orGME).Ourcontactdetailsaresetoutinclause2.7.This
warrantystatementonlyappliestoproductspurchasedin
Australia.PleasecontactyourlocalGMEdistributorfor
productssoldoutsideofAustralia.Localdistributordetailsat

1. Consumer guarantees
1.1Ourgoodscomewithguaranteesthatcannotbe
excludedundertheAustralianConsumerLaw.You
areentitledtoareplacementorrefundforamajor
failureandforcompensationforanyotherreasonably
foreseeablelossordamage.Youarealsoentitledto
havethegoodsrepairedorreplacedifthegoodsfail
tobeofacceptablequalityandthefailuredoesnot
amounttoamajorfailure.
1.2Totheextentweareable,weexcludeallother
conditions,warrantiesandobligationswhichwould
otherwisebeimplied.
2. Warranty against defects
2.1Thiswarrantyisinadditiontoanddoesnotlimit,
excludeorrestrictyourrightsundertheCompetition
andConsumerAct2010(Australia)oranyother
mandatoryprotectionlawsthatmayapply.
2.2Wewarrantourgoodstobefreefromdefectsin
materialsandworkmanshipforthewarrantyperiod
(seewarrantytable)fromthedateoforiginalsale(or
anotherperiodweagreetoinwriting).Subjecttoour
obligationsunderclause1.2,wewillatouroption,
eitherrepairorreplacegoodswhichwearesatised
aredefective.Wewarrantanyreplacementpartsforthe
remainderoftheperiodofwarrantyforthegoodsinto
whichtheyareincorporated.
2.3Totheextentpermittedbylaw,oursoleliabilityfor
breachofacondition,warrantyorotherobligation
impliedbylawislimited
(a)inthecaseofgoodswesupply,toanyoneofthe
followingaswedecide-
(i) thereplacementofthegoodsorthesupplyof
equivalentgoods;
(ii)therepairofthegoods;
(iii)thecostofrepairingthegoodsorofacquiring
equivalentgoods;
(b)inthecaseofserviceswesupply,toanyoneofthe
followingaswedecide–
(i) thesupplyingoftheservicesagain;
(ii)thecostofhavingtheservicessuppliedagain.
2.4Forrepairsoutsidethewarrantyperiod,wewarrant
ourrepairstobefreefromdefectsinmaterialsand
workmanshipforthreemonthsfromthedateofthe
originalrepair.Weagreetore-repairorreplace(atour
option)anymaterialsorworkmanshipwhichweare
satisedaredefective.
2.5
Wewarrantthatwewillperformserviceswith
reasonablecareandskillandagreetoinvestigateany
complaintregardingourservicesmadeingoodfaith.
Ifwearesatisedthatthecomplaintisjustied,and
asoursoleliabilitytoyouunderthiswarranty(tothe
extentpermittedatlaw),weagreetosupplythose
servicesagainatnoextrachargetoyou.
2.6Tomakeawarrantyclaimyoumustbeforetheendof
theapplicablewarrantyperiod(seewarrantytable),
atyourowncost,returnthegoodsyouallegeare
defective,providewrittendetailsofthedefect,andgive
usanoriginalorcopyofthesalesinvoiceorsomeother
evidenceshowingdetailsofthetransaction.

2.8Ifwedeterminethatyourgoodsaredefective,wewill
payforthecostofreturningtherepairedorreplaced
goodstoyou,andreimburseyouforyourreasonable
expensesofsendingyourwarrantyclaimtous.
3. What this warranty does not cover
3.1Thiswarrantywillnotapplyinrelationto:
(a)goodsmodiedoralteredinanyway;
(b)defectsanddamagecausedbyusewithnon
StandardCommunicationsproducts;
(c)repairsperformedotherthanbyourauthorised
representative;
(d)defectsordamageresultingfrommisuse,accident,
impactorneglect;
(e)goodsimproperlyinstalledorusedinamanner
contrarytotherelevantinstructionmanual;or
(f)goodswheretheserialnumberhasbeenremoved
ormadeillegal.
4. Warranty period
4.1WeprovidethefollowingwarrantyonGMEandKingray
products.Norepairorreplacementduringthewarranty
periodwillreneworextendthewarrantyperiodpast
theperiodfromoriginaldateofpurchase.
