Fitting
Please read all of this instruction before
installing the splashback.
The manufacture disclaims all liabilities
for any damage or injury caused as a
result of not following this instruction
leaet.
This splashback is designed to t
behind a Rangemaster cooker.
It is made of toughened safety glass –
any localised pressure on the glass may
cause it to shatter.
The wall should be at and clear of any
obstructions.
If it is not, the wall must be made good
before proceeding or be prepared to
pack the splash forward of the wall.
Do not attempt to remove the tape
from the back of the glass – it is there
to retain the glass if it should be
broken.
Do not under any circumstances
attempt to cut or drill into the glass
splashback, as this will cause the glass
to shatter.
Take care, the splashback is heavy and
we recommend at least two people
should t it. Beware of sharp edges.
Before drilling the wall check that
there are no electrical cables or pipe
work in the wall in the xing areas.
The splashback should be tted AFTER
the cooker has been installed and
BEFORE a cookerhood is tted.
To Fit the Splashback
You will need the following equipment
to complete the splashback installation
satisfactorily
A pencil or marker
A rule
A drill
A 7mm masonry drill
A cross point screwdriver
If it is necessary to x to a hollow
construction plaster or partition
wall you will need special plaster
board xing screws or plugs.
In order to t the splashback at the
correct height the cooker must rst be
installed, set to the correct height and
levelled.
Mark the wall behind the cooker at the
ue grille height.

At least 6 screws must be used to hold
the splashback, 3 at the top and 3 at
the bottom.
Remove the splashback and drill the
wall using a 7mm masonry bit. Using
the rawl plugs and screws provided,
screw the splashback in position.
Note: When tting a cookerhood
please refer to the cookerhood
instructions for important tting
dimensions.
The cookerhood should be tted as
