INTRODUCTION

TheWirlesskeypadisusedtoremotelyprogramandoperatetheWiCommSmartHub.

Beingbi‐directionalthekeypadreceivesareplystatusindicationfromthepanelfor

eachcommandthatithassenttotheSmartHub.Tousefunctionsofthekeypadyou

canuseacodeora

proximitytag.

COMMUNICATION SETUP

ThekeypadmustidentifyitselftotheWiCommSmartHub.Thiscanbeperformed

eitherusingtheRISCOExpressWizard(www.riscocloud.com/express)byaddingthe

keypadatthesametimeoftheS martHubsysteminstallationorlatereitherbyusing

the“Settings”ontheWeb(www.riscocloud.com)orusingtheWiCommSmart

Hub,as

follows:

1. PressthebuttonontheWiCommSmartHubfor5seconds;theunitbeeps

onceasitentersLearnmode(alltheLEDsalsolightup,oneaftertheother).

2. Removetheredisolationstripstoactivatethebatteries.

3. Sendasignaltransmissionfrom

thekeypadbypressingand

simultaneouslyforatleast2seconds;theSmartHubbeepsoncetoacceptor

beepsthreetimestoreject.Onceaccepted,thesystemannouncesthedevicetype

anditszone(forexample,“Keypad,zone1”).

4. Tocompleteallocation,momentarilypresstheWiCom mSmartHub

button.

SLEEP MODE

Forextendingthebatterylifeofthekeypad,thekeypadisdesignedwithaSleepmode

function.Bydefault,10secondsafterthelastkeyhasbeenpressed,thekeypadwill

turnoffitsdisplayandLEDs.Thetimecanbeconfiguredbyyourinstallertoa

maximumof60seconds.



REPLACING BATTERIES

(seeFigure3)

1. Removethebatterycompartmentcoverscrewlocatedatthebottomofthecoverby

turningscrewcounterclockwise.

2. Pullupthebatterycompartmentcoveraccordingtoarrowdirection.

3. Pulloutthebatteryandreplaceitwithanewone.Payattentiontothepolaritywhen



insertingthenewbatteries.

4. Closethecaseandsecurethescrewtoitsplace.

CAUTION:Riskofexplosionifbatteryisreplacedbyanincorrecttype.Disposeof

usedbatteriesaccordingtolocalregulations.

CHANGING KEYPAD PARAMETERS

Anychangeperformedinthedefinitionofthekeypadparametersrequirestoupdate

thekeypadaswell.Thisisperformedbypressingthekeyfor2seconds.Doing

so,thepanelwillsendanupdatetothekeypad.

Note:Performthisfunction afterexitingProgrammingmodetoensurethatany

changesmadearesynchronizedbetweentheWiCommSmartHubandtheLCD

Keypad.



Standard Limited Product Warranty (“Limited Warranty”)

RISCOLtd.(“RISCOʺ)guaranteeRISCO’sh ardwareproducts(“Products”)tobefreefromdefect s

inmaterialsandworkmanshipwhenusedandstoredundernormalconditionsandinaccordance

withtheinstructionsforusesuppliedbyRISCO,for a periodof(i) 24 months fromthedateof

deliveryoftheProduct(the“WarrantyPeriod”).ThisLimitedWarrantycoverstheProductonly

within the country where the Product was originally purchased and only covers Products

purchasedasnew.

purchasedtheProductsdirectlyfromRISCOorfromanauthorize ddistribut orofRISCO.RISCO

doesnotwarranttheProducttoconsumersandnothinginthisWarrantyobligatesRISCOtoaccept

Product returns directly  from end users who purchased the Products for their own use from

RISCO’scustomerorfromanyinstallerofRISCO,orotherwiseprovidewarrantyorotherservices

toanysuchendus e rdirectly.RISCO’sauthorize ddistributororinstallershallhandleallinteractions

withits endusersin connection withthisLimitedWarranty. RISCO’sauthorizeddistributoror

installershallmakenowarranties,repr esentation s,guaranteesorstatementstoitsendusersorother

thirdpartiesthatsuggestthatRISCOhasanywarrantyorserviceobligationto,oranycontractual

privywith,an y recipientofaProduct.

Remedies.Intheeventthatamaterialdefect inaProduct is discovered and reportedtoRISCO

duringtheWarrantyPeriod,RISCOshall acceptreturnofthedefectiveProductinaccordancewith

thebelowRMAprocedureand,atitsoption,either(i)repairorhaverepairedthedefectiveProduct,

or(ii)provideareplacementproducttothe customer.

