NOTE: Some installation runs exceed 60 feet (18 meters) for condensate, 32 feet (9 meters) for waste. In these cases,
Standoffs can be stacked using dovetails provided.
1. Align Universal Pipe Clamp to
Standoff using the ruler
indicator*, snap Universal Pipe
Clamp onto Standoff at pitch
interval needed to meet local,
state or federal building code
requirements**. Ensure teeth on
Universal Pipe Clamp snap into
teeth on Standoff.
2. Secure Standoff base onto
substrate (i.e. floor or ceiling
joists, plywood, etc.) in
appropriate location per building
code. Use minimum of two
screws in opposing slots provided
for better stability. Four screws
are recommended for all
standoffs.
3. Push pipe into side opening
on Universal Pipe Clamp to
secure.

(ie. Air Handler, Condensing Furnace, Drip Pan, etc.)
Before installation, please refer to codes and
Equipment Manufacturer Requirements.
To the termination point.
(i.e. Outside, Condensate Pump, Basin, etc.)
For this example:
Piping for this application is 3/4 inch PVC. The pipe
needs to be supported and secured every 4 feet
(per code). The pitch minimum is 1/8 inch per foot
for condensate. This is equivalant to 1/2 inch every
4 feet.
The source and termination point are 24 feet apart.
5 Perfect Pitch Standoffs are needed for this
application.
Set first Universal Pipe Clamp at desired
height on built-in scale.
For this example, first clamp was set so the bottom
of the pipe was 1/2 inch above substrate (i.e. floor,
beams, plywood, etc.)
Secure Standoff.
Standoffs were secured with 3/4 inch #12
screws. (Recommended)
Set next Standoff.
In this example, a Standoff was placed 4 feet from
previous Standoff. Universal Pipe Clamp was set
1/2 inch above previous Clamp.
Repeat and continue until you reach
desired source.
In this example, the source is an air handler’s
condensate.
Push pipe into Universal Pipe
Clamps.

Para este ejemplo:
Tuberías para esta aplicación es 3/4 pulgadas de tubería
de PVC.
La tubería debe mantener y fijar cada 4 pies (por código).
El paso mínimo es 1/8 pulgada por el pie para
condensado.
Esto es equivalente a 1/2 pulgada cada 4 pies.
La fuente y el punto de terminación son 24 pies aparte.
5 Perfect Pitch Standoffs son necesarios para esta
aplicación.
Configurar el primer Universal Pipe Clamp a la

etc...
En este ejemplo Standoffs estaban asegurado con tornillos
3/4 pulgada de chapa. (Recomendado)
Ajuste el Standoff siguiente.
En este ejemplo, la primera Standoff se colocó 4 pies de
Standoff anterior.
Universal Pipe Clamp se fijó 1/2 pulgada encima la
abrazadera anterior.
Repetir y continuar hasta que llegue a la
fuente deseada.
En este ejemplo, la fuente es el controlador de
condensado de aire.
Coloque la tubería en la Universal Pipe
Clamp.
