Notes:
1.2. This port can be in HDMI or DP++.
1.2. The HDMI is a DP++/HDMI combo port but can only transmit HDMI signals (unless wired as
a DP++ port). Please plug in an HDMI cable with the right orientation and alignment to avoid
damage to the connector. You should feel resistance (due to a pin on the right) if the cable is not
inserted correctly.

Removing the Chassis Cover
2. The system supports one 2.5" SATA drive. Use 4
provided screws to install a SATA HDD or SSD on
the HDD tray. Then slide the HDD tray back into
the drive bay and close the drive bay by installing
the screws. Make sure that the HDD is on top of
the tray when inserting the tray.

Mini PCIe
socket
The SATA drive bay can be easily accessed without opening the system. However, the system
does not support hot-swapping hard drives; turn off the system rst.
Use the following procedure to install SATA HDD or SSD to the system:
1. Locate the drive bay on the front panel and open it by uninstalling the screws. Then take
out the HDD tray.

Mounting Screws
Mounting Screws
Before working inside your system, observe the following precautions:
1. Make sure the system and all other peripherals connected to it have been powered off.
2. Disconnect all power cords and cables.
3. The 4 mounting screws on the bottom of the system are used to secure the cover to the
chassis. Remove these screws and put them in a safe place for later use.
The Mini PCIe and M.2 sockets are accessible after removing the chassis cover. The M.2 type
2280 socket (B Key) provides PCIe Gen 3.0 x 1 interface that supports both PCIe NVMe and
SATA SSD cards. The full-size Mini PCIe socket supports only mSATA cards.

Accessing the System Board
The system board is equipped with 2 Mini PCIe slots: one full-size and one half-size slot. The full-
size Mini PCIe slot supports PCIe and USB interfaces whereas the half-size Mini PCIe slot supports
PCIe, USB and SATA interfaces (jumper switchable between PCIe and SATA). The PCIe sockets
are located on the main board; to access the main board, detach the expansion board on top of
it. Remove the screws that afx the front and back bezels as shown in the following pictures to
remove the expansion board from the system.

fasteners used on DB-9 and VGA
connectors

To install a Mini PCIe or an M.2 card:
1. Grasp the Mini PCIe card by its edges and align the notch of the card with the key in the
connector and insert the bottom edge of the card into the connector.
2. Push down on the other end of the card and use the provided mounting screw to secure the
card on the system board.
