read these operatinginstructions verycarefully before you start using thisunit.

This product meets the requirements of the current European and national guidelines. Conformity has been established

and the relevant statements anddocuments havebeen deposited by themanufacturer.

 This device hasbeen designed toproduce decorative effect lightingand is used in light show systems.

 RGB Multicolorflexible ropelight (round, D=14mm) withsuper bright LEDs inside.

 Perfect forindoor and outdoormulticolor façade decorationof bars, discotheques, shops, …

 Can be bended to follow the shape of walls andcorners.

 Solid 4pinconnectorswith security lock.

 To be used with our LED-MANAGER (dmxpower supply)

 Comes in 30 mlengths that can be cutevery 50cm.

 Lowpowerconsumption: 2 Watt/meter

 Power cables, middle connectors, end capsand mounting clips separately available.

Importantremark : The led rope does only work in cooperation with a separate device, the LED MANAGER (to control

the rope light by DMX). It’s impossible to use the led rope light separately.

 Before you start using this unit,please check if there’s no transportation damage. Shouldthere be any, do not use the

device and consult yourdealer first.

 Important: This device left our factory in perfect condition and well packaged. It is absolutely necessary for the user to

strictly follow the safety instructions and warnings in this user manual. Any damage caused by mishandling is not

subject to warranty. The dealer will not accept responsibility for any resulting defects or problems caused by

disregardingthisuser manual.

SOME IMPORTANT REMARKS:

 With all LEDs switched on, thisrope lightconsumes about 2 Watts/meter. This means you can connect up to 150m on

1 LED MANAGER (75m on each output: 2x 75m = 150m)

 The rope light canbe cut every 50cm (cutting marks available)

 This product can be used inindoor and outdoor situations, the maximum ambient temperature is 45°C.

!!This LED RGBrope lightcan only be used together with theJB SYSTEMS

LED MANAGER !!

!!!DON’T CONNECT DIRECTLY TO230 Vac!!!

Don’t use lengths over 30m, theinternal conductors willbe overloaded which will damage therope light!! (

SOME ACCESSORIES EXPLAINED:

 POWER CABLE: this power cable is used to connect the rope light to the LED MANAGER. This can be done by

simplyconnecting the conductorsof the powercable with the coloredconductors ofthe cables delivered with the LED

MANAGER.

 MIDDLECONNECTOR:

Used to link 2pieces of LED RGB rope light together.

 ENDCAP: Used to seal the end of a rope light.

 MOUNTING TRACKS (2m): Used to guide the rope light when it is installed on a flat surface. You will be come a

nicely aligned straightrope light.

INSTALLING THE LED ROPE LIGHT:

You can installthe rope light easily on any surface, we suggest using the optional mounting tracks. Do NOT use lengths

over 30m, this may damage the internal conductors! When you have to install lengths over 30m, just split up the

installation in several individual lengths. With a sharp cutting device (very sharphobby knife or wire cutter) you can easily

cut the rope light on the cutting marks ( scissor symbol every 50cm) to split it up in several parts. See “how to make a

length of over 30m” for more info!

3. WHEN YOU CONNECT WITH THE POWER CABLE, ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT THE 24V

SIGN ON THE CABLEIS ON YOUR RIGHT

HOW TO MAKE A LENGTH OF OVER 30M ?

This is an example for 2 pieces with a combined length of 50m.

1. 24 VPower LED rope

2. LED Manager cable assembly

3. 4 conductorcable

4. 24 VPowercable

INSTALLING THE MOUNTING TRACKS:

Use a small hacksaw to cut the mounting tracks to the desired lengths. You can fix them to the surface using strong glue

or small screws. When all tracks are in place youjust have to press the ropelight in the mounting tracks. Done!

LINKING 2 LED ROPE LIGHTS:

Remove the sealing rings on both sides of the middle connector and push the sealing rings over the 2 rope light ends.

Press the 4sharppins of themiddle connectorin the 4conductor holes of 1rope light.

Attention: the holes and pins are a little out of the center, make sure to insert the pins in the right way and push the

middle connector as far aspossible on the rope light! Put the sealingring back in place and tighten it well. Do exactly the

same thing withthe other ropelight end. Ready!

INSTALLING THE POWER CABLE:

The power cable comes together with a rope light connector that must be installed on the rope light first. Refer to the

pictures 1 and 2below.

Attention: the holes and pins are a little out of the center, make sure to insert the pins in the right way and push the

connector from the power cable as far as possible on the rope light! Put the sealing ring back in place and tighten it well.

Strip the other end of the power cable and connect it to one of the two small cable assemblies that came with the led

manager. Referto picture 3 for the corresponding colours ofthe wires!

INSTALLING THE END CAP:

The end of the rope light must be sealed. To make it waterproof you must put some silicon on the inside of the cap

before you press it onthe ropelight.

CONNECTING 2 ROPE LIGHTS TROUGH A CABLE:

When you want to connect 2 led ropes trough a piece of cable, you put 2 power cables to each other. You do this as

shown below ( watch the color code + ropemarkings ! ) :

Blue Blauw/Bleu/Blau/Azul

Brown Bruin/Brun/Braun/Marrón/Marrom

Yellow-green Geel-groen/Jaune-vert/Gelb-grün/Amarillo-verde/Amarelo-verde

Black Zwart/Noir/Schwarz/Negro/Preto

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

 Onceconnected tothe LEDMANAGER the devicestarts running.

 Inthe event of serious operating problems, stop using thefixture and contact yourdealer immediately.

 Important: Never look directly into the light source! Don’t use the effect in the presence of persons suffering from

epilepsy.

MAINTENANCE

 Make sure the area below the installationplaceis free from unwanted persons during servicing.

 Switch offthe unit and unplug the mains.

Duringinspectionthefollowing pointsshould bechecked:

 All screws used forinstalling the device and any of its parts shouldbe tightly fastened and may not be corroded.

 Housings, fixations andinstallations spots (ceiling, truss, suspensions)should be totallyfree from any deformation.

 The mains cables must be in impeccable condition andshould be replaced immediately when even a small problemis

detected.
