advancing mechanism or in the moulded tube of the
flow distributor console. The shearing safety mechanism
safeguards the drive components from fracture or
damage. In particular, it takes effect if the spreading
mechanism jams abruptly on account of foreign matter
which may be contained in the manure.
- After hitching the driveshaft, fix the support chain of
the driveshaft on the protective lid or on the shaft so
that the protective tube of the driveshaft is prevented
from rotating as well (see Figure 6).
Re-tensioning the scraper-floor chain
- If the scraper-floor chain is correctly tensioned, it should
be possible to raise each individual strand of the chain
by hand by approximately 20 mm.
- The re-tensioning of the scraper floor chains is effected
by the tensioning screw (1) located on the front frame
with each strand of the chain fitted with one screw (see
Figure 6).
- Please ensure that all the chain strands have equal
tensioning.
- If, after a longer period of utilisation, the re-tensioning
distance of the chains is no longer adequate, then two
chain links (one standing link and one lying link) must
be removed and the fastening link re-mounted.

Test run and commissioning
- Before the test run, it must be ensured that all screws,
fasteners and safety elements are fixed rigidly.
Furthermore, all protective mechanisms must be
mounted in accordance with the instructions.
- With the aid of the flow distributor, allow the speed of
the scraper floor run from “0” to the maximum speed
and check that the turning direction is correct. In
the case of the hydraulic advancing mechanism, the
forward and back run is switched by a control device. If
a control device is not present on the tractor, a control
device must be installed on the hydraulic advancing
mechanism on the spreader. Verify that the leads are
connected correctly and that the flow distributor is
functioning properly.
Connecting: (See schematic)
Before commissioning / operation, in the case of all variants,
two hydraulic leads must be connected to the tractor
(paying attention to the tractor’s operating manual).
Configuration variant A: Hydraulic scraper floor drive
with current divider
Forward lead (V): Lead from the tractor to the current
divider - from current divider on to the
oil engine
Back lead (R): Lead from oil engine back to the
tractor
Configuration variant B: Hydraulic scraper floor drive
with current divider and
control device
Forward lead (V): Lead from the tractor to the current
divider - from the current divider to
the control device - from the control

Before commissioning, it must be ensured that the current
divider (flow distributor) is set to “0” and the control device
is set to the middle setting!
When the spreading process starts, perform the
following actions in the specified order:
1. Switch on the power-take-off
2. Open the hydraulic back-plate or open the hydraulic
protective cover (if fitted)
3. After the rotary speed is reached, switch on the
advancing mechanism with the control device (before
operation, check the forward and back positions !)
4. Set the speed of the advancing mechanism with the
current divider

