ESAB LHH-tester

The ESAB LHH-tester is a trigger pulse generator which generates trigger pulses at a frequency of 800 Hz +/- 1%. It is used for troubleshooting in the LHH welding rectifiers. No separate power source is required: the tester only has to be connected to the welding rectifier, replacing the printed circuit board K70.

The LHH-tester can be used to:

  • Test the power unit of the LHH welding rectifier
  • Check the secondary voltage phase position on the main transformer K1
  • Measure the trigger pulse to thyristor K91.1
  • Check the current transformer K42
  • Check the pulsation voltage (ripple)
