A separate three-pin power supply socket with a grounding wire
must be used.
When the refrigerator is started, it should be noted that, an alarm
sound may be given out when the power supply plug is inserted
into the socket, and at this time, please press the memory and
alarm button 7 to stop alarming. When the refrigerator is powered
on again after power failure, repair, or cleaning, if an alarm sound
is given out, the memory and alarm button 7 may also be pressed.
The power cord must not be squeezed, folded, knotted,
or damaged. If the power cord has been damaged during
transportation or installation, please contact the local customer
service center immediately to have the cord replaced. There is
the risk of possible electrical shock or re if a damaged cord is
plugged into a power source.
The power supply plug must be removed from the socket during
refrigerator maintenance or cleaning.
To avoid breaking the cord, never directly pull the cord when
removing the plug from the socket.
To avoid explosion and re, it is forbidden to put inammable
or explosive materials, such as alcohol or gasoline, in the
refrigerator.
Never put glass bottles or cans containing liquid in the freezer
compartment, since they may crack or break after thorough
freezing.
Do not touch frozen food or metal containers in the freezer
compartment with wet hands, as ngers may be injured due to the
low temperature.
Warning-The refrigeration tubing must not be damaged. The
refrigerant in the tubing can cause serious injury if contacting the
eyes. In case of emergency, immediately wash the eyes and go
to a hospital for treatment.

Transportation
The refrigerator should not be moved by holding it by the
door or door handle. It should be lifted from the bottom.
The refrigerator should not be laid on its side or turned
upside down.
Placement
The refrigerator should be placed in a dry and well ventilated
room, with a side and back clearance at least 10 cm, and a
30 cm clearance on top.
The ventilation grid on the compressor cover at the back
of the refrigerator must not be covered or blocked. Avoid
placing the refrigerator close to a heat source or subjecting it
to direct sunlight.
Foot adjustment
When placing the refrigerator, please ensure that the two front
plastic foot screws can be adjusted to a proper height.
Place the refrigerator in a stable and level position. Adjust the two
foot screws with a at screwdriver or spanner on the side in the
direction shown by the arrow, so that the refrigerator can be kept
in an upright and stable condition. To avoid vibration and noise,
be sure the plastic foot screws are securely on the ground.

The rated voltage of the refrigerator is 220V, the rated frequency
50 Hz, and the permissible voltage uctuation range is 165-242V.
To ensure safe operation, the socket and its connection wires
must be able to withstand a current over 10 A.

Preparation before

Remove all packing components, including the foam pad
underneath the refrigerator, and pads and adhesive tapes inside
the refrigerator securing accessories.
Check and count all accessories and documents according to the
packing list.
Place the refrigerator at a proper location according to the related
instructions in "Transportation and Placement".
Clean the refrigerator compartment and freezer compartment
as well as the outside of the appliance, according to the related
instructions on Page 13.

Temperature Adjustment
Switching on
Insert the power cord and switch on the power supply.
The buzzer sounds an alarm sound, and the alarm indicator
light 4 is on; and the temperature display screen 2 of freezer
compartment begins to ickeringly display the set temperature
of the freezer compartment. Press the memory and alarm button
7 to turn off the buzzer. The alarm indicator light 4 remains on
until the freezer compartment temperature drops below -18
℃
.
When the refrigerator is rst powered on, if the temperature in
the refrigerator is higher than 19
℃
, the temperature display
screen 2 of the freezer compartment will display "-". Only after
the temperature drops below 19

, the screen 2 begins to
display the freezer compartment and the displayed temperature
drops when the temperature of the freezer compartment is
dropping.
Several minutes after switching on, both sides of the refrigerator
should feel warm, indicating that the refrigerating system is

Temperature Adjustment
Refrigerator compartment temperature adjustment
The refrigerator compartment temperature is adjusted by the
knob of the air door temperature controller. The temperature in
the compartments is gradually decreased from level

adjusted upon users’ requirements.
Freezer compartment temperature adjustment
When the temperature-adjusting button 5 of refrigerator
compartment is pressed, the screen 2 will display the current set
value (with the temperature being set upon leaving the factory

By pressing this button repeatedly, the set temperature may be
decreased by 1

for each press of the button. Press it until
the desired set value of the freezer compartment temperature

Refrigerator
Compartment
The refrigerator compartment is mainly
used for short-term storage of food.
Placement of Accessories
Glass shelf in the refrigerator compartment
The position of this shelf is adjustable to facilitate storage of
different types of food. It can be pulled out by lifting its back
portion.
Bottle shelf
The position of this exible shelf can be adjusted left or right as
needed to place or stack bottled items. The shelf also can be
taken out of the refrigerator when not used.
Vegetable basket
It is suitable for storing fruits and vegetable.
Bottle tray on door
They are used for storing eggs, bottled drinks, and other items.
The bottle tray on the door can be rearranged as required. The
tray can be removed by lifting it up gently.

