1. SAFETY INFORMATION

Before the installation and use of the appliance, careful-

ly read the supplied instructions. The manufacturer is

not responsible if an incorrect installation and use cau-

ses injuries and damages. Always keep the instructions

with the appliance for future reference.

1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety

WARNING!

Risk of suffocation, injury or permanent disability.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8

years and above and persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience

and knowledge if they are supervised by an adult or a

person who is responsible for their safety.

• Do not let children play with the appliance.

• Keep all packaging away from children.

• Keep children and pets away from the appliance

when it operates or when it cools down. Accessible

parts are hot.

• If the appliance has a child safety device, we recom-

mend that you activate it.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.

1.2 General Safety

• The appliance and its accessible parts become hot

during use. Do not touch the heating elements.

• Do not operate the appliance by means of an exter-

nal timer or separate remote-control system.

• Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil can be

dangerous and may result in fire.

• Never try to extinguish a fire with water, but switch off

the appliance and then cover flame e.g. with a lid or a

fire blanket.

• Do not store items on the cooking surfaces.

• Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance.

• Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids

should not be placed on the hob surface since they

can get hot.

• If the glass ceramic surface is cracked, switch off the

appliance to avoid the possibility of electric shock.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

2.1 Installation

WARNING!

Only a qualified person must in-

stall this appliance.

• Remove all the packaging.

• Do not install or use a damaged appli-

ance.

• Obey the installation instruction sup-

plied with the appliance.

• Keep the minimum distance from the

other appliances and units.

• Always be careful when you move the

appliance because it is heavy. Always

wear safety gloves.

• Seal the cut surfaces with a sealant to

prevent moisture to cause swelling.

• Protect the bottom of the appliance

from steam and moisture.

• Do not install the appliance adjacent

to a door or under a window. This pre-

vents hot cookware to fall from the ap-

pliance when the door or the window

is opened.

• If the appliance is installed above

drawers make sure that the space, be-

tween the bottom of the appliance

and the upper drawer, is sufficient for

air circulation.

• The bottom of the appliance can get

hot. Make sure to install a non-com-

bustile separation panel under the ap-

pliance to prevent access to the bot-

tom.

Electrical connection

WARNING!

Risk of fire and electrical shock.

• All electrical connections must be

made by a qualified electrician.

• The appliance must be earthed.

• Before carrying out any operation

make sure that the appliance is dis-

connected from the power supply.

• Use the correct electricity mains cable.

• Do not let the electricity mains cable

tangle.

• Make sure the mains cable or plug (if

applicable) does not touch the hot ap-

pliance or hot cookware, when you

connect the appliance to the near

sockets

• Make sure the appliance is installed

correctly. Loose and incorrect electrici-

ty mains cable or plug (if applicable)

can make the terminal become too

hot.

• Make sure that a shock protection is

installed.

• Use the strain relief clamp on cable.

• Make sure not to cause damage to the

mains plug (if applicable) or to the

mains cable. Contact the Service or an

electrician to change a damaged

mains cable.

• The electrical installation must have an

isolation device which lets you discon-

nect the appliance from the mains at

all poles. The isolation device must

have a contact opening width of mini-

mum 3 mm.

• Use only correct isolation devices: line

protecting cut-outs, fuses (screw type

fuses removed from the holder), earth

leakage trips and contactors.

2.2 Use

Risk of injury, burns or electric

shock.

• Remove all the packaging, labelling

and protective film (if applicable) be-

fore first use.

• Use this appliance in a household en-

vironment.

• Do not change the specification of this

appliance.

• Do not let the appliance stay unatten-

ded during operation.

• Do not operate the appliance with wet

hands or when it has contact with wa-

ter.

• Do not put cutlery or saucepan lids on

the cooking zones. They become hot.

• Set the cooking zone to “off” after

use.

• Do not use the appliance as a work

surface or as a storage surface.

• If the surface of the appliance is

cracked, disconnect immediately the

appliance from the power supply. This

to prevent an electrical shock.

• When you place food into hot oil, it

may splash.

WARNING!

Risk of fire or explosion.

• Fats and oil when heated can release

flammable vapours. Keep flames or

heated objects away from fats and oils

when you cook with them.

• The vapours that very hot oil releases

can cause spontaneous combustion.

• Used oil, that can contain food rem-

nants, can cause fire at a lower tem-

perature than oil used for the first

time.

• Do not put flammable products or

items that are wet with flammable

products in, near or on the appliance.

Risk of damage to the appliance.

• Do not keep hot cookware on the con-

trol panel.

• Do not let cookware to boil dry.

• Be careful not to let objects or cook-

ware fall on the appliance. The surface

can be damaged.

• Do not activate the cooking zones

with empty cookware or without cook-

ware.

• Do not put aluminium foil on the ap-

pliance.

• Cookware made of cast iron, alumini-

um or with a damaged bottom can

cause scratches on the glass or glass

ceramic. Always lift these objects up

when you have to move them on the

cooking surface.

