Plug$in$mains.$Display$flashes$12:00$
To$set$time,$press$$“time$set”.$The$red$digital$time$display$flashes.$Press$“hours”$
and$“minutes”.$Display$continues$to$flash$for$2-3$seconds,$then$is$steady$and$the$
time$is$now$set.$

Listen$t o$the$radio:$Extend$the$small$thin$black$wire$as$high$as$possible.$It$is$the$
FM$aerial.$To$help$AM$reception,$rotate$the$radio$left$or$right,$its$aerial$is$inside$
the$ device.$ Each$ time$ you$ press$ “clock/fm/am”,$ the$ device$ rotates$ around$ the$
three$$states.$
To$tune$in$the$radio,$press$and$hold$ “tuning$ +”$ or$“tuning$-”$for$2$seconds$and$
radio$ will$ auto$ tune$ to$ next$ radio$ station.$ If$ you$ know$ the$ frequency,$ keep$
pressing$ until$ frequency$ is$ displayed.$ You$ cannot$ store$ stations.$ Adjust$ the$
volume$+$or$-.$

To$set$alarm.$Radio$must$be$off.$
Press$ “alarm$ set”$ quickly$ once.$ Digital$ display$ flashes.$ Press$ “hours”$ and$
“minutes”$to$display$required$alarm$time.$There$is$also$a$small$red$LED$“alarm”$
which$ flashes$ on$ and$ off.$ This$ small$ red$ LED$ $ is$ steady$ when$ an$ ala rm$ is$ set.$
Select$the$time$quickly,$because$if$no$buttons$are$pressed$for$about$two$seconds,$
the$alarm$time$is$stored$and$the$flashing$“alarm”$LED$is$now$steady,$showing$the$
alarm$time$is$set$and$the$alarm$is$now$on.$$

Be$aware$also$that$the$type$of$alarm$has$also$to$be$selected.$The$ al arm$can$be$the$
radio,$either$FM$or$AM,$or$can$be$a$loud$buzzer.$To$select$the$type$of$alarm,$when$
you$ are$ in$ the$ alarm$ setting$ mode$ (with$ the$ digital$ display$ flashing)$ press$ the$$
“alarm$mode”$button$and$each$press$will$rotate$selection$of$“FM/AM$/Buzzer”.$
There$are$small$red$LEDs$to$show$what$is$being$selected$as$your$alarm.$

To$check$the$alarm$time$at$any$time$just$press$once$the$“alarm$set”.$The$digital$
display$ will$ flash$ with$ the$ alarm$ t ime$ and$ show$ whether$ FM,AM$ or$ buzzer$ is$
primed.$

You$may$cancel$the$alarm$at$this$or$any$point$by$pressing$“alarm$mode”,$or$you$
can$ chan ge$ the$ al arm$ time$ from$ its$ sett ing$ by$ following$ the$ above$ stages,$
resetting$the$new$time$whilst$the$large$display$is$still$flashing.$

SNOOZE:$Going$to$bed…switch$the$radio$on,$then$press$“snooze”$button$to$select$
how$ long$ before$ radio$ switches$ itself$ off.$ Each$ time$ the$ “snooze”$ button$ is$
pressed,$ you$ will$ see$ a$ countdown$ display$ of$ the$ time$ in$ ten$ minute$ intervals$
from$90$mins$down$to$“off”$before$the$radio$will$switch$off$for$the$night..$If$you$
just$press$“snooze”$once,$the$radio$will$play$for$90$minutes$and$then$switch$off.$

You$ can$ also$ select$ the$ “dimmer”$ switch,$ which$ has$ one$ pre-set$ dim$ of$ the$
display,$if$it$too$bright.$Each$press$of$the$“dimmer”$toggles$between$the$brightest$
and$the$dimmest.$

In$the$morning,$when$the$alarm$sounds,$you$may$press$“snooze”$which$switches$
the$a la rm$off$for$ten$minites.$The$small$red$“alarm”$LED$continues$to$flash.$If$you$
don’t$want$the$alarm$to$come$on$again,$following$“snooze”,$you$can$cancel$it$by$
switching$ the$ radio$ on.$ Then$ if$ you$ don’t$ wish$ to$ listen$ to$ the$ radio,$ you$ can$
cancel$it$with$the$“clock/fm/am”$switch.$The$small$red$LED$“alarm”$will$go$off.$
