Ifyouremovethegrasscatcher,besuretoinstallany
dischargedeectororguardthatmighthavebeen
removedtoinstallthegrasscatcher.Donotoperatethe
mowerwithouteithertheentiregrasscatcherorthegrass

Stoptheenginebeforeremovingthegrasscatcheror
uncloggingthechute.
Donotleavegrassingrasscatcherforextendedperiods
oftime.
Grasscatchercomponentsaresubjecttowear,damage
anddeterioration,whichcouldexposemovingpartsor
allowobjectstobethrown.Frequentlycheckcomponents

CuttingFrequency
Cutthegrassoften,especiallywhenitgrowsrapidly.Youwill
havetocutyourgrasstwiceifitgetsexcessivelylong.
CuttingTechnique
Forbestlawnappearance,besuretoslightlyoverlapthe
mowerintothepreviouslycutarea.Thishelpsreducethe
loadontheengineandreducesthechanceofpluggingthe
chuteanddischargetube.
BaggingSpeed
MostoftenyouwillbagwiththemowerthrottleintheFast
positionanddriveatanormalgroundspeed.However,
inextremelydryanddustygrass,youmaywanttoslightly
reducethethrottlespeedandincreasethegroundspeedof
themower.Thebaggingsystemmayplugifyoudrivetoo
fastandtheenginespeedgetstooslow .Onhills,itmay
benecessarytoslowthemowergroundspeed.Thishelps
maintaintheenginespeedandbaggingefciency.Mow
downhillwheneverpossible.
CAUTION
Asthebaggerlls,extraweightisaddedtotheback
ofthemachine.Ifyoustopandstartsuddenlyon
hills,youmaylosesteeringcontrolorthemachine
maytip.
Donotstartorstopsuddenlywhengoinguphill
ordownhill.Avoiduphillstarts.

mowertoyournormalcuttingheightandrepeatthebagging

BaggingWetGrass

haveaneatappearance.Ifyoumustcutwetgrass,usethe

hourslater,whentheclippingsaredry,installthecomplete
baggerattachmentandvacuumupthegrassclippings.

Asyouarebagging,asmallamountofgrassclippings
