Installation Requirements
Followtheseinstallationrequirementswhenassembling
theGLA400:
SetuptheGLA400onasolid,atsurface.Asmooth,
atsurfaceunderthemachinehelpskeepitlevel.A
levelmachinehasfewermalfunctions.
Provideamplespacearoundthemachine.Open
spacearoundthemachineallowsforeasieraccess.
Insertallboltsinthesamedirection.Foraesthetic
purposes,insertallboltsinthesamedirectionunless
specied(intextorillustrations)todootherwise.
Leaveroomforadjustments.Tightenfastenerssuchas
bolts,nuts,andscrewssotheunitisstable,butleave
roomforadjustments.Donotfullytightenfasteners
untilinstructedintheassemblystepstodoso.
Fill out and mail the warranty card.

toholdguiderodssteadilywheninstallingweightplates.
2F. InstallTopPlate(#34)ontotheGuideRods.
Note: Please make sure the grooves of the weight plates are faced
down during installation.
Option #2:
2C. InstallRisers(E) andslidetothebottomoftheGuideRods(D).
2D. InstallRubberDonuts(#31) andslidetothetopoftheRisers(E).
2F. InstallTopPlate(#34)ontotheGuideRods.
