batteries into the

Insert two size AAA batteries (supplied) by

matching e and E on the batteries to the

diagram inside the battery compartment of

the remote control.

1 Remove the protection sheet.

2 Press the latch and lift the cover to

open.

1: Attaching the

Table-Top

Stand

xRecommended (edge position)

Refer to the supplied Table-Top Stand

leaflet for proper attachment.

1 Remove the cushion of the right side 1,

and attach the Table-Top Stand to the

TV 2.

2 Repeat step 1 for the left side.

3 Fix the TV to the Table-Top Stand using

the supplied screws.

The arrow marks indicate the

location of the screw holes used for

securing the Table-Top Stand.

• If using an electric screwdriver, set the

torque at approximately 1.5 N·m {15 kgf·cm}.

• Two or more people are needed to carry out

this installation.

• Be careful not to pinch the finger during

installation.

the edge to the middle position by referring

to the instructions below.

• Ensure that there are no objects in front of the TV.

To detach the Table-Top Stand from the TV,

remove the screws .

• Do not remove the Table-Top Stand for any

reason other than to install corresponding

accessories on the TV.

• For bracket installation, refer to the instruction

guide provided by the Wall-Mount Bracket model

for your TV. Sufficient expertise is required in

installing this TV, especially to determine the

strength of the wall for withstanding the TV’s

weight.

If you do not wish to use the camera, hide it

as illustrated.

2: Connections

• Use an antenna (aerial) cable connector no

greater than 14 mm in thickness.

• Use an HDMI cable connector within 12 mm

(thickness) × 21 mm (width).

Sony strongly recommends that you use

the Wall-Mount Bracket model designed for

your TV and the wall-mounting of your TV

should be performed by Sony dealers or

licensed contractors.

The TV simultaneously charges the

MHL-compatible connected device while

playing album/music/video files. You can

use the TV remote control to control the

connected MHL-compatible device.

• If “Auto Input Change (MHL)” is set to “On”, the

TV automatically switches to HDMI 输入 1/MHL

from other input when MHL-compatible device is

connected to HDMI 输入 1/MHL jack. The

availability of “Auto Input Change (MHL)”

depends on whether the MHL-compatible device

can support this feature.

• If “MHL Charging during Standby” is set to “On”,

you can continue charging the MHL-compatible

device even when the TV is in standby mode.

3: Preventing the

TV from

toppling over

1 Install the machine screws* (M4, not

supplied) into the screw holes of the TV

and tie with a strong cord (not

supplied).

2 Install a wood screw* (not supplied) in

the TV stand. Then, tie the strong cord

to the wood screw.

* TV securing accessories package (sold separately)

• Please place the TV set on a stable, level

surface, if place on an unstable place, it may

cause TV set to topple over, fall down, and

cause injuries to people.

• Install the TV so that the TV's Table-Top Stand

does not protrude out from the TV stand (not

supplied). If the Table-Top Stand protrudes out

from the TV stand, it may cause the TV set to

topple over, fall down, and cause injuries to

people.

• For safety reasons, recommend to use securing

method as illustrated. Regarding the securing

accessories, it is recommended to buy from

those sold in market or buy the TV securing

accessories package which is sold separately

by Sony. If required, please contact Sony

customer service centre for help. Please refer

“after sales service website” for details (supplied

leaflet).

The length of the M4 machine screw

differs depending on the cord diameter.

4: Bundling the

cables

Before bundling the cables, remove the

cable holder from the AC cover.

• Do not bundle the AC power cord (mains lead)

together with other cables.

5: Connecting

the TV to the

Internet

When you connect this TV to the Internet,

you can enjoy multiple functions. For

details on the functions, refer to the

i-Manual.

• You will need to contract with an Internet service

provider to connect to the Internet.

• For more information, refer to the 操作指南 , then

select “Table of Contents” t “Connecting to the

Internet”.

• For LAN connections, use a Category 7 cable

(not supplied).

The built-in Wi-Fi device allows you to

access the Internet and your home

network. With this feature, you can connect

to a wireless network and enjoy the

benefits of networking in a cable-free

environment.

Before setting up the Wi-Fi function of the

TV, be sure to set up a wireless router

(access point).

