Round Cable

Product Discontinuance

3M is discontinuing the sale of the 3M Mini D Ribbon (MDR) Aluminum Junction Shells for round cable

as of February 29, 2012. Last time purchases need to be placed by February 1, 2012. Final shipments will

be made by March 31, 2012.

3M MDR Zinc Junction Shells will be offered as possible replacement products at this time. The customer

will need to determine whether the zinc metal shells are suitable for their intended application.

Parts affected by this notice can be found on TS-0394-07 or TS-0341-10. A list of aluminum junction

shell’s part numbers and their recommended zinc junction shell replacement part numbers are included

below:
