Introduction

Thank you for your purchase of our LCD TV/Monitor. To enjoy your set to the fullest, read
this manual carefully and keep it handy for future reference.
Installation
! Locate the receiver in the room where direct light does not strike the screen.
Total darkness or a reflection on the picture screen can cause eyestrain.
Soft and indirect lighting is recommended for comfortable viewing.
! Allow enough space between the receiver and the wall to permit ventilation.
! Avoid excessively warm locations to prevent possible damage to the cabinet or
premature component failure.
! This TV receiver can be connected to AC sources from 100-240 Volts,50/60 Hz. Never
connect to DC supply or any other power supply.
! Do not install the receiver in a location near heat sources such as radiator, air ducts,
direct sunlight, or in a place some where like close compartment and close area.
! Do not cover the ventilation openings when using the set.
Warnings and cautions
Warning
High voltages are used in the operation of this product.
Do not remove the back cover of the cabinet. Refer servicing to
qualified service personnel.
Warning
To prevent fire or electrical shock hazard, do not expose the main
unit to rain or moisture.

Do not drop or push objects into the television cabinet slots or
openings. Never spill any kind of liquid on the television receiver.

Caution
When the product is not used for an extended period of time, it is
advisable to disconnect the AC power cord from the AC outlet.
Caution
Avoid exposing the main unit to direct sunlight and other source
of the heat. Do not stand the television receiver directly on other
product which give off heat. E. g. video cassette players, audio
amplifiers. Do not block the ventilation holes in the back cover.
Ventilation is essential to prevent failure of electrical component.
Do not squash power supply cord under the main unit.
Caution
The LCD panel used in this product is made of glass. Therefore, it
can break when the product is dropped or applied with impact. Be
careful not to be injured by broken glass pieces in case the LCD
panel breaks.

converter to plug in antenna input terminal on the rear of the
cabinet.

Battery installation & replacement for remote control unit.
1. Turn the remote control unit upside down. Open
the battery compartment cover.
2. Install two new batteries, make sure that battery
polarity matches with the marks
inside the battery. Or not it could damage the unit.
3. Close the battery compartment cover .
The remote control uses two 1.5V AAA batteries.

1. STANDBY
This key is to operate the function of Stand by and Power on.
Press this key to call out the signal source select Menu as the
following sketch map shows. Use [ ]/[ ] to select and press
[OK] or [ ] to confirm the selected signal source.

Press the NUM keys to switch the current program to the
aimed channel.

5. Numeric digits select -/--

When one-digit is input, use NUM keys [0] ~ [9] directly. If user wants to enter two-digit or three
digit press [-/--] first to switch to two or three digit input and then use the NUM keys [0]~[9] to
enter the number of the channel; one-digit, two-digit and three- digit input switch in turn as - --
--- . In the state of 2 or 3 digit input, when the second or third number is not entered within 3
seconds after the previous one's entering, it will go to the channel according to the digit already
input.
Note: The max program number is 235!

6. [V+]/ [V-]
When MUTE is set to OFF, use this key to turn the volume up and down ranging from 0 to 100;
When MUTE is set to ON, press [V+] to exit the mute mode while the volume is turned up synchronously;
And press [V-] to turn the volume down while keep the mute mode still.

7. [P+]/ [P-]
Press this key to turn to the next or previous program of which the SKIP is set to off.
If it's not TV source in the main window, Switch to TV source.
8. MENU
Use this key to Enter / Switch/ Exit the main menu pages. You can find the detail in the Part 3.
9. MUTE
Press the [MUTE] key to enter the mute mode and
press again to cancel.
When it is in mute mode, screen displays as the following

Press this key to select the size of the picture. The related information will be revealed below

11. (I/II)Support NICAM and A2 as well
Press I/II , to switch the sound signal in turn as the following table shows while the icons
change synchronously.
12. TXT
Use this key to switch between the TELETEXT information revealing and the normal display in turn
as follows: Normal TEXT.
Note: The TXT key is only active in single window mode.
Note: The TELETEXT is available in a short time, not immediately.
Note: The detecting of TELETEXT needs some time.

13. MIX
Use this key to switch between the TELETEXT information revealing and the mix mode display
in turn as follows: TEXT MIX.
In the MIX mode, text will be lap over the TV picture with a transparent background.
14. SIZE
Press this key to change the size of the character of the current text page.
15. INDEX
Text goes back to the index page.
16. HOLD
This function is used in the TEXT mode. Press this key to keep the current text page from refreshing,
and press again to cancel the holding state.

17. REVEAL
Reveal / conceal some of the concealed information of the current text page.
18. SUBPAGE
At the TEXT mode, press this key to enter the selected sub page.
19. EXIT
Use this key to switch between the TELETEXT information revealing and the normal display in turn as
follows: TEXT Normal.
20. SCAN
When the current mode is not TELETEXT or MIX and there is no PIP or PBP, which means the current
picture is the single picture displayed, press this key to scan the program; The currently playing program
number or source is revealed in the middle of the screen while the other programs display in sequence
from the No. 1 channel around it. The number of next channel is one more than of preview channel as the

following sketch map shows. Use [ ]/[ ]/[ ]/[ ] to select

25. PIP FREEZE
Press this key to keep the current sub-picture (the PIP) stands still; press again to cancel.
At the same time, it shows SUB PIC STILL at the bottom of the screen.

Use this key to turn to next or previous program of the PIP when the sub source is TV.
