Thermostat Installation Instructions
1. Place o-ring and retainer in counterbore as illustrated.
2. Place spring over thermal element.
3. Install thermal element and spring in bowl, snapping into place.
4. Test operation by flowing warm to hot water over thermal element. The
element will extend and prevent water from flowing out of hose barb.
NOTE: Thermal element must be restrained or stored in cool place when not
installed in bowl assembly.
