statusindications:Good(0to800ppm),Normal(800to1200ppm),Poor(>1200ppm).
AnacousticalarmsoundswhentheCO
2
levelexceedsadefinedlevel.Thismeterisshippedfullytestedand
calibratedand,withproperuse,willprovideyearsofreliableservice.
Operation
1. Powerbutton(rear)
Turnstheunitonoroff.
2. HOLDbutton(rear)
Freezesthecurrentreadinginthedisplay.
3. °C/°Fbutton(rear)
Selects°Cor°F
4. Clockbutton(rear)
Pressandholdthisbuttonfor2secondstoenter
intoclockmode.Pressthe
orbutton
toadjusttheflashingdigits.Presstheclock
buttonagaintostepthroughthesettings
(day:month:year;hour:minute).Pressthe“ESC”buttontoexittheclocksettingmode.
5. Alarmbutton
PresstheAlarmbuttononcetoactivatetheAlarmmode.The
iconappearsonLCDdisplay.If
themeasuredvalueexceedsthedefinedvalue,thealarmwillsoundandthedisplaywillflash.
PressthebuttonagaintoexittheAlarmmode.
AlarmValueSetting
PressandholdtheALARMbuttonfor2secondstoenterintosettingmode.The
iconwill
flash.
Presstheorbuttontoincreaseordecreasethevalue.
PresstheESCbuttontoexitthesettingmode.
“GOODNORMAL”and“NORMALPOOR”ValueSetting
IntheAlarmValueSettingmode,presstheALARMbuttontosettheGOODNORMALthreshold
value.“GOODNORMAL”will
appearinthedisplay.Adjustthevalueasneeded.PresstheALARM
buttonagaintosettheNORMALPOORthresholdvalue.“NORMALPOOR”willappearinthe
display.Adjustthevalueasneeded.
PresstheESCbuttontoexitthemode.

ABC(AutomaticBaselineCalibration)establishesabaselinecalibrationtoeliminatethezerodriftof
theinfraredsensor.TheABCfunctionisalways“ON”whenthemeteristurnedon.ABCisdesigned
tocalibratethemeterattheminimumCO2readingdetectedduring7daysofcontinuous
monitoring(poweron).It
assumesthattheareabeingtestedreceivesfreshairwithaCO2levelof
approximately400ppmatsomeperiodoftimeduringthesevendays.Itisnotsuitabletousea
desktopCO2meterinclosedareaswithconsistentlyhighCO2levels,24hoursaday.
Maintenance
1. Themetershouldbecleanedwithadampclothandmilddetergentwhennecessary.Donotusesolvents
orabrasives.
2. Storethemeterinanareawithmoderatetemperatureandhumidity.