2.3 Care and Cleaning

WARNING!

Risk of damage to the appliance.

• Clean regularly the appliance to pre-

vent the deterioration of the surface

material.

• Do not use water spray and steam to

clean the appliance.

• Clean the appliance with a moist soft

cloth. Only use neutral detergents. Do

not use abrasive products, abrasive

cleaning pads, solvents or metal ob-

jects.

2.4 Disposal

WARNING!

Risk of injury or suffocation.

• Contact your municipal authority for

information on how to discard the ap-

pliance correctly.

• Disconnect the appliance from the

mains supply.

• Cut off the mains cable and discard it.

4. DAILY USE

4.1 Activation and

deactivation

Touch for 1 second to activate or de-

activate the appliance.

4.2 Automatic Switch Off

The function deactivates the appliance

5.1 Cookware

Information about the cookware

• The bottom of the cookware must be

as thick and flat as possible.

• Cookware made of enamelled steel

and with aluminium or copper bot-

toms can cause the colour change on

the glass-ceramic surface.

5.2 Energy saving

How to save energy

• If it is possible, always put the lids on

the cookware.

• Put cookware on a cooking zone be-

fore you start it.

• Stop the cooking zones before the

end of the cooking time to use residu-

al heat.

• The bottom of pans and cooking

zones must have the same dimension.

6. CARE AND CLEANING

Clean the appliance after each use.

Always use cookware with clean bottom.

Scratches or dark stains on the

glass-ceramic cause no effect on

how the appliance operates.

To remove the dirt:

– Remove immediately: melted

plastic, plastic foil, and food with

sugar. If not, the dirt can cause

damage to the appliance. Use a

special scraper for the glass . Put

the scraper on the glass surface at

an acute angle and move the

blade on the surface .

– Remove after the appliance is

sufficiently cool: limescale rings ,

water rings, fat stains, shiny metal-

lic discolorations. Use a special

cleaning agent for glass ceramic

or stainless steel.

Clean the appliance with a moist

cloth and some detergent.

At the end rub the appliance dry

with a clean cloth.

correctly. If not the servicing by a cus-

tomer service technician or dealer will

not be free of charge, also during the

warranty period. The instructions about

the customer service and conditions of

guarantee are in the guarantee booklet.

σκευαστής δεν ευθύνεται αν προκληθεί τραυματισμός ή

ζημιά από λανθασμένη εγκατάσταση και χρήση. Να φυ‐

λάσσετε πάντα αυτές τις οδηγίες μαζί με τη συσκευή για

2.1 Εγκατάσταση

ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ

Η εγκατάσταση αυτής της συ‐

σκευής πρέπει να εκτελείται μόνο

από κατάλληλα καταρτισμένο

άτομο.

• Αφαιρέστε όλα τα υλικά της συσκευα‐

σίας.

• Εάν η συσκευή έχει υποστεί ζημιά, μην

προβείτε σε εγκατάσταση ή χρήση της.

• Ακολουθείτε τις οδηγίες εγκατάστασης

που παρέχονται με τη συσκευή.

• Τηρείτε την ελάχιστη απόσταση από

τις άλλες συσκευές και μονάδες.

• Να είστε πάντα προσεκτικοί κατά τη

μετακίνηση της συσκευής, καθότι είναι

βαριά. Φοράτε πάντα γάντια ασφα‐

λείας.

• Στεγανοποιήστε τις κομμένες επιφά‐

νειες με υλικό στεγανοποίησης, ώστε

να αποτραπεί η διόγκωσή τους από

την υγρασία.

• Προστατέψτε το κάτω μέρος της συ‐

σκευής από ατμούς και υγρασία.

• Μην τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή δίπλα σε

πόρτα ή κάτω από παράθυρο. Έτσι,

αποτρέπεται η πτώση ζεστών μαγειρι‐

κών σκευών από τη συσκευή κατά το

άνοιγμα της πόρτας ή του παραθύρου.

• Εάν η συσκευή είναι εγκατεστημένη

επάνω από συρτάρια, διασφαλίστε ότι

ο χώρος ανάμεσα στο κάτω μέρος της

συσκευής και το επάνω συρτάρι είναι

επαρκής για την κυκλοφορία αέρα.

• Το κάτω μέρος της συσκευής μπορεί

να θερμανθεί πολύ. Φροντίστε να το‐

ποθετήσετε ένα άκαυστο διαχωριστικό

πλαίσιο κάτω από τη συσκευή για να

αποφεύγεται η πρόσβαση στο κάτω

μέρος.

Ηλεκτρική σύνδεση

ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ

Κίνδυνος πυρκαγιάς και ηλεκτρο‐

πληξίας.

• Όλες οι ηλεκτρικές συνδέσεις πρέπει

να πραγματοποιούνται από επαγγελ‐

ματία ηλεκτρολόγο.

• Η συσκευή πρέπει να είναι γειωμένη.

