ThePAXS80terminalcomeswithapowersupply,telephonecord,andarollofthermalpaper.



ConnectingtheTerminal

Thefirstthingthatshouldbedoneistoconnectthephonelineorethernet(LAN)cableand

powercord.Thedeviceneedsanetworkconnectiontoruntransactionsandcommunicatewith

theprocessor.

1. OnthebackoftheS80pluganethernetcableintotheLANportORthephonecableintothe

LINEport.





2. Plugtheotherendoftheethernetcableintoanopenportontherouter/modem.Ifusinga

phonecableconnecttheotherendintoawalljackpreferablynotsharedwithanotherdevice.



3. PlugthepowercableintothePOWERport.



4. Plugthepoweradapterintoapoweroutlet.



LoadthePaper

Loadarollofpaperintotheterminalusingtheinstructionsbelow.

1. Pressthegreenreleasebuttontotherightofthepaperdrawertoopentheprintercover.



2. Droptherollofpaperintothetraywiththeleadingedgefeedingfromthebottomoftheroll.



3. Closethecoveronthepaperwithasmallamountstickingout.



4. Pressandholdthepowerbuttontoturnontheterminal.TheS80isreadytoprocess

transactionswhenitdisplaysINPUTAMOUNT.