6: Performing the

initial set-up

1 Connect the TV to your AC power outlet

(mains socket).

2 Press 电视电源 on the Touchpad

Remote Control.

The illumination LED will light up in

white.

When you switch on the TV for the first

time, the Language menu appears on

the screen.

• The illumination LED lights up in different

colours according to the status of the TV. If

you do not wish to light up the illumination

LED, you can turn it off later. Press 主菜单 ,

then select “Settings” t “System

Settings” t “General Set-up” t

“Illumination LED” t “Off”. You can also

press 选项 , then select “Illumination LED” t

“Off”.

3 Slide up/down/left/right to select an

item, then press the touchpad (press

V/v/B/b, then press if using IR

Remote Control).

Follow the instructions on the screen.

4 Set up the Internet connection by

selecting “Wi-Fi” or “Wired LAN”. If you

will not be using the network features of

the TV, or to set up later, select “Skip”.

• The TV will automatically detect and setup the

network when a wired connection is made

before the initial set-up.

• For customers who need to setup their

network connection with a Static IP address

and/or a Proxy server, select “Skip”. After

completing the initial set-up, press 主菜单 ,

then select “Settings” t

“Network”

t “Network Set-up” t “Set up network

connection” t “Expert”.

• If you use WEP security, select “Wi-Fi” t

“Connect by scan list”. Then, select the

network name (SSID) you want to connect to.

If you cannot find the required network name,

select “[Manual Entry]” and press the

touchpad (press

if using IR Remote

Control) to enter network name.

• To perform “Network Set-up” later, press 主菜

单 , then select “Settings” t

“Network” t “Network Set-up”.

• The TV will automatically search for a

software update after the network is setup

and will try to automatically detect your

region.





Watching TV

1 Turn on the TV.

Press "/1 on the TV or 电视电源 on

the Touchpad Remote Control to turn

on the TV.

2 Press Control Bar (....).

The Screen Key Pad is displayed on

the screen.

3 Slide left/right to select “ 数

字/模拟”, then press the

touchpad to select a mode.

4 Press Control Bar (....).

Slide left/right to select a TV

channel or input, then

press the touchpad.

xTo select digital channels

Use 0-9 on the Screen Key Pad. For

channel numbers 10 and above, select the

next digit quickly then press the touchpad.

When using IR Remote Control

1 Press "/1 on the TV or 电视电源 on the

remote control to turn on the TV.

2 Press 模拟 / 数字 to select a mode.

3 Press 频道 +/-, 0-9 or 输入选择 to select

a TV channel or select an input.

Use 0-9 to select digital channels. For

channel numbers 10 and above, press the

next digit quickly.

Using the remote

control

You can operate the TV by using the

supplied Touchpad Remote Control or IR

Remote Control.

• Touchpad Remote Control can only be used after

registration with the TV. You can register the

Touchpad Remote Control by pressing

see the main gesture commands that are

available for the current TV screen.

1 Touch and keep your finger on the

centre of the touchpad to display the

Touchpad Operation Guide.

2 Slide to select “Help”, then press the

touchpad.

Tutorial”, then press the touchpad.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

Using Your BRAVIA TV

Discovering the

contents you like

(Discover)

You can use Discover to search for content

(such as TV programmes, Internet

contents, etc.). Contents that appear in

Discover vary depending on your TV

model/region/country.

1 Slide up from the bottom

area.

2 Slide up/down to select the

desired category.

3 Slide left/right to select the

desired item, then press the

touchpad.

The selected content is displayed.

When using IR Remote Control

1 Press 兴趣探索 .

2 Press V/v to select the desired

category.

3 Press B/b to select the desired item,

then press . The selected content is

displayed.

Enjoying social

networking while

watching TV

(Social Viewing)

Social Viewing brings the benefits of social

networking to your TV viewing experience.

Press 社交评论 to check what others are

saying about the show from on-screen

comments. The available features in Social

Viewing may vary depending on your TV

model/region/country. You will need a

broadband Internet connection. For details,

see page 15 (5: Connecting the TV to the

Internet). Then, go to “Network Set-up” and

follow the on-screen instructions to connect

your TV to the Internet.

• You may need to update the TV’s software to use

this function. Press 主菜单, select “Help” t

“Customer Support” t “Software Update”.