Loading the spreader
* The spreader should be loaded as evenly possible in
order to achieve an optimum spreading pattern. Large
intermediate gaps in the load will make themselves
apparent as intermediate gaps in the spreading
pattern.
* The loading height must not exceed the passageway
height of the spreading mechanism !
* If possible, when loading, the spreading teeth should
be kept free from the load.
* In order to prevent damage, it should be ensured that
no larger solid materials such as stones or other foreign
matter are contained in the load!
Spreading process on the field
* Before you start spreading, fold up the spreader cylinder
protection (if this is fitted or stipulated) !
* Please make sure without fail that the spray-protection
grate is attached to the front side board! This protects
the tractor’s driver from injuries and the tractor from
damage from pieces of manure or other solid materials,
such as e.g. stones, which are thrown to the front.
Caution! During the spreading process, no
persons are permitted to be situated on the
spreader or in the immediate spreading
area !
* Because, when loading the manure spreader, it is not
always possible to keep the spreader cylinders free
from the load, in most cases, the motionless spreading
teeth project into the load. For this reason, when you
start spreading, in order to prevent potential damage
to the spreading mechanism, gearbox and drive when
switching on the power-take-off, on the loading platform
(when the scraper-floor advancing mechanism is
switched off), the spreader cylinders should run slowly
for a few revolutions by switching on the power-take-off
with a low rotary speed so that the spreading teeth are
immediately kept free from the load.
* At the start of spreading, in order to obtain a well-
distributed spreading pattern, after that, still on
the loading platform, the power take-off should be
accelerated to the full rotary speed of 540 r.p.m. / 1000
r.p.m. and the scraper-floor advancing mechanism
should be switched on. After that, on the loading
platform, continue spreading until a sufficient of the
load reaches the spreader cylinders. At this point,
switch to the appropriate gear and begin the spreading
process.
* In order to achieve an optimum spreading pattern, it is
essential to always run the power-take-off with a rotary
speed of 540 r.p.m.
* While driving, the spreading density can be adjusted
with the flow distributor.
* The spreading density depends on the setting of the
advancing mechanism, on the driving speed and on
the load of the spreader.
- A high speed and a lower advance will result in a
low spreading density.
- A low speed and a higher advance will result in a
high spreading density.
* When turning around at the end of field, switch off
the power-take-off so as to help to preserve the
driveshaft and to continue obtaining an even spreading
pattern.
* If, during the spreading process, the overload safety
mechanism of the driveshaft is activated and the
shearing pin breaks due to overloading, then the
shearing pin must be replaced. However, it is first vital
to switch off the power-take-off and the engine of the
tractor! In most cases, the cause of the breakage is
a jam of the spreading mechanism caused by stones
or other foreign matter. If that is the case, then this
foreign matter must first be removed and after that the
shearing pin upgraded. For this reason, it is advisable
to always bring reserve shearing pins along!
Switching off the spreader
* Activate the spindle brake, detach the blocking wedge
and place it under the spreader.
* Disconnect hydraulic tubes, compressed tubes and
light cables.
* Disconnect the driveshaft from the tractor and hang
it up using the support chain which is attached to the
drawbar.
* Detach the carrying wheel and crank it downwards until
the hitch of the spreader lifts off the trailer coupler of
the tractor. Switching off the spreader with hydraulic
support leg - see Section 1.
* Finally, loosen the trailer coupler.

Servicing work
Lubrication instructions (see lubrication plan):
Driveshafts:
- Lubricate the propeller shaft and driveshaft (position 15)
regularly in accordance with the lubrication plan.
Scraper floor:
- Every 10 hours of operation, lubricate the 4 lubrication
points at the front (position 1) and the rear (position 2)
on the side of the frame partial.
Hydraulic scraper floor drive:
- Check the oil level in the hydraulic gearbox (position 3)
regularly. If necessary, fill it up to the level screw.

Spreading mechanism F4 (4 upright cylinders):
- Check the gear-unit oil level in the spreading mechanism
gear unit (one gear unit per spreading cylinder - position
4) after each season. If necessary, fill the gear unit up to

- Every 20 hours of operation, lubricate the spreader
cylinder bearings (4 lubrication points at bearing case
position 5, 4 lubrication points at bearing case position
6).
Spreading mechanism C2 / 4 (2 lying cylinders and
4 spreading vanes):
- Check the gear-unit oil level in the spreading mechanism
gear unit (one gear unit per spreading vane - position 7)
after every season. If necessary, fill the gear unit up to
the level screw.

- Every 20 hours of operation, lubricate the spreading-vane
pins (8 lubrication points - position 8) and the spreading-
vane bearings (4 lubrication points, position 9).
- Every 20 hours of operation, lubricate the spreader
cylinder bearings (2 lubrication points per cylinder -
position 10).
- Every 10 hours of operation, oil the roller chain of the
cylinder drive (position 11).
- Check the gear-unit oil level of the angle gear unit
(position 13). If necessary, fill the gear unit up to the
level screw.

- Lubricate the double joint (position 14) regularly in
accordance with the lubrication plan.
Spreading mechanism C2 / 2 (2 lying cylinders
and 2 spreading plates):
- Check the gear-unit oil level in the spreading
mechanism’s gear unit (in the case of all 3 single gear
units - position 12) after each season. If necessary, fill
the gear unit up to the level screw.

- Every 20 hours of operation, lubricate the spreader
cylinder bearings (2 lubrication points per cylinder,
position 10).
- Oil the roller chain of the cylinder drive (position 11)
every 10 hours of operation
- Check the gear-unit oil level of the angle gear unit
(position 13). If necessary, fill the gear unit up to the
level screw.

