Thiscuttingmachineiscapableofamputatinghandsandfeet
andthrowingobjects.Failuretoobservethefollowingsafety
instructionscouldresultinseriousinjuryordeath.
Training
ReadtheOperator’sManualandothertrainingmaterial.If
theoperator(s)ormechanic(s)cannotreadEnglish,itis

Becomefamiliarwiththesafeoperationoftheequipment,
operatorcontrols,andsafetysigns.

Gasoline
WARNING-Gasolineishighlyammable.Takethe

Refueloutdoorsonlyanddonotsmokewhilerefueling.
Addfuelbeforestartingtheengine.Neverremovethe
capofthefueltankoraddgasolinewhiletheengineis

butmovethemowerawayfromtheareaofspillageand

Replaceallfueltankandcontainercapssecurely.
Preparation
Whilemowing,alwayswearsubstantialfootwear,long
trousers,andearprotection.Donotoperatethe
equipmentwhenbarefootorwearingopensandals.Long
hair,looseclothing,orjewelrymaygettangledinmoving
parts.
Thoroughlyinspecttheareawheretheequipmentistobe
usedandremoveallstones,sticks,wires,bonesandother
foreignobjectswhichcanbethrownbythemachine.
Beforeusing,alwaysvisuallyinspecttoseethatguards,
andsafetydevices,suchasdeectorsand/orgrass
catchers,areinplaceandworkingcorrectly.