Freezer Compartment
Operation
The freezer compartment is mainly used
for freezing food, storing frozen food, and
making ice cubes. It can freeze and store
food for a long period of time.
Placement of Accessories and Food
The freezer compartment is equipped with drawers, which can
be removed by pulling them out and lifting them gently.
The upper small drawer can freeze and store small sized food,
such as quick-frozen dumplings. The middle drawer can freeze
and store large-sized food.
The lower drawer is mainly for storing pre-frozen food.
Maximum Freezing Capacity and Super
Freezing
Maximum Freezing Capacity
The freezing capacity indicated in the Technical Parameters
refers to the amount of food that can be frozen at one time
within 24 hours (kg/24h) under standard conditions by pressing
the super freezing button.
Super freezing
This product is provided with the super freezing function to
enable fast freezing of fresh food. Press the Super button
6 and the super freezing indicator light 3 will be on and the
refrigerating system of the freezer compartment will run
continuously, so that the food can be frozen quickly to a
temperature suitable for retaining freshness.
If a large amount of food is to be frozen at one time, the super
freezing function should be started in advance to let the freezer
compartment temperature fall to a low temperature value
before the fool is put into the freezer.
If it is desired to exit from the super freezing mode in advance,
just press the Super button 6 again and the super freezing
indicator light 3 will be off. The super freezing function will be
deactivated automatically in 54 hours, if it is forgotten to be
switched off.
Do not put fresh food that is to be frozen directly on frozen
food.

Making ice cubes
In order to make ice cubes rapidly, you should adjust the freezer
compartment temperature to the lowest set value, or start the
super freezing function in advance.
Pour cool boiled water into the ice-maker until each ice-maker
compartment has been lled up, and then put the ice-maker
back into the upper small drawer of the freezer compartment
horizontally.
Pour cool boiled water into the ice-maker in an amount just
sufficient to fill up each ice-maker compartment; and an
excessive amount of water will make the ice surface form a
whole, thus bringing inconvenience when the ice cubes are
to be taken out as well as prolonging the ice cube making
procedure. Ice making capacity is more than 1700 grams
per 24 hours (according to the standard GB/T8059.4-93)
and the ice making procedure generally lasts for 2.5 hours.
Twist the ice-maker slightly and the ice cubes will drop out.
Storage Period of Frozen Food
On the front of the freezer drawer, there are printed icons of
different types of food and respective possible frozen storage
times (in months). The storage period must be taken into
consideration when freezing food.
For frozen food purchased from stores, the storage time should
be shortened according to the production date and shelf life on
the package.
Packing food to be frozen
Before freezing food, it is better to pack it up. This will help
prevent food from going bad or losing avor as well as guard
against odor tainting.
Place the food into a packing bag and squeeze it gently to
remove air from the bag as much as possible, and then seal it
tightly.
It is best to label each package with the date of freezing.

Methods for Thawing Frozen Food
Thawing can be done at an ambient temperature, in a
refrigerator compartment, on an electronic stove, or in a
microwave.
To refreeze defrozen food or newly defrozen food, please take
the following precautions:
The interval should not be too long.
Food is best boiled, fried, baked, or cooked thoroughly before
freezing.
Memory and alarm function
The refrigerator has a memory and alarm function, and when
the freezer compartment temperature is higher than an alarm
temperature, the buzzer will send alarm sounds, and the
alarm indicator light 4 is on, the temperature display screen 2
of freezer compartment begins to ickeringly display the set
temperature of the freezer compartment. Press the memory
and alarm button 7 to turn off the buzzer. The display 2 will
display the highest temperature that the freezer compartment
has reached for 5 seconds and then display the current freezer
compartment temperature.
The alarm sounds and the screen 2 blinks under the following
conditions:
Switching on again after a long power outage.
When a large amount of fresh food is placed in the freezer
compartment at one time.
The freezer compartment door has been kept open for a long
period of time.

Key Points for Energy
Saving
Generally, the interior and exterior of the
refrigerator should be cleaned every a month,
and please take the following precautions
during cleaning.
The power supply plug must be unplugged before cleaning.
Ensure that no water enters the electric light box during
cleaning.
Wash the refrigerator with a soft cloth dipped in lukewarm water
or a neutral cleaner and then clean it with a dry cloth.
Cleaner containing abrasives (such as toothpaste), acids, or
chemical solvent (such as alcohol), or bufng compounds must
not be used.
The refrigerator should be placed in a dry and well-ventilated
location, and should not be close to a heat source or exposed to
direct sunlight.
Hot food should be cooled to the ambient temperature before
being put into the refrigerator.
The frozen food can be defrozen in the refrigerator
compartment, which may contribute to cooling the refrigerator
compartment.
The refrigerator door should not be opened unnecessarily.
Ensure that the temperature sensors of the freezer compartment
are not covered or contacting food; it is best to keep a distance
of 5-8 cm there-between.