Cleaning instructions
- Where possible, clean the spreader each time after
using it
- In the initial months, only wash with cold water. Do
not use high-pressure or steam-jet equipment! After
3 months, the maximum water temperature is 60
degrees C. Do not use corrosive cleaning compounds.
The minimum separation distance between the spray
nozzles and the vehicle is 50 cm!
Other servicing work
* Check the hydraulic tubes and couplers regularly for
damage or contamination.
* Check the lighting unit and the light cable for
damage.
* Check regularly that the brakes, the ropes, the braking
levers and other braking mechanisms are functioning
and, if need be, readjust the brakes (see section
“Checking the braking impact”)
* Check at regular intervals that all screws and safety
elements are positioned correctly and rigidly.
* Each time after use, check the spreading teeth for
damage. If the spreading teeth are worn out, then they
can be reused by simply flipping them over to their
opposite side.
Caution! Always change all spreading
teeth at the same time because otherwise
the spreading mechanism will run in an
unbalanced manner. If the spreading teeth
are worn out on both sides, in order to
obtain a precise spreading pattern, they
should be replaced with new ones. If the
spreader cylinders are de-mounted in the
course of servicing work, then the position
of the spreader cylinders with respect to
one another must be retained exactly (see
Figure 8) when they are re-mounted.

Universal spreader
By contrast to manure spreaders (spreading mechanism
with 4 upright milling rollers), universal spreaders are
equipped with a C spreading mechanism (wide spreading
mechanism). The C spreading mechanism consists of two
lying mill-spreader cylinders and one fixedly mounted
protective cover. Optionally, spreading can be effected by
means of 4 spreading vanes or by 2 spreading plates.
If the universal spreader is fitted with a hydraulic jam
wall, then the hydraulic leads must be connected to the
tractor (adhere to the tractor’s operating manual!). The jam
wall can be opened and closed from the tractor using a
control device.
The commissioning of the universal spreader is the same
as for the normal manure spreader (please adhere to the
above operating manual).
Caution! Prior to loading, the hydraulic jam
wall must be closed in order to prevent the
load from running out.
Before you start spreading
1. Switch on the power-take-off
2. Open the jam wall
3. After reaching the rotary speed, switch on the advancing
mechanism
The milling rollers distribute the grit onto the wide spreading
mechanism which ensures exact and even distribution.
Servicing
Please make sure that the spreading vanes and spreading
dividers are always free of undesirable / troubling elements
(strings etc.). Clean and check the guiding tracks of the
jam wall on a regular basis !
When spreading lime, it must be ensured that this grit has
a high thickening capability and can thus accumulate in
the chain wheels and the guiding tracks of the jam wall. It
is therefore vital to check, and where necessary to clean,
the chain wheels and guiding tracks on a regular basis
(if possible after each load carried)! Furthermore, the
installation of a flow distribution valve 1:1 DW (special
equipment) in the jam wall is recommendable. This valve
guarantees the exact parallel motion of the jam wall
lifting cylinder even in the case of accumulations in the
guiding tracks.
The same safety and maintenance instructions apply as
in the case of the manure spreader!
Warranty conditions
The scope of the warranty is limited to the repair or
replacement of a part which has become defective as
defined by the manufacturer. Defects due to normal wear
and due to incorrect use are excluded from the warranty.
There is no warranty if a device is modified without the
written consent of the manufacturer or if spare parts
were employed which were not original spare parts. The
warranty does not apply to parts not manufactured by us.
The warranty does not apply to working-time and travel/
transport costs or to consequential damage and accidents
causing personal and material damage which were caused
by non-adherence to the safety arrangements or by
incorrect operation. The manufacturer reserves the right
to change the technical specifications and descriptions of
his machines at any time and without prior notice.
Before commissioning
1. After 10 hours of operation, make sure that the screws
are well tightened!
2. Lubricate and oil the machine !
3. Before operating, always check the brakes, tyres and
protective mechanisms !
