Remove tape and any labels from your
refrigerator before using (except the
model and serial number label).
Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing
alcohol, flammable fluids, or abrasive
cleaners to remove tape or glue.

instructions or warning labels from the

same wall outlet. Do not use an
extension cord. It may overload power
supply, impairing the operation of your
refrigerator, and resulting in fire
accidents.
Use an exclusive wall outlet only.

If the power supply cord is damaged,
it shall be replaced by the original
mains cord which is available via our
service organisation. The mains cord
may only be replaced by a trained
service technician.

Operation
Note:
Please allow your refrigerator to stand
for a minimum of 1 hour prior to
being plugged in or turned on.
This is necessary to allow the
refrigerant to settle properly in the
system after any tipping experienced
during transport and set-up.
This should be repeated any time after
the refrigerator has been handled or
moved about.
Failure to do this can lead to
premature compressor failure or
system damage.

USING THE REFRIGERATOR
To start operating, turn the
refrigerator on, set the thermostat
to maximum, and leave it empty
and operating for two hours with
the door closed.
After two hours, set the thermostat
to your desired setting and place
food inside the refrigerator.
Do not cover shelves with plastic
sheets or trays.
They will restrict proper air flow
and decrease performance.
Use care if placing liquid filled
bottles inside the freezer
compartment.
Liquids expand when freezing and
can cause bottles to break.

To achieve maximum performance of your refrigerator, the thermostat dial
should be set according to the table below.

DEFROSTING
Note:
Do not use sharp or metal objects to
remove the ice. They can damage the
cooling system.
Excessive ice build-up is harmful
to refrigerator performance and
requires more effort from the
compressor.
Defrost the Icemaker about once a
week or when the ice layer is
between 0.5 to 1.0 cm or
approximately the thickness of a
pencil).
Set thermostat to the OFF position.
Unplug the refrigerator.
Remove the items from the
Icemaker and store it in a thermal
insulated container.
Leave the refrigerator door open
until the ice has melted away.
When the defrosting operation is
complete remove the water from
the drip tray and dry it.
A thorough cleaning of the inside
surface of the Icemaker is
recommended whenever the
defrosting operation is performed.
Replace the items inside the
Icemaker.
Plug in the refrigerator.
Set the thermostat to your desired
setting.
CARE AND CLEANING
Explosion Hazard
Use nonflammable cleaner.
Failure to do so can result in death,
explosion, or fire.
The refrigeration unit does not
require maintenance.
The compressor is completely sealed
and self lubricating.
Clean the refrigerator thoroughly
every two months to prevent the
build up of odors.
Wipe up spills immediately.
Cleaning your refrigerator:
Set the thermostat to OFF.
Unplug the
refrigerator.
Remove all food
from the
refrigerator and
store it in a
thermal insulated
container.
Remove all removable parts from
inside, such as shelves, crispers, etc.
Use a clean sponge or soft cloth and
a mild detergent in warm water. Do
not use abrasive or harsh cleaners.
Hand wash, rinse and dry all
surfaces thoroughly.
Put the food back in the refrigerator
and plug it in.
Leave the refrigerator operating for
two hours with the door closed and
the thermostat set to maximum.
After 2 hours, set the thermostat to
your desired setting.

WHEN YOU ARE AWAY
It is not necessary to switch off
your refrigerator if you will be
away for a short period of time
(a few days). Remove perishable
food from the refrigerator and set
the thermostat to minimum.
If you will be away for a long
period, unplug the refrigerator,
remove all food, defrost and
clean it. Remove ice cube trays.
Leave the unplugged refrigerator
with the door open to prevent
odors.
ENERGY SAVING TIPS
Avoid leaving the door open for
a long period of time.
Avoid frequent and unnecessary
openings of the door; open it
partially.
Never place hot food inside the
refrigerator. Allow it to be at
room temperature.
Keep the thermostat at the
appropriate setting.
Allow the front part of the
refrigerator to be just a bit higher
than the rear part to provide
better sealing of the door.
REVERSING THE DOOR
To remove the removable
counter (Fig. 1), carefully lift the
rear and then the front part.
Substitute the four adhesives
tapes “A” (Fig. 1) on the
refrigerator by the new ones
supplied with the unit.
Using a 8 mm screwdriver
loosen screws “B” (Fig. 2).