Switching off the Appliance
The power supply plug of the refrigerator can be unplugged
directly, if the appliance needs to be switched off.
If the refrigerator is to remain unused for a long period, please
perform the following steps: switch off the refrigerator rstly;
then defrost and clean; and nally, keep the door slightly open to
prevent odors from generating.
Do not stop the use of the refrigerator under normal
circumstance; otherwise, its lifespan will be adversely affected.
Power Failure
Reduce the frequency of door opening and do not put fresh food
into the refrigerator (to prevent a rapid rise in temperature).
If you know the power supply is going to be out, turn on the
super freezing switch in advance (by pressing the super freezing
button), and extra ice cubes can also be made and placed at the
upper portion of the refrigerator compartment, so as to further
lower the temperature.

Common Problems
Dew water on the external surface of the refrigerator
This may occur when the humidity in the atmosphere is high.
Simply wipe it dry.
Warming of the door frame peripheral of the freezer
compartment
This is a special provision to prevent freezing or condensation
around the freezer compartment door.
Warming of left and right side panels
The condenser is close to the inside of the left and right side
panels. The refrigerator will dissipate heat via the condenser
during operation. The side panel temperature can be about 50
℃
in summer when the ambient temperature is high.
Hot compressor
The housing temperature of the compressor can reach about 80
℃
when the refrigerator is running.
Noise of water owing in the refrigerator
This is the noise of the refrigerant owing in the tubing when the
refrigerating system is running.
Cracking noise in the refrigerator
This results from the expansion and contraction of the innerliner
and refrigerating tubing when the refrigerator is running. The
compressor will not start when the voltage is too low. A power
stabilizer of, or above 500 W should be used.
Humming vibrating noise
A slight humming noise can be heard in the compressor when the
refrigerator is running. If the refrigerator is not level, vibrations
and other noise may occur. Follow the instructions on Page 5 to
level the refrigerator.
Long time operation
During the summer, when the ambient temperature is high, the
compressor will start more frequently and run for a longer time
than it normally would.
Power consumption is higher than the indicated value level
The rated power consumption given in the Technical Specication
is the value measured according to the national standard, i.e., the
refrigerator operating steadily for 24h in an ambient temperature
of 25
℃
with the refrigerator compartment temperature controlled
at 5
℃, the freezer compartment temperature controlled at -18℃
and the door kept closed. When a lot of food is cooling, the
ambient temperature is high, or the door is opened frequently, it is
normal that the actual power consumption will be higher than the
indicated value.

General Knowledge of Refrigerators (I)
To take full advantage of the refrigerator, please read the following
noise tips. It could assist you in eliminating noise annoyance
caused by improper placements or use and provide you with a quiet
environment.
Level the appliance
Adjust the height of the front feet of the
refrigerator, and ensure an upright and stable
placement.
Place the refrigerator away
from other appliances
Place the refrigerator away from other
appliances to prevent resonance between the
refrigerator and other adjacent appliances.
Keep gaps between containers
Please keep gaps between bowls, dishes, wine
bottles, and the like as much as possible to
avoid collision due to close placement.
Check if accessories, such as the drawers,
vegetable basket, etc, are loose or collide
with each other. If so, violent shaking may
happen in a highly-effective refrigerator, but
may disappear as soon as the accessories are
properly placed. Furthermore, putting some
food in empty freezer drawers may also reduce
noise.

General Knowledge of Refrigerators (II)
The running of the compressor and circulation of refrigerant are used
to lower the temperature in the refrigerator, thus keeping food fresh
and nutritious. A little noise may break out during operation. Do not
worry, since it is normal and will not interfere with your use of the
refrigerator.
Humming noise
When the compressor is running, the noise
may be higher when it starts. The humming
noise of the highly effective refrigerator may be
somewhat higher due to the powerful working
condition of the compressor.
"Clicking" noise
This is caused by the temperature controller
when the compressor is turned on or turned off
the compressor.
Whirring noise
This is caused by the air ow when the fan
of a frost-free refrigerator or fan-equipped
refrigerator is running. Fan rotating ensures
a quick decrease and an equilibration of
temperature, and also it is vital for keeping
food fresh and nutritious.
Bubbling and gurgling noise
The inner temperature would fall down quickly
when the refrigerant is owing through the
refrigeration tubing. Slight noise may come out
during owing, since two forms of refrigerant
exist, gaseous and liquid.