Return Material Authorization. In the event that you need to return your Product for repair or

replacemen t,RISCOwillprovideyouwithaReturnMerchandiseAuthorization Number(RMA#)as

well as return instructions. Do not return your Product without prior approvalfrom RISCO. Any

Productreturnedwithout avalid,unique RMA#willbe refusedandreturn ed to thesender at the

sender’sexpense.There tu rnedProductmustbe accomp aniedwithadetaileddescriptionof thedefect

discovered(“DefectDescription”)andmustotherwisefollowRISCO’sthen‐currentRMAprocedure

publishedinRISCO’swebsiteatwww.riscogroup.cominconnectionwithanysuchreturn.IfRISCO

determines in its reasonable discretion that any Product returned by customer conforms to the

applicablewarranty(“Non‐DefectivePr oduct”),RISCOwillnotifythecustomerofsuchdetermination

andwillreturntheapplicableProducttocustomeratcustomer’sexpense.Inaddition,RISCOmay

proposeandassess cus tomerachargefortestingandexaminationofNon‐Defec tiveProduct.

EntireLiability.TherepairorreplacementofProductsinaccordancewiththisLimitedWarranty

shallbeRISCO’sentireliabilityandcustomer’ssoleandexclusiveremedyincaseamaterialdefect

inaProductisdiscoveredandreported asrequiredherein.RISCO’sobligationandthisLimited

WarrantyarecontingentuponthefullpaymentbycustomerforsuchProductanduponaproven

weeklytestingandexaminationof theProductfunctionality.

Limitations. This Limited Warranty is the only warranty made by RISCO with respect to the

Products.Thewarrantyisnottran sf e rab le toanythirdparty.Tothemaximumextentpermit tedby

applicablelaw,thisLi mitedWarrantyshallnotapplyandwi llbevoidif:(i)theconditionssetforth

abovearenotmet(including,butnotlimitedto,fullpaymentbycustomerfortheProductanda

provenweeklytestingand examinationoftheProductfunctionality);(i i) iftheProductsoranypart

orcomponentthereof:(a)havebeensubjectedtoimproperoperati onorinstallation;(b)havebeen

subjecttoneglect,abuse,willfuldamage,abnormalworkingconditions,failuretofollowRISCO’s

instructions (whether oral or in writing); (c) have been misused , altered, modified or repaired

withoutRISCO’swrittenapprovalorcombinedwith,orinstalledonproducts,orequipmentofthe

customerorofanythirdparty;(d)havebeendamagedbyanyfactorbeyondRISCO’sreasonable

controlsuchas,butnotlimitedto,powerfailure,electricpowersurges,orunsuitablethirdparty

componentsandtheinteractionofsoftwaretherewithor(e)anyfailureordelayintheperformance

ofthe Productattributable toany means ofcommunicationprovidedbyanythirdparty service

provider, including, but not limited to, GSM interruptions, lack of or internet outage and/or

telephony failure. BATTERIES ARE EXPLICITLY EXCLUDED FROM THE WARRANTY AND

RISCOSHALLNOTBEHELDRESPONSIBLEORLIABLEINRELATIONTHERET O, ANDTHE

ONLYWARRANTYAPPLICAB LETHERETO,IFANY,ISTHEBATTERYMANUFACTURERʹS

WARRANTY.RISCOdoesnotinstallorintegrateth eProductintheen duser’ssecuritysystemand

isthereforenotresponsibleforandcannotguaranteetheperformanceoftheenduser’ssecurity

systemwhichusestheProductorwhich theProductisacomponentof.

This Limited Warranty applies only to Products manufactu re d by or for RISCO. Further, this

Limited  Warranty does not apply to any software (inclu di n g operatin g system) added to or

providedwiththeProductsoranythird‐partysoftware,evenifpackagedorsoldwiththeRISCO

Product. Manufacturers, suppliers, or third parties other than RISCO may provide their own

warranties ,butRISCO,tothe extentpermittedbylawandexceptasotherwisespecificallysetforth

herein,providesitsProducts“ASIS”.Softwareandapplicationsdistributedormadeavailableby

RISCO in conjunction withtheProduct (with or without theRISCO brand), including, butnot

limitedtosystemsoftware,aswellasP2PservicesoranyotherservicemadeavailablebyRISCOin

relationtotheProduct,arenotcoveredunderthisLimitedWarranty.RefertotheTermsofService

inallcasesprovideadequatewarningorprotection.Aproperlyinstalledandmaintainedalarm

mayonlyreducetheriskof aburglary,robberyorfirewithoutwarning,butitisnotinsuranceora

guaranteethatsuchwillnot occuror willnot causeor leadtopersonalinjuryorproperty loss.

CONSEQUENTLY, RISCO SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY,

PROPERTY DAMAGE OR OTHER LOSS BASED ON ANY CLAIM AT ALL INCLUDING A
