1. About the Unit
This product is an AC-DC power supply unit used for the CONTEC F&eIT series.
When using with non-CONTEC equipment, please refer to the maker website for the basic
features data and guidance of KH series regarding the specification.

3. Safety Precautions
Understand the following definitions and precautions to use the product safely.
The caution mark " " on the face of the product indicates that you should always check

Safety Information
This document provides safety information using the following symbols to prevent acci-
dents resulting in injury or death and the destruction of equipment and resources. Under-
stand the meanings of these labels to operate the equipment safely.
DANGER
Signal word used to indicate an imminently hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or
serious injury.
WARNING
Signal word used to indicate a potentially hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.
CAUTION
Signal word used to indicate a potentially hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or
moderate injury.
Handling Precautions
WARNING
Do not use the product in locations exposed to a flammable or corrosive gas. It may
cause explosion, fire, electrical shock, or malfunction.
If you sense abnormality (smoke, odor, or noise), immediately unplug the power cord
from the wall outlet and contact the CONTEC sales representative or sales office.
To avoid electrocution do not use the product with a wet hand.
Be sure to connect the product to the stipulated power supply voltage. Connecting to a
different voltage might cause a fire or electrical shock.
Do not use the product with the other power device. It may cause fire or malfunction.
When the cable or main body is damaged, stop using and repair it immediately. Using it
as it is may cause fire, electrical shock or malfunction.
Never disassemble or modify the product or replace its parts in order to prevent electrical
shock, fire, or malfunction. CONTEC reserves the right to refuse servicing the product
modified by the user. When any part of the product needs to be replaced at the expi-
ration of its life or due to breakdown, please contact the CONTEC sales representative or
sales office.
Use the product with the specified models by the CONTEC. Not doing so may cause
malfunction.
Use the product in the specified operating condition (temperature and humidity)
This product is a device embedded product, it is not a final product.

CAUTION
Do not use or store the product in a location exposed to extremely high or low temper-
ature or susceptible to a rapid temperature change.
Example: - Exposure to direct sun - In the vicinity of a heat source
When unplugging the cable, hold the plug. Holding and pulling the cable itself can cause
a failure such as discontinuity.
To clean the product wipe it gently with soft cloth damp with either water or mild deter-
gent.
Do not use chemicals or a volatile solvent, such as benzene and thinner, to prevent peel-
ing or discoloration of the paint.
When transporting the product, provide adequate measures to protect it from vibration
or shock.

Storage
When storing this product, keep it in its original packing form.

vant laws and municipal ordinances.