• Πριν από την εκτέλεση οποιασδήποτε

εργασίας, βεβαιωθείτε ότι η συσκευή

έχει αποσυνδεθεί από την παροχή

ρεύματος.

• Χρησιμοποιήστε κατάλληλο καλώδιο

ρεύματος.

• Μην επιτρέπετε στο καλώδιο ρεύματος

να μπερδεύεται.

• Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το καλώδιο ρεύματος ή

το φις (κατά περίπτωση) δεν έρχονται

σε επαφή με τη ζεστή συσκευή ή με ζε‐

στά μαγειρικά σκεύη κατά τη σύνδεση

της συσκευής στην πρίζα ρεύματος

• Βεβαιωθείτε ότι η συσκευή έχει εγκατα‐

σταθεί σωστά. Οι χαλαρές ή λανθα‐

σμένες συνδέσεις στο καλώδιο ρεύμα‐

τος ή το φις (κατά περίπτωση), μπο‐

ρούν να οδηγήσουν σε υπερθέρμανση

του ακροδέκτη.

• Βεβαιωθείτε ότι έχει εγκατασταθεί προ‐

στασία από την ηλεκτροπληξία.

• Τοποθετήστε το συνδετήρα ανακούφι‐

σης καταπόνησης στο καλώδιο.

• Προσέχετε να μην προκληθεί ζημιά

στο φις τροφοδοσίας (κατά περίπτω‐

ση) ή στο καλώδιο ρεύματος. Επικοι‐

νωνήστε με το Σέρβις ή έναν ηλεκτρο‐

λόγο για την αλλαγή ενός κατεστραμ‐

μένου καλωδίου ρεύματος.

• Στην ηλεκτρική εγκατάσταση της συ‐

σκευής πρέπει να προβλέπεται μονω‐

τική διάταξη που να επιτρέπει την απο‐

σύνδεση της συσκευής από το δίκτυο

ρεύματος από όλους τους πόλους. Η

μονωτική διάταξη πρέπει να έχει ελάχι‐

στη απόσταση 3 χιλιοστών μεταξύ των

επαφών.

• Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο σωστές διατάξεις

απομόνωσης: ασφαλειοδιακόπτες,

ασφάλειες (βιδωτές ασφάλειες αφαι‐

ρούμενες από την υποδοχή), διακό‐

πτες διαφυγής ρεύματος και ρελέ.

2.2 Χρήση

Κίνδυνος τραυματισμού, εγκαυ‐

μάτων ή ηλεκτροπληξίας.

• Αφαιρέστε όλα τα υλικά συσκευασίας,

τις ετικέτες και την προστατευτική μεμ‐

βράνη (κατά περίπτωση), πριν από

την πρώτη χρήση.

• Χρησιμοποιείτε αυτή τη συσκευή σε οι‐

κιακό περιβάλλον.

• Μην αλλάζετε τις προδιαγραφές αυτής

της συσκευής.

• Μην αφήνετε τη συσκευή χωρίς επιτή‐

ρηση όταν μαγειρεύετε.

• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή με

βρεγμένα χέρια ή όταν βρίσκεται σε

θεσης αντικειμένων.

• Εάν υπάρξουν ρωγμές στην επιφάνεια

της συσκευής, αποσυνδέστε αμέσως

τη συσκευή από την ηλεκτρική παρο‐

χή. Αυτό απαιτείται για αποτροπή τυ‐

χόν ηλεκτροπληξίας.

• Όταν βάζετε φαγητό σε καυτό λάδι,

• Μην τοποθετείτε αλουμινόχαρτο επά‐

νω στη συσκευή.

• Τα μαγειρικά σκεύη από χυτοσίδηρο,

αλουμίνιο ή αυτά με φθαρμένη βάση

μπορούν να χαράξουν τη γυάλινη ή

την υαλοκεραμική επιφάνεια. Πρέπει

πάντα να ανασηκώνετε αυτά τα αντι‐

κείμενα όταν απαιτείται η μετακίνησή

τους επάνω στην επιφάνεια μαγειρέμα‐

τος.

2.3 Φροντίδα και καθάρισμα

Υπάρχει κίνδυνος πρόκλησης ζη‐

• Καθαρίζετε τακτικά τη συσκευή για να

αποτραπεί η φθορά του υλικού της

ατμό για τον καθαρισμό της συσκευής.

• Καθαρίστε τη συσκευή με ένα υγρό μα‐

τερα απορρυπαντικά. Μη χρησιμο‐

ποιείτε λειαντικά προϊόντα, σφουγγα‐

ράκια που χαράσσουν, διαλύτες ή με‐

μπορούν να προκαλέσουν αλλαγή

χρώματος στην υαλοκεραμική επιφά‐

νεια.

5.2 Εξοικονόμηση ενέργειας

Πώς να εξοικονομείτε ενέργεια

• Εάν είναι δυνατόν, κλείνετε πάντα τα
