This product is the AC adapter for input : 100-240VAC and output : +12VDC. This product can be used for the
CONTEC’s following models. (It is not possible to use it excluding the target model.)

*1 This AC power cable is for the voltage of the 100VAC or less.
In the case that the voltage that this cable uses do not match you need to prepare other cable particularly.
Do not use this AC power cable with any devices except for an attached AC adaptor.

Using method
- Make sure that the AC power cable is not plugged into a wall outlet.
- Connect the AC power cable to the main body of AC adaptor connector (CN1).
- Connect the DC cable of AC adapter to the target device. For more details on the position of connector, refer to the
manual for the device to which you will connect.
- Plug the AC power cable into a wall outlet.
* This product has no power switch. When turning off, unplug the AC power cable from the wall outlet.
Restrictions in using the AC adapter with a panel computer
This AC adapter can be used as a power supply for panel computers PT-955LX-DCxxxx, PT-955LXF-DCxxxx,
PT-955HX-DCxxxx, PT-955HXF-DCxxxx, PT-955SLX-DCxxxx and PT-955SHX-DCxxxx. However, some
restrictions mentioned below apply.
- The current consumption of USB + 5VDC should be 1.0A or less for four ports in total.
Installation Procedure of AC adapter
When installing the AC adapter on the box computer, refer to the following diagram.
- BX-100n-DCxxxx-C01, PT-955LX-DCxxxx, PT-955LXF-DCxxxx, PT-955HX-DCxxxx, PT-955HXF-DCxxxx, PT-955SLX-DCxxxx
and PT-955SHX-DCxxxx cannot install the AC adaptor in the main body.

Disposal
When disposing of the product, follow the disposal procedures stipulated under the relevant laws and municipal
ordinances.
Storage
When storing this product, keep it in its original packing form.
- Wrap it in the packing material, and then put it in the box.
- Store the package at room temperature at a place free from direct sunlight, moisture, shock, vibration, magnetism,
and static electricity.
Handling Precautions
Indicates dos and don'ts that are assumed to result in possible death or serious injury if they are inappropriately handled ignoring this icon.
- Do not use the product in locations exposed to a flammable or corrosive gas. It may cause explosion, fire, electrical shock, or malfunction.
- If you sense abnormality (smoke, odor, or noise), immediately unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and contact the CONTEC sales
representative or sales office.
- To avoid electrocution do not use the product with a wet hand.
- Be sure to connect the product to the stipulated power supply voltage. Connecting to a different voltage might cause a fire or electrical shock.
- Do not use the product with the other power device. It may cause fire or malfunction.
- When the cable or main body is damaged, stop using and repair it immediately. Using it as it is may cause fire, electrical shock or malfunction.
- Never disassemble or modify the product or replace its parts in order to prevent electrical shock, fire, or malfunction. CONTEC reserves the right to
refuse servicing the product modified by the user. When any part of the product needs to be replaced at the expiration of its life or due to breakdown,
please contact the CONTEC sales representative or sales office.
- Use the product with the specified models by the CONTEC. Not doing so may cause fire or malfunction.
- Use the product in the specified operating condition (temperature and humidity)
- Please make sure to observe the restrictions in using it with a panel computer.

- Do not use or store the product in a location exposed to extremely high or low temperature or susceptible to a rapid temperature change. Example:
- Exposure to direct sun - In the vicinity of a heat source
- When unplugging the cable, hold the plug. Holding and pulling the cable itself can cause a failure such as discontinuity.
- To clean the product wipe it gently with soft cloth damp with either water or mild detergent.
Do not use chemicals or a volatile solvent, such as benzene and thinner, to prevent peeling or discoloration of the paint.
- When transporting the product, provide adequate measures to protect it from vibration or shock.
